Like many other sad travelers that have stopped by this woebegone McDonald's establishment, merely hoping for a "quick" bite to eat from a "fast" food place, we too have fallen victims of this awful place. Firstly, app did not work at the unmanned kiosk so we placed our own order without it. Then, it took an EXTREMELY long time to get our food at the counter while the clerk did a little dance and watched the line get longer and longer. Finally, the food came out stone cold and the fries were soggy and bad. They did give us an extra unpaid for Big Mac, but who really wants it. Could not eat any of this sorry crap. read more

We happened to stop in on our way home. McDonald's is a great road trip food, but as with most fast food, it can be hit and miss. Well, we got there right as the lunch rush started. It was very busy, but seemed to run smoothly. We ordered our food, grabbed a number and sat down. It only took about 5 minutes and the woman brought our food over with a smile. Also, I need to say the store was very clean, that's another positive thing. The first thing I have to say is, the fries were fresh, hot and salty. It's not always the case, we've all gotten the lukewarm fries, not really crispy anymore, but these were perfect, we couldn't slow down. That was great, our hamburgers were great. Crap hole of 40 year olds who can't speak English, read or write thinking this is a job they should be able to live off of, their attitude reflects that. One must beg them to work, don't expect a smile, a how can I help you, or have a nice day. Just a vacant thousand mile stare as you approach the counter. Most don't even look at you, they look left, right, seemingly looking for someone they are waiting on to walk in, or a scene they are focused on in the lobby, anything but you, the customer, 2 feet in front of them. Your order will be wrong. And your food cold. After spending $20-$50 for you and a friend, you'll vow to never return, but you always will in some form, be it a Burger King, chipotle, Wendy's, etc. All the same, hiring the lowest IQ non verbal with a myriad of mental and intellectual disabilities. Not to be insensitive about those with true disabilities, the blessed these businesses, but we're talking those who were passed from grade to grade and unable to read or write by their senior year, bc they're all gonna get into the NBA, become rappers, or at least tik tok, famous, so this is just their day job till they blow up, so don't inconvenience them too much by ordering food or expecting them to be open for service up until closing time. They often times will lock up and quit taking orders an hour before they close, or just for a couple hours here and their if they need a break and a nap if they are a 24 hour joint. read more

To the lady working the drive thru on Friday July 26th 2024 around 330pm, you should find another line of work. Customer Service is not for you. I asked for a basket of fries that was on the menu. When I finished my entire order, I reviewed on the screen. She had put in two large fries. I said that I had ordered a large fry and a basket of fries. She said we don't have a basket of fries. I said okay it's on your menu. She responded with an attitude "Wow". I said nothing else and proceeded to the window. She never told me the total or thank you for your business. Honestly the worst hamburgers we've ever had at a McDonalds. We stopped on a trip home, and we ordered a quarter pounder and a cheese burger. The patties must have been on the grill overnight. Stopped at this location in the middle of an 8 hour drive to get myself a cheeseburger and nuggets for my two dogs. The girl with the ridiculous eyelashes at the pay window had a major attitude and took her time chatting with a coworker while I sat there waiting for my change. I was very polite and said thank you when I got my change but got no acknowledgement whatsoever. Whatever..went to next window, got my food and she was polite. Get back on the interstate and took a bite of my burger and the bun was crunchy. Took another bite and it tasted like a crunchy piece of ketchup. I opened the burger and there was NO MEAT. How do you forget to put the hamburger in a friggin HAMBURGER?? It's bad enough to jack up somebody's food (on purpose in my opinion) but I am diabetic and had taken insulin for that food. I had to eat my dogs nuggets so I didn't bottom out while driving down the interstate. Judging from all the bad reviews and my experience the managers aren't managing, they just show up for the paycheck. read more

When is order was ready , the McDonalds employee , handed him a chocolate sundae, he kindly asked if they didn't have Strawberry? She didn't understand what he was asking , so he again kindly stated "I ordered a strawberry Sundae , not chocolate as he was handing her the sundae back , the employee actually said , " I can ring another one up for if you want a strawberry ". I did stop eating at Mc Donald's for 3 months and this morning I decided to have breakfast and I wanted to ordered 2 x $4.00 sausage egg and cheese McMuffin promotion, I always ask to other stores to switch the fried egg for scramble eggs no problem - here the manager told me she cannot do that cause is a different kind of egg and if I wanted I have to pay extra then I said to myself egg is an egg is my preference for scramble simple as that nothing complicated unless I order egg whites, so I didn't want to get into arguments with her besides she had fake long eyelashes heavy make up and cheap perfume, I thought I was at the freaking circus then I decided to order the big breakfast with no pancakes it was a surprise to me when I saw my big breakfast and I told her the order says big breakfast that means you add a little more scramble eggs into the plate order, she told me that's how it is so my conclusion is simple no problem from now and on I will go more to Burger King or Wendy's and the only thing I'll get from Mc Donald's it will be my coffee only! read more

Excellent location right off the interstate, but be prepared to wait. I think the guy at the window must have been running the whole show because it took 26 minutes to get our order. Everyone in the drive thru had to wait, as well as the customers inside. We were directed to park in spot #1 and that our food would be out in 3 minutes. Funny enough, the manager (Earle was the name on his shirt) was standing outside next to my car scrolling through his phone having a cigarette. While I have no issue with employees taking breaks, the manager should have noticed the back up inside and outside of the store and went in to help the poor guy that seemed to be doing everything. It was so frustrating because we were traveling and that was a waste of valuable drive time for us. read more

There is a bacteria issue at the McDonalds on Store #20147 located at 4150 Hwy 32 E Ocala, Fl. Order # 88 @ 4;18PM. I requested the Big maC made fresh, it was not. The patties were room temperature and the cheese was not melted. It tasted oddly. The side salad had wilted lettuce and the tomatoes were discolored. I ate it because I was very hungry and in a rush. The next day I knew I had food poisoning. I had a fever and diarrhea. I have been sick for the past 2 days after eating at this Mcdonalds. This has not happened before but I suspected this restaurant has issues due to the overall cleanliness of this restaurant. read more

I stopped in at this location for breakfast several months ago. around 7AM. Waited I would say around 4 minutes, no greeting so I said "good morning" still no response. So I then drove up to the first window. no one was there. Then I drove to the second window and said "good morning". I mentioned that something may be wrong with their intercom. They told me nothing was wrong and they then could not take my order. I explained that I had tried to get someone's attention. They did not care told me to go back around.
