The food and cleanliness at this Cook Out location were great and the service fast. I had never had Cook Out before today but had been told I should give it a try. I decided to order a few different things today and am glad I did. The spicy chicken sandwich was juicy with crispy breading and a nice bun though the seasoning seemed a little bland. The white cheddar cheese bites were good, and so were the hush puppies. The standout was the "Regular Burger" which was delicious and honestly now tops my list of fast food burgers. The tomato was juicy, the pickle tasty, the lettuce firm and fresh, and with just the right amount of condiments. I also ordered the Cheerwine to drink and the Egg Nog Shake for dessert. I must say that both were tasty, especially the shake which had a natural egg nog taste and a thick ice cream base. read more

The people working here don't care whether you get the correct food or not because by the time you check it you're already gone. This has happened several times and finally we started eating it in the car because we got sick of getting stuck with something we didn't order. Tonight we received a burger with a half inch thick solid slice of an onion and about a quarter of a cup of mayonnaise on it. We went back to the window and showed them the receipt and the burger. No apology no nothing. Lazy manager standing there flapping her gums with employees. After ten minutes of waiting in the rain for the burger someone comes up from the kitchen and asks what was missing. Yep they hadn't even started to fix the issue. Food was decent. The cheeseburger was yummy and loved the cheese curd bites they have as a side. The menu is large so there is definitely a lot of choices for everyone. Cook out originated in NC and there is NO BBQ sauce on ANY cook out BBQ in NC. Who thought it was ok to add BBQ sauce on the BBQ in Georgia without notifying the customer. The BBQ sandwich comes with coleslaw & Texas Pete hot sauce not BBQ sauce. Ugghhh!!! This place is hit or miss at best. Sometimes I get all my order sometimes I have to come back. Tonight I was in a rush & didn't check, I requested fries & hushpuppies as my sides I got home to fries & coleslaw no fries at all. Tonight I just don't have the energy to go back. STOLE MY CC NUMBER - An employee at this location (Perry, GA) stole my credit card number and used it repeatedly until AMEX notified me and we stopped the fraudulent charges. I went through the drive thru and handed my card to an a girl with longish hair who referred to me as "baby". I reported the fraud to the corporate office who said they would assist me if I went to the local police. As this is a location of I75 and I was travelling, this isn't quite that easy. Then "Barbara" at the corporate office suggested that they wouldn't do anything and even said maybe it was me that was actually making the charges. I must say this is my last stop at Cook Out. Thanks Barbara for making an effort to stop a corrupt employee and running off a customer. read more

The food is delicious and exceeded our expectations BIG time! Everything we got was delicious, hot and fresh! The flavor on the chicken breast was incredible. Brought me back to my childhood cookouts in Florida just from the smell char. The veggies were fresh, the dipping sauces are AMAZING! Just went through the drive thru, order I received was not even in the same ballpark of what was stated. Ordered spicy chicken, got a hamburger, ordered cheese bites got a wrap. Food was great. We ate here twice during our stay in Perry. Always hot and service was good.

The order is never even close. The people that work there could care less. I ordered a cheddar burger and a BBQ burger no cheese or BBQ sauce on anything. Toppings are thrown in the general direction of the burger which was sitting under a heat lamp for hours judging by the texture. I love the walk up window I think that's really cool. Place is very clean looking. Food is fresh as always and the service is wonderful
