My mom and I were visiting this place after a long day at school and me helping my karate sensei by teaching part of the class, and we got in the drive thru. We were the only ones there. Then, a lot of other people started pouring in the drive thru. We waited to order, but the drive thru lady said to wait a minute before we ordered. Then, we could hear the voice of her taking other people's orders. MAY I REMIND YOU, we were there first. Me and mom started trash talking the drive thru lady (remember that). Then we finally ordered our meals, and the guy at the window in front of us was taking a while, but finally we got our food. But when I looked in the bag... my fries were UPSIDE DOWN! Now, remember the thing I told you to remember. Yeah, I think she heard us trash talking her, and put my fries in upside down. Staff was hateful, the wait time was way longer than it should be. They will not run the food out to you unless they have everyone that is waiting order. So we waited 10 minutes to get McDonald's drive-through once we were passed the pick up window. However, three cars behind us got their food in five minutes. Every single table in the dining room is filthy. There are two piles of dead flies on the window ledge and ones bench seat at table 107, seven total flies. I have the pictures. A few weeks ago, I guess a district manager popped in during the breakfast service to verbally dog the staff out (loudly) because the dining room and drive through were packed. I didn't appreciate witnessing that. If they made a mistake it needs to be correcte, but they didn't deserve to be degraded because business was booming. The only reason I am commenting today is because of the previous incident and to say where is that energy right now? Hardly a soul in the dining room and the drive through is somewhat steady but minimal. One guy who isn't even the manager is the only one who seems to be trying to maintain some semblance of order. This location was friendly and efficient in the drive through at 7am on Tuesday this week. The order taker was easy to communicate with at the drive thru menu boards. Traveling through the area and elected to stop by this iconic restaurant. Used the app to place an order due to the Kiosk being down. Ordered two cheeseburgers and no pickles and french fries with on salt. Received my order and consumed the burger and then tried a fry. Yes, it had salt. Returned to the counter and waited for someone to come to the counter. Explained the issue. Consumed my second burger that was now cold. French fries showed up with no apologies or comments. Recently I have been thinking about why stores and restaurants have added more self-serve kiosks and eliminated staff. After visiting McDonald's this past weekend, I now know why. The people that work at these establishments are vile and completely rude and no one wants to interact with them. It is now better to give your order to a screen or robot than to deal with one of these young self-loathing "humans". How sad. The zombie at the cash register did manage to mumble my order total and I did have what I ordered shoved at me by someone from the back. There were no condiments or ice at the drink station, and I think the greasy floor might have actually been cleaner than the tables. I am McFinished with this restaurant. read more

Zero stars if it was an option. This McDonald's is the WORST!!! Took our food over 10 minutes we watched the screen fulfilled orders that were after ours. The staff were standing, gossiping, and eating as they packed the food items into bags. Specifically heard one employee state to the rest "that's not a 10 pack nugget I took four out to make a four pack."She then proceeded to put food in her mouth as she made burgers. Once our food was ready they didn't even check the order as we didn't get our drink cups and had to ask for them. Nobody was maintaining the dinning area. Tables were dirty floors were dirty, filthy, and sticky. Soda dispensers were out of ice and some of the soda were just water. Bathrooms had "wet floor" signs but it definitely did not look like anything was cleaned recently. This place is poorly managed. Tried three hand sanitizer dispensers and all were empty. The absolute rudest staff I've ever encountered. Driving from Georgia to Illinois, our group stopped for a quick meal. When our group received 12 out of 14 sandwiches, they refused to give us the remaining cheeseburgers. We were told that our food was put on the tray and that we would need to repurchase the others.... we pulled out our receipt to check and count. After verifying what we were charged for, the manager angrily went to the back of the store to never return. The staff eventually slide 2 more sandwiches on the counter. It was a very odd encounter and handled very poorly. read more

The McDonalds on Hinkleville Rd in Paducah is subpar. The food is inconsistent coming out of a cookie cutter kitchen. On 2 occasions, my credit card was billed twice for one order, the second of the 2 orders had 4 hamburgers, 3 of those burgers were not made to customer specifications. What does "No onions" mean to a reasonably intelligent person? One burger had cheese, an identical burger had no cheese but had onions, one burger had no pickles. Where is the consistency? On the second occasion also, there was a tornado warning and my phone told me to take immediate shelter. I informed the manager and she did not know what to do in a weather related emergency. I informed her that the cooler or the men's restroom were the safest places. She had to call her area manager to confirm that. How did this person acquire a position of responsibility with employees lives in her charge? The next night I tried to get a refund on the subpar food that was billed to me twice. I received a refund for the double charges but not refunded for the bad experience of poorly constructed burgers. I have been grilling for 20 years, and that level of incompetence should be shocking, but a manger who is incompetent can't demand excellence from her employees. My wife and I work with local restaurants and this restaurant needs a 'fixer'. Update 3/24/2018, I have never heard a drive thru attendant taking our order say,"uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" while ringing up our order, she mis entered my wife's order and did not include requested condiments. This is the fourth straight day we went there. My girlfriend wanted to give them ONE MORE chance! We did, we went, they failed!! They got our order wrong again this morning!!!!! They did not give us the one cream in the medium coffee or the two creams in the large coffee!!! They didn't get our food right either! Try this one on for size!!! Bathroom was very clean... Restaurant was clean.... food decent (it's a McDonald's after all)... staff friendly ... close to the highway
