McDonald's (Price Increases & Value) McDonald's Prices have gotten way out of hand. Paying about $5 for a plain chocolate shake is ridiculous for fast food. Meals are getting close to $10-$15, but the quality and portions haven't improved at all. At the end of the day, fast food used to be about quick and affordable. Now it's quick... but definitely not affordable. Overall: * Taste: still the same * Value: getting worse * Pricing: way too high for what you get I don't mind paying more if quality improves--but right now, it just feels like you're paying more for the same thing. read more

AVOID. I eat here frequently because there is not much left in pageland. Good luck getting through the drive through in less than 20 min. The food is never right. The people are rude except the one young black guy that runs the food back and forth to the cars. The food is always cold, even after a long wait. Plenty of employees. Food is always fresh fries are always hot drinks are always perfect not too much ice just the right amount the service is great and always with the smile and respect. I really don't understand the poor rating I'm supposed that was maybe a person that was just not happy with their life or whatever but there's no way that reflects this restaurant this restaurant is fantastic it's one of the best that I've been to and I frequent McDonald's all up and down the East Coast. I had a complaint one time and saw one of the managers her name was Laura and she fixed it right away no questions asked. I mean what more could a customer want. And I must speak of the sandwich build itself the people back there fixing the sandwiches doing awesome job because the sandwiches and other restaurants are often just thrown together everything slides off of them when you open the bag and all that but these the sandwiches are very neatly organized with a perfect amount of condiments lettuce tomato and whatever not too much not too little always just the right amount. And I often order my double quarter pounder no pickles no onions and more importantly no salt on the beef and it's gotten to the point where they hear my voice and know what I'm going to order and it's no time and they have my sandwich ready and it's absolutely perfect each and every time. So if there's anyone out there that has any complaints about the restaurant you need to let the manager know and I promise you she will get it fixed without hesitation and with a smile. So I give this restaurant five stars with a plus. read more

Absolutely the worst McDoanld's we've ever experienced. I have yet to speak with anyone that had anything good to say about this establishment. The staff is rude and incompetent. Several that I know have called the owner, but nothing ever changes. Your better served by bypassing this one and waiting until Monroe to get your Big Mac. read more

I come here for breakfast sometimes and lately my coffee hasn't been the best. I added whipped cream or caramel to my drink and they forget it. I pay the extra fee for adding it too. Service horrible if you come at night and the drive thru is crazy. As for the atmosphere...Last time I ordered food here they sent out a girl who didn't know what she was doing and she apologized to me. She was in tears! I told her I knew the food industry is hard and don't let it bring her down! This is temporary! Poor girl. Managers need to do better and support their staff better. It's 10 o'clock on a sunday. The 29th of August. Maybe they will do something about the drive thru lady and her nasty and unnecessary attitude. She called me the b word cause I was reassuring that it was my order she was handing me, refused to open the window when I wanted to ask for napkins and a straw. Refused. I will never come back nor recommend this place because of this rude lady. Deserves to be fired in my opinion. Can't believe this is the kind of service that McDonald's chooses to have in their window. read more

This McDonald's suxs they are slow and I mean slow ... so do not go through drive through if I could have given a zero I would have

Simply wanted a spicy mcrispy meal and spicy mcrispy sandwich-only (2 sandwiches, 1 fry, 1 drink) along with 2 burgers and another order of fries. Employee was not understanding the spicy mcrispy orders and continued to make mistakes on the screen. We finally got frustrated, gave up and just took whatever they put in the bags and paid what they told us to. Ended up with 1 spicy mcrispy meal, 1 regular mcrispy meal, 1 sandwich-only mcrispy, our burgers and order of fries. Basically, an extra meal we didn't want, and a sandwich we didn't want. Then, the chicken sandwiches were all still cold and one even frozen, on the inside. So gross! But the worst was when we pulled up to get the food, we expressed concern that we had extra food we didn't order and still paid for, and that we weren't confident it was correct at all. The employee response... "oh well". "Oh well"?!?! What kind of response and customer service is that? Never again will we go to this location. The employees that we dealt with were rude, careless and didn't care one bit that we were getting charged over $10 more than we should for an order that was prepared poorly and incorrectly. This place has terrible service. They were terribly rude when asking for our order. Not only that, they didn't even have salad, Hi-C, and even milkshake. The Sprite was expired and they didn't even bother putting the "out of order" sign on it and not to mention, the fries were also stale. Nevertheless, I recommend you guys not to come to this McDonalds. Everything is better than this place. read more

This is fast food but seriously the nicest McDonald's I've ever been to. Took a break here while traveling with our 5 and 2 year old daughters. The cashier greeted us with play glasses and stickers and waited for us to get our orders together. The manager helped get our order together and made sure that the girls got their prizes. Food was made to order and another employee carried our food to the table for us. Everyone we encountered had a smile and was eager to help. read more

Was told by Manager that this would be the last time she openes the register to do a refund due to products they had on menu that ran out. Manager was ver rude to the customers as well as her employee's However Manger Dooley was the only one with Professionalism at this time. could use more like her.
