never experienced kinder employees in my life. shout out to the funny guy at the window he's the goat. highly recommend this location.

Visiting someone nearby so we stopped here for the drive thru. Mobile app ordering was easy, like all the other places. Have our code and got the receipt. Want anyone ahead or behind us at the time but after getting our drinks and a couple Happy Meals they asked us to move to the railing ahead to wait. Pulled up and waited. As we did we saw several other cars cover in and they moved to the drive thru waiting spots and mobile order waiting spots. I took this as the team there wanted to push everyone they without getting their items at the window. It did take a little while before they came out with a large tray of bags. They had to ask what my order was to ensure I got the right bag. Bag contained our order so no complaints there, just the wait was longer and not sure why no one was given their items in the window. Especially since it really wasn't crowded. read more

McDonald's - Burgers Near Me - Norwich, Connecticut

The manager thinks they get an increase in their salary for charging 5$ for lettuce tomatoes and cheese. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Very dissatisfied. As of 3/26, there has been no response from this McDonald's. Really goes to show how little they care about their customers and their lack of dedication to their craft. read more

It doesn't seem to matter which McDonalds I go to, very seldom do they get my order right. There is always something missing: fries or sandwiches, or napkins & straw. It's very frustrating that we've even gone inside to rectify the error(s), but given the long lines, it usually wasn't worth our time. Now the person taking the order has always been courteous & read back my order, which was correct. I even used the app a couple of times, yet both times, the order was incomplete. Why do I continue to go? I go for convenience, especially when in the middle of a project. I have now gone on to trying other fast food places read more

They need to close this McDonald's down, get rid of all the current employees, reopen, and hire NEW/BETTER employees. I cannot not explain how many times I've tried to give this McDonald's a chance. If you're in the Norwich area or passing through, I promise you this McDonald's is NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!!, keep driving or go to 78 Town St Norwich, they might have a long line sometimes but the food is always fresh, hot, and ready, Now the 78 town street might have a little problem with repeating and listening to your order but at least the food is always hot ready and fresh. This one lady tried to steal $5 from me and the Spanish manager not sure of his name tried to fight with me about my money, I had to sit at the last serving window for about 20-25 mins before they decided to replay the cameras and see the stupid lady owed me my money. I understand it was only $5 but do not try to play in my face like I don't know basic math:/, they're all crooked here, sneaky, and liars! Always trying to over charge or steal money. This McDonald's on 109 Salem tpke fucking SUCKS!!!!!! Everyone in that McDonald's sucks!, attitudes -SUCK Customer service - SUCK Language- SUCK This whole McDonald's just SUCKS! DO NOT COME HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also p.s there's a Caucasian guy that works at the second window on some days, not sure if he's coked out or not, nose always running, scabs up and down his arm, nose super red, always sweating, eyes always droopy, constantly wiping his nose etc, my mother was picking up a happy meal for my son, my 3 year old son. My mother looked into the happy meal when the happy meal was passed through the window into her car (by the guy with all the scabs up and down his arm) and noticed a few things missing, so what does the guy do? He digs his hand into the happy meal, moved around the stuff inside the happy meal (yall know the fries, are open and all over the happy meal box if you ever had one), the guy had on NO GLOVES, and my mother noticed he had open wounds on his fingers.....she refused to pull off until she got her refund for the food. My mother has NEVER been to this one since. Many many other things I could go on for days with this review. But I'm telling yall now, don't, until they close down, re open, and get new/better, and cleaner employees in here. read more

My order was simple, fries, burger and two apple pies. Get home no burger. I call them back and they tell me to come back for my burger. Maybe I'll just stop going there. read more

I'm not sure why this place is rated low, I like it. It's one of the few Mcdonalds that have 2 drive way order takers, and it's in a very convenient location unlike the McDonald's in montville, which can hard to get in and out on the big hill. Also the facility is very clean and there is plenty of parking. I also like the fact that there are 3 ways to drive in to the restaurant parking lot. The staff is night and so far had got my order correct every single time. Thumbs up! The reason I only Give McDonald's 4 stars in because they really could do a better job at getting with the times and serving healthy alternatives. Many of there healthy choices still have a ton of artificial ingredients, access high glycemic carbs and sodium. Also this a great location for car meets, which many people Take advantage of. read more

McDonald's - Mcdonalds in Norwich. - Burgers Near Me - Norwich, Connecticut

Just purchased an drive thru order here today because in store order are close due to COVID19 situation which I normally don't because I always order inside the restaurant. The employees are friendly and hard working no complaints, I order two big Mac, two filet of fish and two large fries but just the two LARGE FRIES I order I will definitely need to complain about it. Paying for two large fries ended up getting two medium size of fries or maybe less than medium. Here are photos of the fries I just taken out from the bag which we haven't touched yet. I didn't bother going back because of a long line at the drive thru. read more

Horrible customer service. We were waiting outside to enter the location when a woman came outside and rudely told us to go away.

