a cup of ice cream with a spoon sticking out of it
    Teresa B.

I'm a grandmother from Illinois visiting my grandsons. The four year old wanted a Oreo McFlurry from McDonald's. I called first because earlier last week they said the ice cream machine was down and not working, so I called first to make sure it was working this time so we wouldn't have to make a trip to somewhere else, however when I called all I got was a fax machine noise, no one even switched the fax off to answer the phone. I'm retired now but I've worked in business and management for almost 36 years and this is very poor management not to have anyone there to answer phone calls when customers need to ask a questions! We went to the one on Perry Parkway. We went there ordered and paid $3.20 for this sorry amount of a Oreo McFlurry shown in this picture. There was barely a 1/4 of cup of ice cream in the cup. Will not be going back there just to disappoint our grandson again.

Plenty to drink and even a TV.

Waited 45 minutes for my order only to get to the window to repeat my order. Worst customer service ever.

Slowest fast food restaurant or restaurant in general. Have to wait AT LEAST 30 min every time. Drive through always forever long.

Waited 15 minutes for an ice cream cone in the drive thru. 3 cars were ahead of me. Not acceptable.

Nice, new McDonalds. A little off the interstate, but worth the drive. Very clean restrooms and dining area! Excellent & friendly service.

Since they opened, my husband and I have been wanting to check out Woodlands Coffee Roasters &…read moreCafé, and we finally made it happen on a Sunday evening around 6pm (they close at 7pm daily). From the moment we walked in, the vibe felt like a cozy cabin retreat with rustic accents. It was clear that a lot of intentional thought went into designing this space, it's one of those cafés where you keep noticing little details the longer you're inside. Merch is everywhere in a very on-brand way. Immediately to the right, there are T-shirts, mugs, and other coffee-related items for sale, including ground coffee beans. Just about everything is branded with the café's name. Personally, I'm not sure I'd wear a hat or T-shirt with a restaurant's name unless I worked there, but I can see how fans of the brand would enjoy it. Seating options are plentiful and varied, which I really appreciated. You can sit inside, on the rooftop, or on the outside patio. According to their website, they also rent out the Legacy Room, rooftop, fire pit in the rear, or even the entire house, with pricing clearly listed. They also host monthly events, which makes this spot feel very community-oriented. While it wasn't super crowded when we arrived, the chatter was lively and created a nice, welcoming energy. The staff matched that vibe, friendly, warm, and attentive from the start. The menu offers a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and smoothies, along with breakfast, lunch, and a custom brunch menu on Sundays. I would love to see more vegetarian options added to the menu, though. That said, there was a solid pastry selection, including several vegan and gluten-free options, which was nice to see. I ordered one of the January specials, the White Mocha Valencia Latte, and my husband went with an Americano. Drinks are available in 12oz, 16oz, and 20oz sizes. We also ordered the Flatbread. The online menu listed mushrooms as an optional topping, but they didn't have any available, so I opted for no toppings. We decided to eat the flatbread there, and a very amicable young lady brought it out to our table. I really appreciated that the staff took the time to double-check with the kitchen before saying no to anything. I asked if they had crushed red peppers for the very cheesy flatbread, and after checking, she let me know they didn't. My latte was enjoyable, well balanced and sweet without being overbearing. The flatbread was just okay for me. I wasn't a fan of the marinara, and I think crushed red peppers would have helped elevate the flavor had they been available. Overall, we enjoyed our time at Woodlands. The space was clean, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was ideal for writing, reading, or catching up with friends over coffee. It's definitely a thoughtfully designed café with a lot of potential, and I'm glad we finally made it in.

When we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us immediately. The restaurant itself is quaint and cozy with an ambiance that feels casual yet slightly upscale, perfect for a relaxed date night or when you want to feel a little fancy without having to iron your clothes first. One thing I appreciated right away was the menu. It wasn't overwhelming but still offered a nice variety of Italian classics. You'll find fresh pasta dishes, wood-fired pizzas, and entrées like chicken and eggplant Parmesan, along with several traditional Italian desserts. There was a decent amount of options. Our waiter was professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening. To start, both my husband and I ordered the Hugo Spritz. They were light, refreshing, and very well made, basically the kind of drink that makes you want to sit back, sip slowly, and pretend you're on a patio somewhere in Italy instead of Middle Georgia. As a pescatarian, I originally ordered the Trota al Forno, a pan-seared seasonal fish entrée. Sadly, our waiter had to come back with the disappointing news that they were out. My pescatarian heart sank just a little... but hunger waits for no one. So I pivoted and ordered a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp instead. My husband ordered a pizza, half pepperoni and half cheese. The pizza here is very thin and wood-fired. We both enjoyed the pizza, it had just the right balance of sauce and crust, and everything was seasoned very well. It comes with eight slices, but because they're so thin, they disappear quickly. My Caesar salad was fresh and topped with nicely grilled shrimp. The house made dressing had great flavor, though it was a bit more generous than my personal preference. If I were to get a salad again I would ask for the dressing on the side. They also offer weeknight specials Tuesday through Thursday, so it's worth checking their website for the details before heading out. Overall, we had a really nice experience. The customer service was outstanding. Was it the best pizza around? No, but it was definitely tasty and satisfying. The Caesar salad was good, and the atmosphere made for a pleasant evening. We'll definitely be back... and hopefully next time the fish entrée and I will finally meet.

And when she did she said she was training a new person, ok???? How about trying to train her to take care of customers!! I ordered. And 27 minutes later, NOTHING! For just eggs and biscuits and gravy! She never even came back to me for water. Rude rude!! I finally just walked out. Unbelievable! I spend a lot of time there at the fairgrounds and will make sure I tell all to stay away. I was very disappointed!

Disappointing, but I understand and quickly assessed my lunch options. We decided to order an appetizer and then split a lunch plate. For the appetizer we got the loaded fries, since they were hand cut as we were sitting there. Overall the loaded fries were okay. I think they went too heavy on the cheese and the other noticeable thing was that the cinnamon in the chili was a little stronger than I would have liked. For lunch it was a Big Sexy Burger which had a double burger, pimento cheese, bacon jam and maybe some other stuff. But those items mentioned sold me on trying it. My only criticism about the burger would be the pimento cheese, it seemed to be heavy on the mayo and not as much cheese, but overall a decent burger. I think the real star of the meal was the onion rings, I would definitely recommend these. Now that we tried their lunch, I am looking forward to trying their breakfast menu.
