Great customer service at the drive thru. When they take your order through the intercom, it's always a very polite person. When you finally see who took your order it's normally a young employee. It's really a hit or miss coming here. I wish I could give it a better review but I've had too many bad experiences here. I come here for convenience because I work just around the corner. Some of the staff don't know how to handle a bad situation. What I would give it a star for is how fast the drive-thru can be considering how many people come here. It can look pretty long but it passes. There are times, however, where it would take a long time but I would blame the customer and not the people. When that happens though, my order is wrong. One time I received a completely wrong order so I had to go inside and sort it out. What I don't like about the place is the many people that come here to take up space and not buy anything. Also, there seems to be pretty bad communication between coworkers when I go inside. Error in communication has lead to a delay in the line. Horrible and unprofessional service. Asked to get the new tenders , out. Person over drive through speaks so softly it's hard to hear them. Asked specifically for fresh fries , gave me old fry's that they purposely double fried and added a horrific amount of salt to them so they would be hot, so at the touch we thought they where fresh but when eaten , half the fries where to hard to chew, nasty burnt salty sticks . We ended up throwing out half our food because it was inedible, burgers weren't even warm , nasty. This is not my first terrible experience with them, my last visit a few days ago I watched an employee scoop with her hands ice out of people's drinks and when I asked for a different drink she was polite enough , I guess to do it but added in " shit fam fuck, my feet hurt, I'm tired" but here's your food after not washing or sanitizing her hands after dipping into peoples drinks. Id like to contact corporate, if they didn't conveniently not replace their ink in their receipt machine so nothing can be read from it, to even ensure I was charged correctly let alone get the numbers I need to report them to corporate. First of all I don't think the two lanes drive through makes anything faster. Usually when I'm on one lane the worker ignores me & just acknowledges the customer in the other lane. I had to drive up to the window to order. I went here for breakfast once and I was there at 10:30am but there was one customer ahead of me in the drive through lane. The worker comes out to change to display from breakfast to lunch. I wAs pissed. They should have someone taking orders outside like in In n Out because the drive through moves too slow. Also they should still serve breakfast to those that were in line even up to 5 min. late or even better serve breakfast all day like Jack in the Box. read more

I've been coming to this McDonald's since I was a kid. And I've got to say this place has really gone down hill. Customer service is really rude and sarcastic. No one is ever in a good mood. The food always seems to be made in a rush and very sloppy. Their ice cream machine is almost always down. Recently I went in through the drive and waited almost a 1/2 an hour, service was so slow. I finally made it to the first window to pay just to find out they wouldn't accept my coupon from the official McDonald's app. I asked to speak to the manager and some random employee came to me, didn't present her self in any way and basically told me to take it up with corporate. I asked to speak to the manager on duty. Finally the manager Paula spoke to me. She told me the same story about how they don't make the app and that I should take it up with the app creater. She offered no solution, was very rude and very sarcastic. Worst McDonald's in the area by far. read more

October 20, 2016 This location is one of the slowest and inefficient of all the local McDonald's. The staff seem to be leaderless and very "young" including management. This lack of maturity really shows at times. Not your average McDonald's and I don't mean that in a complimentary way. read more

I came to this mcdonalds and ordered thru drive thru service was pretty slow .. but it is Christmas so I'll cut them some slack .. anyways we ordered more then $30 of food and when I checked our bags I noticed a cheese burger was missing we told the cashier and she told us to give her all the bags so she could check them for us !! So bad we couldn't even have sex afterwards. Trying to remember everything that went wrong. Long wait in the drive through. Drink was the wrong size. The fries were undercooked. The chicken nuggets were from two different batches, one was burnt, the other soggy. They got 1/4 sauces correct. The burger patties were dried out and crumbly. Half way thru the meal we thru everything out. I gave this location the benefit of the doubt, even after reading the previous yelp reviews. Save yourself. read more

I just ordered from this McDonald's. I went through the drive through I could barely hear the lady and she was giving me my total when I wasn't even done. I told her I'm not done with it and she said rudely "I'm still here... Okay" and it's wasn't very nice. Then I pulled up to the drive through and I asked the lady in the window if she the one that took my order and she yes. I asked for her name and her Name was "PAULA" and I told her she was being rude through the drive through and she said I was when all I was doing was taking my order and trying to hear her. When she gave my card back she slammed the window in my face. I don't find that very nice at all. I call back after I left the location and she answer the phone and she answered very rudely I was looking for the manager and she CLAMMING to be the manager. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME!!! I was just at this location to get some sweet snacks to munch on while watching the movies we rented. Anyway, I ordered apple pies, but they said they didnt have anymore and they only had the strawberries and cream...so I said fine. Then I proceeded to the window to pay...sat there patiently while they waited on the two cars ahead of me. Then when I get to the window to pay the cashier tells me there wasnt anymore of the strawberry pies, this after she had told me that there was 3 left of it and took my order. So i asked her how did that happened, she said that the car ahead of me had ordered some...dont know if they had already ordered it before had or just decided to add it when they were already picking up their food. So I basically sat there waiting for about 10 minutes for nothing and while cashier said sorry, she was smirking at the same time...like it was funny! But I didnt want to take up anymore of my time to get out of the car and go inside and talk to a manager if there was one...and just ruin my day. So here I am ranting and giving you a bad review. Your people need to get it together...and make sure that they are double checking, even triple checking if they are not sure if food is still available, instead of wasting your costumers time waiting in line to end up receiving nothing!!! read more

