They refused to make us our breakfast order even though we paid for it before they stopped serving breakfast. once i paid you money, at that point my food is owed to me and i expect it to be made at that time....not when i arrive. if you have to be standing in the store before 10:30 then you should not allow people to order breakfast on the mobile app right up until 10:30. it is completely idiotic to be allowed to order breakfast at 10:15 on the app and then be turned away because you arrived at 10:31 read more

Food quality , food quantity and pricing absolutely sucks. My mom wanted a hot fudge sundae from McDonalds. $3.59 for a tiny cup of melted soft serve provided by a rude employee from the drive thru window. I should have tossed it in the parking lot . I rarely go to McDonalds and have heard of their pricing increases but it never registered until I went there for my mom. Nothing like waiting for and getting a melted sundae for a stupid expensive price. Maybe they should start charging to use the bathroom and parking. read more

Went inside to order food and eat. Line moved very slow. Good was also slow to make. Asked for a Big Mac no cheese and a plain double cheese burger. They messed up the cheese burger by adding all the ingredients. Had to wait for them to remake it. They appeared very lost on the floor. They forgot who the remake sandwich goes to so they left it there until we asked for it. By the time I ate my sandwich it was barely warm since we eat together. No employees were smiling or happy with their customer interaction. As a side note, weird that the handicap stall in the ladies restroom has you reaching way over your head for toilet paper. Some may not be able to reach. There's a McDonald's everywhere. Skip this one and go to the next. read more

Today, my wife and I ordered breakfast at the drive thru at the Oberlin McDonald's. There were two different things that were aggravating . The first and most outrageous was the price we were charged for an order of 2 scrambled eggs. $5 is just way too much for the little amount of eggs. Then after paying and moving up to the pickup window, we were asked to pull around and wait for our order to be prepared. It's approximately 9:22 pm here In Oberlin my family and I are hungry and wanted some food. I'm currently serving in the military and am only visiting for a short period of time. With that being said we just wanted a quick bite to eat and we're treated with the upmost disrespect! Not to mention the food was ice cold, the fries were soggy, sandwiches were not correct. There was a young lady in the back cash register chewing ice and not giving customers the time of day, she didn't even let a word out of my mouth without being rude & acting like I disrupted her from doing something way more important. She then told me to pull up to the second window, and insured it was being taken care of. There was an older lady with glasses at the next window window and she was clueless to the dilemma; when I tried to inform her because her subordinates didn't inform her, she got a very rude and abrupt attitude. I was concerned and very disappointed with the leadership, and subordinate qualities displayed. What really made me upset with this particular McDonald's is this is my hometown and would think some parts of this unraveling society still is/ would be fully equipped with love and hospitality. read more

Awesome! Came here for a quick lunch. Had Kristine take care of me, and she made my order perfect! I went with the Southwestern Salad (no animal products left on) and something was strange about it- there was a glaze! Well, she helped me find the glaze is vegan friendly! This is one of the worst mcdonalds I've ever been too, often the mayo and other toppings are in one clump, not spread across the bun, they close early for no reason and screw up orders all the time, also i ask them to serve fresh fries and instead I get soggy old ones they just put more salt on, go up 58 to amherst for a real 24 hours experience that is standardized. read more

I stopped here on a bike ride to grab a water. It was ten minutes before 11:00 on a Sunday. There seemed to have been a little bit of a rush, but I saw what seemed to be ample staff behind the counter. Do not let numbers fool you. It was the most unorganized restaurant, maybe even event, that I have ever witnessed. Just like any McDonald's, but a great place to get away from campus and students. If you live in Old B and you're a student, check it out, it's not far. This is the kind of McDonald's that does everything in its power to convince you it doesn't value your business. They charge 25 cents for water cups even though the pop machine is behind the counter, and even the ketchup is behind the counter this morning. (They gave me just one packet per hash brown upon request.) It is a respite from students and college personnel for those on the town side of the town/gown split. But personally I'm not a huge fan of fast food places that go out of their way to communicate their tightfisted distrust of people coming through the door. read more

Food is ok. Average McDonald's food. Prices are crazy high. They explain that they are privately owned so can charge what they want. Prices are about 25% higher than other Mcdonald locations in the area. We rarely stop here. The one in Wellington gets our business. I believe in their right to charge whatever they wish.
