Pathetic. I was planning a huge event, drove through for 2 sausage biscuits to eat on the road and when I opened them they were just crumbles! I mean you couldn't even call this a biscuit! It was pieced together. Just trash. If you are serving through the drive through you should know most people are eating on the road and this would have destroyed your clothes and your car. I went to McDonald's and payed about $20 for me and my partners meal, which may I say is crazy for McDonald's, no longer fast food cheap. When I payed for my meal and received it, we asked for some sauce because it's never an issue when I do but this time was different, we got one but since we have two means with large fries we needed two but we were rudely served by a women who had no problem being nasty when we asked so kindly, saying to pay for a small sauce packet that didn't cost them anything to give us, I didn't enjoy my meal since I didn't have much sauce and wasn't gonna pay for something that should be free on a order that was $20, as a loyal customer who goes almost every week for the past 10 years I did not appreciate the service I got. read more

The Oak Ridge McDonald's is always busy. People in. NW Guilford county love their fast food. Everyone is always very friendly. It's clean inside. The double drive through is constantly moving and you never have to wait long. Food is served hot. My only tip- double check your bag before leaving. I've been here many times and it's one of my favorite McDonald's. Usually the only issue we have is with the app and how it'll disappear before we can put the curbside number in. So we'll have to go in and let them know and they'll get a little irritated. Not their fault not ours. Tonight however, I could have had to go to the emergency room. I always order no onions due to an allergy. On the burger's wrapper, it clearly says "no onions". I go to take a bite and notice a little fleck of something on my cheese. Lo and behold, onions are all over the burger. I'm so glad I noticed and didn't take the bite. If something clearly says it shouldn't have something on it, it shouldn't have said thing on it. So me and my family went inside the establishment and we ordered mobile and we get our food fries were overly cooked due to nasty grease we asked the manager for fresh fries when we got the fries they were still overly cooked. The manger says the grease was changed 2 days ago . Also we didn't get clean lids and they were out of tea at the front out of large lids and we did not get any condiments we asked for. Where to begin, the number of times I've called to tell you the food was UNDERCOOKED , MOLDED, EXPIRED, and INCORRECT and have been HUNG UP ON, Is incredible. I have never once in my life had an issue like this one before and I understand the fact that having the right amount of faculty to work in the morning is an issue but it was ridiculous. I ask my coworker if she would like a coffee before work and I will go pick it up and be there "early" to work. I work in the shopping center right next to this McDonald's so I thought it wouldn't take me but maybe five or six minutes to get the breakfast and go but no it ended up being 35 minutes of a wait and not getting food. I pulled into the take out line there were three cars a lot ahead of me one person's order was being taken on the opposite take out line. Soon the car pulls up and all the cars pull Up with it nothing else happens for 15 minutes, I waited and people start pulling out of the lines. After 35 minutes of waiting in line I finally drove off and went to work. I ended up door dashing me and my manager's coffee to where we work at and it even came from the same McDonald's location and we got it within 15 minutes. It is safe to say to just order your food and not wait in line any more. Outrageous. read more

My son and I stopped in the last weekend for lunch after going to the movies. It was fairly busy but the staff is incompetent and do not pay attention to detail. My son order a #2 - 2 Cheeseburgers and a chocolate shake. Guess what we got one cheeseburger and I had to make a fuss about it and one of the employees made a snotty remark that I had to order the meal to get the second cheeseburger. I replied that is not what your menu board says. The manager on duty came over and got me a second cheeseburger. This was my first time at this establishment and may be a long while before or if I ever go back there even though I live right down the street. I can't believe I'm giving a McDonald's location more than 2 stars. But this one is usually pretty clean. The wifi works. There's a good variety of seating so you can be alone with your work if that's what you're there to do, or you can enjoy family seating. But the food is still low grade McDonald's food of dubious origin and with low nutritional value and poor freshness. Wendy's is right across the street and beats McDonald's by a good increment on food quality, yet for some reason we find ourselves at the golden arches. I strictly only eat here under duress, when I have to be somewhere in like 15 minutes and have no time to eat anywhere else. But I did want to at least give them props for making a little more effort with the restaurant space itself. The food is still crap. The staff is often ... less than engaged. I've occasionally going to this MacDonald's for almost two-years now and what sets it apart for me is the Customer Service and the Cleanliness. It's nice to enter a fast food chain and be greeted with a smile and to see that everyone is smiling. Restrooms and are clean and they have someone who cleans up the trash in the parking lot left behind by pigs. There is a MacDonald's closer to me, but I won't go there. So, just got done eating here, typical Mickey D's cuisine! The issue was that I had to ask for a new drink cup!!! Girl at the check out is in charge of handing them out after she takes your money and basically touches everything on the counter and the cash register!! So this being said, you would think she would have been instructed to hold the cup on the outside near the bottom! Spent almost $9 on fries for my kids only to get home 20 minutes away and realize they didn't give us the fries. (It happens, i get that). I called to get this situation resolved (being VERY nice) and this is the part that got me upset... one of the lady managers on duty who answered the phone was very rude and said she was busy and did not understand that i was not able to just drive back and get them wasting my gas and time. She then hung up on me, I called back 31 times only to get through on the 32nd time because the line was busy. Another manager answered, Keith, who was VERY kind and helpful, helped me resolve the situation. Thank you Keith! And to the rude, unhelpful, very inconsiderate lady who made someone else deal with the situation, you should probably learn better customer service skills considering you call yourself a manager and deal with customers everyday. Well, this marks the 3rd time in a row now that my breakfast order has been wrong. A few months ago, they were doing a good job and the breakfast biscuits were good.
