McDonald's always hits the spot, however, the service here at the drive through was incredibly slow and my meal was incorrect. Unfortunately, I hadn't realized until I had already left and pulled away. I got a Diet Coke instead of a root beer and the wrong size for my nuggets and fries. The fries were also very soggy and uncooked. I've always been and will always be a fan of McDonald's and am confident that this location and others can and will provide delicious, consistent food. The food, when it finally arrived at our table, was good - just exactly what I expected... the rest of the experience was probably the worst I have EVER had at a McDonald's. Had a difficult time finding an appropriate table. Most were dirty from previous users, or in the path of some serious ceiling leakage. There were at least five different tables that were unusable because the seats were wet. When the woman brought our food to our tale, she must have gotten splashed because she looked up at the ceiling and shook her head, like 'This isn't okay' but she did nothing. Not the manager, I guess. The restaurant was out of several things, including the frappes, which was a real bummer considering it was 90 degrees out and a frozen coffee concoction would have really hit the spot. They were supposedly out of the Grimace meal, but the people who came in around the same time as us got four. They were "out" of strawberry milkshake. Seems like there might have been something wrong with their freezer equipment, but my mother was able to get a frozen cola slushie, so there goes that theory. We used the kiosk, but the order didn't go through. So we waited about 15 minutes before my mom got up to question the people behind the counter. We had to resubmit our order and wait another 15 minutes. We could have ordered DoorDash from another McDonald's and had it delivered in that time. My boyfriend had the new (?) double quarter pounder with cheese, bacon and jalapenos, which he said was tasty. He also got a big mac and some nuggets. The container of mustard sauce he got for his nuggets looked like it had been stepped on several times. I always get the two cheeseburger deal, no pickles, but when the order got re-ordered there were pickles. And a lot of them. One sandwich had four, and raw onions. My mom got a fish sandwich. Like I said, the food was all up-to-snuff, but certainly not worth waiting as long as it would have taken if we had gone to a sit-down restaurant. "At least we won't have to leave a tip," said my mother. Needless to say, I do not recommend. There are many other McDonald's restaurants in the area. Try one of those. Bad service and poor customer relations. My mobile order payment went through and I had the mobile receipt as proof but it showed pending on their computer. I had a receipt as well as a bank withdrawal from McDonalds to prove it went through and the employee at the drive thru continued to argue and refused to give me the food I paid for. When I go to any restaurant l, I expect the food to be good and customer service to be remarkable since I am paying my money for the items they are selling. This McDonald's location had piss poor service and the food was awful. The "newly cooked" fries were not cooked thoroughly and when I brought it back to the cashier (assuming he is the manager), his mannerism was curt and not hospitable. REFUND PLEASE. As I waited, I witnessed how this man treated another customer. It was quite concerning. Clearly she had an order and waited patiently for him to give her, her order. As she waited, there were a couple of other patrons who ordered and received their meal before this young lady and her child. She calmly brought this to his attention and he was dismissive. I watched him ignore her complaint as she was talking. What kind of customer service is this? I know everyone has a bad day, but when working with the public all attitudes should be checked. I told the idiot that he overcharged me and after looking at the receipt he did not even place the correct order. Where do I start is the real question? When I first walked in all I could hear is the people in the back arguing with each other, which should've been my sign to leave. Because the workers and the manager looked busy,and angry, I decided to order off the kiosk. One of them was down, which is okay since they had 3 others. However upon placing my order no receipt came out. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but I was on a business trip and the company requires an itemized receipt for every purchase. After I placed my order I went to the front desk and asked for a receipt. It took them about 10 minutes to even acknowledge me, the only ones that tried to help were a younger Hispanic girl and a white lady that was cleaning and adding decorations to the bathroom door. After one worker came up and asked what I needed, I told her I needed a receipt and she said she didn't know how to do it so she said she would get another manager. After another 15 minutes she got her, and she was not having it. She was rude, I tried to explain to her what I needed and she cut me off, then she said she'd be back and I had to wait for another 45 minutes. I ended up leaving without it. Now I have to pay out if pocket, which is not much, but it's moral of it and how they just treated and made me feel like I was such a nuisance. Let alone all the side comments and side eyes I was getting from the back staff. I actually saw and heard one young man say "that machine ain't never Give receipts " while looking right at me. If it's a known problem, why not just put a little sign up that takes 10 seconds to write? This is just how they treated me, they were also really mean to everyone else that was there. The terrible service that Sherry experienced is inexcusable, but I have never experienced this behavior here. I personally come to this McDonalds instead of the one up by the corner of MD-43 & Honeygo (their food always sucks), as the food at the Campbell Blvd location is always fresh, plus they have a larger and more comfortable seating area. Now we all know that McDonalds food is not good for us but sometimes I have the urge to splurge on Mickey D's crispy thin fries and Hot Fudge Sundays...yum yum!! When my wife and I go we usually get one Deluxe Angus Burgers and share it. Yuppers, we share it.... there's enough calories with the 1/3 lb burger & medium fries to feed 3 or 4, and then we each have our own...(as in not sharing) hot fudge or hot caramel (Sheri's choice) sunday. So when we leave, we have still surpassed the normal calorie requirement of most people. Oh and we have spent less too...LOL!!! (Don't know if you remember the ad about getting a burger, small fry, and sm drink for under a buck, but I do). There is a plus here too... the Internet is free.... but not the power to run your laptop...so you better be fully charged!!! Instead, on my study days I will grab two regular cheeseburgers ($1.98 +tx) and run over to the Starbucks to have Coffee and use their power and Internet for school... I had ordered a mobile order and gone through the drive-through, and they were constantly confused about which order was mine, and then they sent me to a parking space for the drive-through. After a long, very long time somebody finally brought my order out, but did not give me my drink. They said that they would go back in and get me my drink, but I sat outside waiting for at least five minutes. I finally had to leave the parking spot, go inside, and pour my drink myself. I gave my grandson a McDonalds coupon book for Halloween that I purchased. The coupons were good from Nov 1 thru Dec 31. I took this little 3 year old boy for a special treat to use one of his coupons. We were told that we could not use the coupon because "this is a Halloween coupon and it ain't Halloween no more". I turned the coupon over and showed the man at the drive thru the dates of use on the back. He checked with a manager and told us that they don't accept the coupons! Needless to say, I had one disappointed little 3 year old. He could not use his coupon to 'buy' his treat. So much for buying your coupons and I'll NEVER be back to this McDonald's!
