I'm giving this 2 stars because of the manager working on 10-01-22 at 2:30pm she had a really bad attitude with not just me other Coustomer's that also agreed with me after I said very rude so she can hear me and collect her self and change her attitude but no she did not care and had the same attitude all the time I was there waiting for my food. If your having a bad day or don't want to work then don't go to work or find your self a place to work alone with no Coustomer's. I've been here multiple times but I have not been here since they remodeled the place. This remodel is really nice and looks more modern and aesthetic for the 21st century. That's the only thing that's changed. Food is still bland, parking is at least reasonable. You now get to order touching a screen because McDonald's is cutting down costs. read more

To all the Karens and Darens posting complaint logs about this place: hears a spoon. Find a wide open smelly and hairy butt to eat out of. I am actually quite shocked at how uneducated and mean and rotten some people who live around here in the area are. I work in Elgin, live across the street from this place. I never worked here, nor am I treated like a king when I arrive, pay, and receive my orders. I am also not treated like a vegabond. (For the uneducated and highly sensitive emotional "corporate callers", look up that word if you don't know it's meaning.) These people who work at this McDonalds are extremely busy. Anyone who works at a McDonalds off of Cicero Ave, I applaud you. The freaking Avenue is like the Autobahn. I'm sure there are over 1,000 cars that cross over the intersection at 91st and Cicero per every 10 minutes right where I live for example. Midway airport is close by, and this place gets packed with hungry people. It's quite unfortunate that so many Karens exist. For those of you who don't know what a "Karen" is, it's a privileged, stuck up, "*huff* well I NEVER!!!" type person who gets hurt and offended and mean at the drop of a dime if the universe doesn't notice them and bend to their will. God forbid you forget to smile at one of them, or pet their offspring, because if you do, your ears will fall off from the rot of hearing all the s%@# they talk. Now, enough about the reviewers of this McDonalds, again as I was saying this place gets pretty busy and sometimes they may or may not notice me and give me pamper, but I always get my food and if I have a problem they correct it. To the employees who work here: you may not always smile and wave, but I know what you're going through and you always tell me "thank you and have a nice day" and that means the world right there. I appreciate all your hard work and your hands in feeding the seemingly entire state of Illinois. I have been living here for almost 3 years and thank you for your service. The fast food industry might be quick to hire but working an establishment like this is NOT EASY. We should seriously remove all the Karen's husbands, children, minivans, and edgey haircuts for awhile and make them work at a place like this and see how they like it. I typically would never leave a review for McDonald's or any other large chain, however I had a great experience at this location. I just had to try the new spicy chicken McNuggets! I ordered 6 spicy chicken McNuggets, a McDouble with extra pickles and a medium fry. Well, the spicy chicken McNuggets were so good that I had to stop for another 6. When I went to another location, they didn't include any ketchup or any sauce. The nuggets were still great, however I didn't feel like they were as attentive or thoughtful. Pathetic excuse of customer service! I got Stuck working late at my job delivering pizzas and my daughter got dropped off to me because my wife works overnights at 11pm I got off at 12:15 and my 8 year old stated she was hungry, asked what she wanted and stated chicken nuggets! So we stop please note on video that was our 3rd go around "frank" finally starts having employees taking orders and extremely ignorant saying we short staffed! This McDonald's used to be my favorite one. Not anymore. I waited on the drive through calling out to the speaker for like 5 minutes. No one answers: I circle the restaurant and see two employees. One of them, looking like the manager on duty is playing on his phone at the counter. The other one was changing garbage and cleaning. I called the restaurant and got an employee who said they were not open for another 15 - 20 minutes. I thought that this was 24 hrs. Terry Amanda and Kim in the kitchen made me the best Felix sandwich in the world , iv been through 129 McDonald's through out the United States being a designer and senior advisor for TripAdvisor.com and these 3 employees made my Deluxe sandwich perfectly, it's not dry, the bun was perfectly warm and the mayonnaise mustard and ketchup was put on perfectly along with the tomato . and the dining room tenant who cleaned this dining room is Patricia. Very poor customer service. I'm seeing workers walk past, looking at me as I'm standing at the register. No one says anything to me at all. Not a one moment nothing. Oh man. This McD's is a hot mess. Every single time I've gone there has been a problem LMAO 1) CC machine is down EVERY single morning, so if you want breakfast you'd better have cash (what's cash?)... 2) They never have french fries ready, so you will have to wait. 3) They never have any chicken ready, so you will have to wait. 4) Because you have to wait, the rest of your order will be cold. 5) You have a 50/50 chance that your order will be right LOL The sad part is that I continue to go for two reasons: 1) I live down the street and it's the only thing open 24 hrs 2) I continually convince myself that maybe this time they will get it right....(and they never have...lol) But I swear, I'm never going again!... I end up going here because it is close to home. Sometimes the food is OK, more often than not it is messed up. Today I ordered a LG iced caramel mocha. I have gotten it here before and the drink reached the top and then the dome was full of whipped cream and caramel drizzle. Today it didn't reach the top, the drink wasn't mixed at all, and how did the little bit of whip in there already all melt. It seriously looked like I got someone's old drink. So gross. This McDonald's is a joke. The night manager Frank is an even bigger joke. I honestly do not know how he still works there. Second day in a row I was ignored at the drive thru speaker. First day was at about midnight, Second day around 1:30 am. I drove around the building a couple times and saw him in there, with no head set on just leaning on the counter. I'll start by saying how disappointed I am. I could always deal with some rudeness but today I couldn't do it. I just left the restaurant about 15 minutes ago because of an employee named "Micah". There's not many restaurants I have left due to employee attitude. I have 3 family members that have been in corporate McDonald's for as long as I've known, I've even been to the McDonald's conventions multiple times. So I understand how your employees should represent themselves. She was extremely rude at the drive thru window as I had my one year old son in the car. I felt uncomfortable enough to leave and go to another location. I will most certainly share this with my corporate relations cause this ultimately comes down to management for allowing an employee to act in this nature. I will not return to this location even though it is most convenient to my home. I'd would much rather take the drive then deal with this location again. Either employees can't read or they purposely get the order wrong to piss customers off. 9 out of 10 times my order is wrong. The managers don't want to correct the problem so I will be contacting corporate from now on. Sooner or later corporate will be tired of hearing from me and will get to the bottom of things. Let me tell you how bad this place sucks. There were about 5 employees and one manager in this place. Eight people were waiting at the counter. These Jackasses wouldn't even make eye contact. They were wizzin back and forth taking care of the drive-thru, like we weren't even there. 10 minutes later, I'm thinking to myself, why does this always happen to me? We went through the drive thru here for coffee on Sunday (6/9 @ 5:30 AM) on our way to O'Hare and were 'greeted' by a very rude Mary Ann. She was curt, huffed about and actually sucked her teeth when I displayed my App for her to scan. She did not say anything! I live close by and would rather go to the McDonalds on Kedzie & 103 for this very reason. At times it gets pretty full but 90% of the time, drive thru attendants are very pleasant.