They messed up my order -_- my breakfast sandwich had no eggs, when i had order sausage egg and cheese I was so mad read more

This place food is not even warm and no customer service with the night crew. Everytime I go there it is nasty. I basically get over priced cold fries. And the people are so rude. They just hand you your stuff and shut the window door in your face and are rude when they ask your order. The day shift is very different. I won't be back there again they need better night management. Teach them customer service. read more

This store has become a complete joke..... Mobile order and it takes over a half hour to get your food. Not only does it take a half hour the order is wrong and you have missing items. Staff is rude and has bad attitudes because they mess up but it's your fault. Take your business elsewhere because this location is not a good on. read more

I go here pretty frequently and can say the food is never hot, fries are usually room temperature/cold and taste like the oil is rarely changed or have been sitting out for hours. I've also ordered food from this place and they forget things pretty regularly. Last meal I ordered from Uber was a large 10 piece meal and 2 chicken sandwiches and 1 cheese burger. They forgot the 10 piece and the drink in the order. Like what...? If you look at the history of the reviews for the last year or two it's pretty accurate. read more

This is the worst McDonald's you will ever go to. The GM should be fired for the constant lack of quality service. They always jip you on the fries at the drive thru, tonight I got 2 large fry and I got what was the equivalent of 1 large fry between the 2. This is obviously a money saving technique and it's been like this for a while except tonight it was shamefully obvious. The GM should be demoted to bathroom attendant and clean the toilets with their tongue. Horribly run business ! Don't waste money on this place. read more

they take forever and all I ordered was pancakes... 30 minutes wait for one item. How disappointing.

Believe it or not, this McDonald's denied me water. I asked for a cup of water and they said, you have to purchase it or buy something else off the menu. Are we in a drought? Don't go to a cheap and rude restaurant if they don't even offer water. read more

So I went drive through, I asked for my sandwiches and an order of large fry. I proceeded to give her the code for the 1$ fry. She didn't grand the code; gave me medium fries instead, it was super cold and stale. Didn't put my Buffalo sauce on the side like I asked her to do. And top the icing on the cake, I ended up paying full price. Deserves to be fired. read more

Their drive thru at night is absolutely terrible. Slow workers, low staff, and mess up orders. What kind of place just shuts down debit/credit card payements? Apparently we can only pay cash after the time of 2am. read more

Just had lunch here with a small crew of friends for her birthday (6/7yr olds) the staff was so nice and helpful ordering food and helping us with anything we need. They even came over and sang happy birthday to the birthday girl. It was such a nice experience, such great people!! read more

Customer service was awful the disrespect was astonishing. We ordered a m&m mcflurry and it didn't come along with our order, so we went to go ask for it and showed the receipt. Then the worker who we showed it to went to make it and he took the cup and the lid which he didn't even securely put on and started filling it up with ice-cream which he stopped mid-way. Also, when that was happening a girl who was also a worker was like "Oh my god that's so bad." and they started laughing and gave it to us, barely any m&ms inside the cup either. Also, I noticed that other customers were also receiving disrespect from workers. Customer service was awful, and I hope something like that never happens again. Maybe they were tired cause of a long day working and a little annoyed, but that doesn't give an excuse to be like that it's their job to serve the customers with the food they ordered, correctly and respectfully. read more

Super long wait times at the drive thru. Apparently, it's called "all day breakfast" because it takes all day to get your food. Maybe if you order burgers it's quicker, but I typically wait ten minutes or more for breakfast food at 1 or 2 pm, and am almost always asked to pull ahead and wait. Then they hand you the wrong bag. The mobile app has issues, and mobile ordering is NO quicker than ordering in person. It still takes forever to get the food. So what's the point? The iced coffee is inferior to Dunkin Donuts, but the food is good (when it arrives). I'm a regular at Dunkin, and will remain so. They are super quick and efficient, their food is also good (if a bit more expensive), and they rarely let me down. McDonald's, however, has frustrated me on each of my three visits this week. Advantage: Dunkin (for breakfast, anyway). read more

The new renovation is beautiful. All the employees are so friendly and helpful. Everyone who works there seem to be excited to see you and hopeful that you cone back.they have new machine where you can order and your food will be sent to your table.i love it there. read more

Food is your typical McDonalds quality. However, this location often can't keep up with the drive-thru orders, asking for you to pull into one of their two waiting spots, because they have run out of fries or muffins and have to make more. The most recent three times I have visited the drive thru, I've had to wait in one of those spots. So frustrating when you're on the go. read more

