I finally tried Wendy's breakfast and it was very good and very affordable. The staff was very friendly and offered the current specials which I did take advantage of. I got the two for $3.00 special which was a sausage biscuit and the killer breakfast potato wedges. They had other choices, that is just what I chose. My husband got a croissant breakfast combo. Our total was under 10.00 ! Yes. You can't get two meals under 10.00 anywhere these days so if you haven't tried Wendy's breakfast what are you waiting for? read more

Ordered through drive thru today and the service was terrible. No one was friendly. They don't say hello may I take your order or welcome to Wendy's. Instead it was "what's your order". Pulled to the first window to pay, lady with short red hair was there. She did not read back our order, didn't say hello, no smile nothing. Pulled to next window for the food. Same type of service, no smile, no hello. They got out wrong, but we didn't complain because it was obvious no one cared at this location. Lastly the food was not good. Worst Wendy's we have had. Food was not hot and tasted old. Not sure if we came at the wrong time of day, Saturday at 3:30p? But the reviews saying positive service is very odd because this was the worst. read more

This Wendy's is having a less than ideal day today. First I arrive and find the main door locked with a young lady employee on the phone trying to get someone to open the door. Including myself there were two seniors waiting to get in when I suggested to the employee that she could go around to the other door quicker than getting someone else to open the door. She thought it was a good idea and said WE could go around. Really!! I suggested that she should go around instead of making customers walk all that way. The food I ordered was good, but the service was absolutely the worst I've had in a long time. The young lady walked up to take my order without a smile or could I help you sir. I asked if she was ready for my order. She said yes. My wife told her there were no ketchup cups. I ordered online for pickup because the drive thru line was way too long and my short amount of time for lunch. When I went to pick it up all the doors were locked so I called and they told me I still had to go through the drive thru. What's the point of ordering online then? They should advertise that when you order online you can only get it through the drive thru. Or just open your building for takeout would be helpful? read more

How come this Wendy's say's it has competitive pay when the don't? McDonald's across the street pay 11.00 an hour for part time and 13.00 an hour for full time when Wendy's only pays 9.00 an hour. Also they don't value their their employees since there is no scheduled raise for being there for a while. I worked at this Wendy's for a year and final asked for a raise which was only .50 cents. If they want their store to change then they should pay people competitive pay and they will stay longer. read more

This is my local Wendy's where I am a frequent customer due to the convenience. However, I don't think my order has been correct the last 8 times I made a drive-in order. Today my UN-Sweet tea had sugar in it so I had to toss it. My large Apple Pecan salad came with no pecans and only one small dressing package. I ordered two Dave's Double sandwiches and got one single and one double in the bag. The order is always shorted in some way. You need to check your bag carefully before leaving the drive-up window. read more

Since Wendy's is near my house, it's a quick fix for dinner in a hurry when we're not feeling McDonalds. I've been there a handful of times since I've moved to Oak Ridge and I'm not impressed. Every single time I have been, I have had to wait to place my order. And I'm not talking about 10 people in line in front of me. The last time we had a family of 3 ordering in front of us. They ordered, and we stood there for 5-6 minutes before they even took our order. The time before that we waited 5 minutes to place an order with no one in front of us, but then waited 15 minutes to get our food. At that rate, I might have well just sat down at a neighboring restaurant and at least had a waitress bring me my food and refill my drink. The food is always subpar. I'm continually disappointed in the new foods and treats they advertise. Flaunting the new mozzarella chicken supreme as their regular chicken sandwich, but now with mozzarella. Oreo "milkshake" while you send a search party in to find the Oreos. And the caramel apple dessert, just terrible. I would never go back except that we get coupons every once in a while and one of the kids likes it. read more

Tonight April 11th 2017 8:00pm My daughter & I went into Wendy's in Oak Ridge N.C. The place was dirty. Food on the floor under tables. All table tops dirty. Top of trash bins were gross. Employee's carrying on conversations about someone at work cussing another worker. Another employee had come in with her boyfriend. They were loud and talking across the room with the girl @ the register. There was no sign of management in the building. If so, he was not doing a good job. One girl came out from behind the counter and started to wipe a few tables after I complained. She stopped to talk to the other employee with her boyfriend. She ended up going to get them something else to eat. There is so much turn over in this store. read more

We stopped here for dinner on the way back from shopping in Stokesdale one evening and the place was hopping. Based on that I figured it must be a great place, wrong! My guess now is the crowd was because there are so few other choices nearby. The service to order was slow, and I had a hard time explaining that Mary just wanted the small plain cheeseburger without fries. Finally an assistant manager had to come over and ring that tough order up, no pictures for that combo I guess. Mine was a standard grouping so that went okay. Then we waited, and waited. They were so busy taking orders and collecting money, no one was checking for the orders that were up and filling them. When our order was finally ready and we unwrapped the hastily wrapped burgers they were not warm, not cold, but far from hot. And my fries were definitely the scrapping of the bottom of the pan, small and cold. We choose this place over McDonald's because it is usually much better, but not this location, at least on this night. Oak Ridge Wendy's is the WORST reoccurring experience I've ever had at any fast food establishment. Moved here a few years ago and I LOVE Wendy's. This location a few years ago was great, but now it is constantly HORRIBLE and it's the lackadaisical and utterly moronic and careless staff. Not all of them, but most. The quality of service and product has slipped and hard. Cold fries that never fill the box. If you ask for no mayo, they add extra mayo and forget the cheese. If you ask for sweet tea you get unsweet tea. My wife and I take bets on what they will screw up before we go and one of always wins. What happened is my question? This place used to be flawless and the people who worked there were helpful and downright nice. It has increasingly declined and I've actually stopped going there. Don't go there. It will ruin your impression of Wendy's. If you drive down the road a little try Backyard Burgers. For a few bucks more, you will be in burger heaven. Still not as good as the old Wendy's though... Stop sucking Wendy's Oak Ridge, take some pride in your job!!! Management should be flogged. Owner needs a wake up call. This place sucks as is. read more

I'm leaving a bad review for two reasons. The first one is I did not get a receipt even after I asked for it. I paid $14 for a Junior bacon cheeseburger, regular Wendy's single, 2 small fries with a small drink and a medium. I thought that was a little high so when I pulled up to the window I ask for my receipt. The man at the window started reading me off my order and the gal behind him was helping him read what was on the monitor but I still just wanted to know what was on the receipt. She handed me my food with a very dirty look and said the meal costs seven dollars. I thought that was strange they would not give me my receipt And I still feel they overcharged me so that's what prompted me to leave this review. It wouldn't have been so bad if the food wasn't terrible! We usually have really good service at this Wendy's but our burgers were cold and the fries were hard as a rock. One of the small fries literally had 11 fries in it with several tiny little slivers of fries on the bottom. read more

This Wendy's is awesome. I go here all the time and always get friendly service. The one time I was here and I had to wait for parts of my meal, they gave me a complimentary frosty as apology for the wait. Even though lunch just started we had trouble finding a clean table. The equipment in the bathroom was in disrepair which was surprising for a restaurant that seemed pretty new. There were no food issues but the ketchup dispensers were broken or empty and we had to ask for ketchup packets. read more