The reason why I'm not at churches chicken across the street is because they do not have free wifi. Where to START?! Talk about hiring at the bottom of the barrel! The establishment looks very modern and looks great and that's the only thing close to a good comment can get for this place. We all know looks can be deceiving, I can't blame one person because everyone is to blame from management to the bottom of the barrel. Orders take forever, employees are not kind to others which makes me nervous when they are handling food and sets a bad atmosphere. Makes a happy meal look like a death meal. Tables are left dirty and cashiers seem like they need Rosetta stone for English. However there is one short Asian cashier that I always can count on to get an order right and quick. I think all this place needs is a little people grooming, set some standards up or fire them and a lot of leadership. Everything else would fall into place. I have personal knowledge that in regards to a health concern effecting the general public. This location of McDonalds is run by a General Manager named Amador. Both him and his shift managers engage in a pattern of conduct that puts the general public of risk of infection by the transmission of airborne pathogens from its employees. I have personal knowledge of 3 different individuals that are employed at said location. During the course of a work shift, If an employee becomes too ill due to cold and flu like symptoms, the managers on staff will not allow the sick employee to end their shift. They demand visibly sick employees work regardless of the health concerns and the spread of disease. There was a day in particular that one of the individuals I knew was at the subject location and was dizzy, had a fever and was almost falling over. He informed management he needed to go home and lay down, He believed he was infectious and shouldn't been on duty. His request was refused and he was compelled to remain on shift. I personally went to the subject location and asked for a manager on duty. I took the manager to the side and advised them that they were in violation of OSHA regulations as well as health codes pertaining to communicable/infectious disease handling practices. I told the manager I knew the employee was on duty, was infectious and had requested to be sent home and was refused the request. I advised I would be making a health department complaint if they refused to release him immediately. They sent him home a half hour later. As to the other two employees, I have personal knowledge that having called in to work with stomach flu symptoms including throwing up, the management refuse to accept the employee's request to not have a work shift that day. They state that they are busy and the shift needs to be covered and they have no alternates to cover the subject shift they are compelled to work. Even when one of these two went to urgent care and submitted a doctor's verification of illness, the manager "Amador" refuses to accept the employee's illness as reasonable. Currently Contra Costa is experiencing a rash of airborne illness and many of the employees at this location are forced to work when sick, magnifying the problem as the staff infect the unsuspecting general public because management at this location compel ill staff to fill food production and handling positions despite being contagious and ill. . read more

What a horrible place. Last time I went here the whole dinning area looked like if homeless people were fighting and left their trash. The food isn't too good either because I felt sick after eating there not too long ago. The fries..... are too soft or too dry. They never seem to have the soft serve machine working and the bathrooms are always - you know - filthy. I have been coming here since I was a kid as this is the o my McDonald's in town. I was beyond livid with the horrible service I received today. I pulled into the drive thru and placed my order. The line was fairly long, but I did not mind the wait. I waited around 10 minutes to get to the window and pay for my order. The young man asks if I am using cash or my card. I say I have a card. He informs me that the card machine is not working and the system is down. The manager standing next to him proceeds to yell to someone that they are not telling people that the machine is down when orders are being placed. I never once received an apology for my inconvenience nor was it even acknowledged. Having worked in the food and service industry I understand this is in no fault to the young man at the window or the young lady who took my order. Management needs to do a better job at training their employees how to handle situations like this and how to provide a better service experience. Technical issues happen all the time. What matters is how you present this to your customers. read more

So I used to work across the way from this mcdonalds and I would go there every day on my lunch and order the same thing every day.... and every day the food was made wrong... it wasnt that hard just LIGHT mayo on the mcchicken thats all i wanted... some days i got ketchup some days extra mayo sometimes a mcdouble is what they gave me WTF?! So eventually I learned my lesson and stopped going there. Their sweet tea is rarely sweet and the amount of people who work there AND speak English is dwindling. Nobody seems to know what is going on or what their job is. I went there a few different late nights and tried to order ice cream, each time I was told their ice cream machine was NOT working... but the very next morning my roommate could go get her mccafe (that requires ice cream according to md) hmmm how does that work? This last time I went down there and attempted to order ice cream the girl on the drive thru was VERY RUDE told me to call corporate because she didnt give a F*CK... I dont expect much from mcdonalds but seriously?! So I did call corporate and I was told they were cleaning the ice cream machines and thats why I couldnt order any at the time.... So why the f*ck didnt they tell me that when I was in the drive thru... I can understand if you are cleaning it but dont lie to me!!! So corporate sends me coupons for free McCafes but they do me NO good because I dont drink anything coffee related... so yet again mcdonalds messed things up.