I give this place 0 stars. Waited 45 min for 4 sandwiches, some nuggets, and fries. Complained to management and demanded a refund which I didn't get because it was a $30 order, I was told "your won't get a refund at another restaurant and you ain't getting one here either". I complained to McDonald's Franchise cuz the owner of that establishment was real nasty. The workers get paid to stand around and conversate with their friends while on the clock and my food was made wrong after waiting all that time. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT DISGUSTING ASS PLACE. Must be nice to get paid and not do your job. Needless to say I threw all the food in the garbage because I almost broke my tooth on burnt fried onions and over cooked fries. read more

This is by far the worst McDonalds I've been to. The staff is clueless , they cannot count simple change, my order was messed up and the attitudes were awful. Customer service is non existent. Managers need to revamp the store and reevaluate their employees. I will not come back. read more

By far the worst Mcdonalds in the state of CT. If not the country. This Mcdonalds was not busy at early morning hours and waited in line to get our food for 40 minutes. Not to mention when we finally got up to the window we had to reorder our food because they lost our order. Then proceeded to wait another 5 minutes just for our food to be given to us. By far NOT FAST FOOD at all. read more

Worst service ever, none of them speak English and the food order is always wrong. Fries are basically not cooked. Food is always cold.

It's good for a fast food place! The service is fast, and there is this one person who puts extra Oreos in the McFlurry's® It is overall very clean inside the restaurant, which I like, and The drive thru people are nice read more

I am sick and tired of prices going up and service and food quality going down. Hard as a rock stale or burned muffins in the breakfast sandwiches (Consistently) this morning was no different. Then the extra bonus of my car not even stopping before I have a bag of food thrust at me. Dangerous! read more

This is as good as it gets for McDonald's mind you. The food was hot and the fries were crisp. They were fast despite a decent amount of customers. The restaurant and bathroom were clean. read more

I don't know if they are under new management or what but they have been awesome lately. Super friendly service and food made properly. Pleasantly surprised. read more

100% agree with previous poster. If i could give them negative stars I would. The service at this McDonald's is TERRIBLE. The drive thru is as slow as molasses even when it isn't busy. Not only is the service bad but the trash cans are always overflowing and there is trash all over the parking lot. It's gross. If you want fast food drive the extra mile to Wendy's or Burger King. read more

Yes; it's a Mcdonald's but this one has way too many problems. For a while they did better but then the staff changed too much again. Since they remodeled and put in that self-pay/order machine it is awful. The machine too often is either out of order completely or malfunctioning as in no receipt or takes order and then you have to pay at register anyhow. When you go the register the "Help" is no "help" not knowing what to do or how to do it compounding the machine's original issue. Then the "manager" has to be waited for and it takes them at least two attempts to fix things. By that time your order (what was prepared of it) is cold and you have been there way too long. Not returning to that McDonald's. When you submit the "complaint" via the receipt instructions/website you get a canned response explaining the need for the "self-pay kiosk" with no attention to the actual complaint. read more

This specific McDonald's is AWFUL. The employees here are SO incredibly rude. There's this one bitch who always takes my order and yells at me and gives me attitude for absolutely no reason. She has dirty blonde curly messy hair in a ponytail, glasses, seems maybe in her 30's, ugly and wears no makeup (just being honest ) point blank she's the rudest employee I've ever come across anywhere and she has no business being such a bitch to me. Her attitude was completely disgusting and disrespectful and I plan on talking to the manager still, because I will never forget how terrible she treated me when I was just trying to get my food. There's times I should've opened the soda she gave me and threw it in her ugly ass face she was so mean to me. IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. She NEEDS to be fired. Also she gave me the wrong amount of change back‍ disgusted and will get out of my car if she yells at me one more time. Some people are trying to just eat after they've worked a 12 hour shift!!!! Point blank: don't be a fucking bitch! read more

Upon arriving we noticed an employees hat wedged in the door. So we walked in and replaced the hat thinking that perhaps the door was messed up. The crew looked stunned that we were able to get inside. We asked if they were still open and they said yes but they had locked the door because there was some weird, creepy people outside. Reluctantly they took our order and we left. The very next night we walked to the store again at Thinking that the dining room would be open only to find out that it was closed again. I called the store and asked if their dining room was still open and she said it was closed for the night. There were people inside and I told the lady that there are people inside and she replied that they were employees waiting on their meals. All we wanted was a mcflurry so I asked if she minded if we walked through the drive through to order because they were not busy at all. She replied that her boss would have her head if she allowed that. I then replied that they should change the sign on the door if they are going to close the dining room every night and she said goodbye sir and hung up on me. That is not the customer being right, they missed out on sales, and if I had the desire and time to sue for false advertisement I would. Very poorly handled and neglect of customers. read more
