I had a terrible experience at the McDonalds on Imperial & Norwalk. The tables at the kids area were disgusting. There was trash and smeared sauce on the tables, and melted ice cream on the seats (see attached photos). Not only is this disgusting, it also greatly limits the available seating in a busy section of the restaurant. I told the cashier and asked if she could send someone to clean the table tops and chairs but she just said they're short staffed. Also, the soda fountain/condiment counter was DISGUSTING and not stocked. See attached photo- there were no napkins, lids, straws or ketchup. I had to wait to get the attention of a staff member to ask for my lids, straws, napkins and ketchup. The staff member had to make several trips because she kept walking away before I finished talking. Also, there was a sketchy-looking man laying on the first bench by the door. This man did not have any food with him and was just laying there. I don't understand why he wasn't asked to leave when he is taking up space and clearly not a customer. There was one employee working the cash register and bringing out the food. Customers were complaining about the wait and there was a ridiculous crowd waiting to order. This was a disgusting and terrible experience. Either increase your staffing or decrease your hours, but don't compromise your level of service - especially when your prices keep increasing. I am accustomed to McDonalds being clean facilities. This is unlike any other McDonalds I have been to and is a disgrace to the franchise. read more

Kept getting my order wrong! This has happened several times while they are friendly they only sometimes follow instructions.

I went to McDonald's Norwalk/imperial when my order was ready and my number was called I went to pick up my order I asked the person giving me my order that I needed napkins and ketchup and I was ignored they had none at the fountain drink area. It took me like five minutes for one of the workers to finally hand me some napkins and ketchup customer service at that location is below standard. I suggest spend your valuable dollars where you are appreciated. I had to give a one in order to leave this review but they deserve a below zero. read more

I spent 30 minutes in drive thru, I get to the window to pick up my order and I'm asked to park on the side. I wait another 5 minutes for them to come out with my order and they forget to bring my latte, I go back around to the drive thru to let them know they forgot my latte that's already been paid for, before I even get to the window it's another 30 minute wait. There is no reason why anyone should be waiting in drive thru for 30 minutes! I get home and low and behold NO SYRUP in my bag for 3 orders of pancake! This is truly beyond upsetting. Usually I'm not one to post a bad yelp review. But the lack customer service I had today at this location was enough for me to do it. I placed an order thru the mobile app thinking it would save some time since I seen there was a long in the drive thru. My total was $3 something since I got a 40% discount since I was doing it thru the app. I end up waiting in that long line for about 20 minutes without moving (at this point I'm already frustrated) I finally pull up to the window and As the cashier is repeating the order she's handing me food that isn't even mine. So I told her that this wasn't my order and I let Her Know I placed an order thru the app.. then she calls the manager and once she gets to the window she starts telling me my payment was declined. So I ask Her wasn't the total $3 something and she says no it was $7. So then I show her my confirmation on my phone and all She says "sorry I can't do anything about it. Your total is $7. I can't give you that deal ypu need to place the order thru the app all over again and I can't do anything here for you" I respond by telling her that I've Been waiting I'm that stupid long ass line for about 30 minutes now and there really isn't anything you can do??! And she says "nope sorry" seriously your a manager you swear you can't do anything about a Situation like that. After waiting for 30 minutes in the drive thru & over charging me l!?! I am so aggravated, seriously you shouldn't be a manager If you can't try to at least solve a problem. Where's your customer service???! I asked for two McChicken's with cheese and a large fry. Instead I got a medium fry and two McChicken's with no cheese. I gave them the sandwiches back and all they did was put cheese on it I didn't get new ones. The fries were fresh and The ladies who were in the lobby were extremely helpful and very kind when they brought my food to me. I came to this McDonald's because it is literally 2 minutes away from my house. On 1-17-19 i go through the drive through and I asked for the 10 piece McNuggets meal with UNSWEETENED TEA. I get to the window and pay and as she hands me my drink I ask her if it's unsweetened tea and she tells me yes with a very straight face then walks away. She comes back to give me my food then walks away again so I just leave. I know this location like the back of my hand and they always mess something up in my order so I taste the drink and it's sweet tea. I go inside with the drink in my hand and I don't bother telling the guy at the register. I just refill it myself and proceed to walk out. NOW my parents stop at McDonald's that same night just to get themselves an ice tea as well. They ask for unsweetened tea and they get sweet tea but they do not try it and return home with sweet teas and are furious. Moral of the story... ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD AND DRINKS! ALWAYS! I just recently moved to this area and I been coming to this location a little over a month and I always use the drive thru but I never had an issue all the staff seems to be so friendly until today I had an employee who's name is CLARISSA she has the worst attitude and when I came at the window to pay she straight up mad dogged me .. Went here on lunch break, wasted my time. I attempted to pay with 100 dollar bill and was told that there was no change. Which is very hard to believe because I used to work here and I know that there is a safe kept with all the cash from managers counting drawers. I was told this by the manager, a bigger older lady with thin red hair. I then asked her why there is not sign at the beginning of drive stating you don't take big bills. Fast service. Nice drive thru. Clean dining area. One star? Really?? I realize its a fast food chain, but why rate it if you don't take into consideration what it is? Of course the best McDonalds pales in comparison to a good restaurant, so why not give it a fair rating for a fast food place? If you're expecting a five star experience, you've come to the wrong place. Anyways. This McDonalds was fine. It looks better than a ton I've been to, and the dual lane drive thru was a nice touch. My Rolo McFlurry was prepped as good as it could be, and I received my order quickly. The interior of the restaurant looked modern and clean, and the bathroom was clean as well. No complaints here. DISCLAIMER: I TRY not to eat fast food, but since I did I will NOT rate McDonald's on the "quality (ingredients)" of their food. This is one of the best McDonald's that I've ever been to. I work across the street, so I come here somewhat often. Every employee that I've encountered has been very friendly and had my order correctly. I am posting this review knowing about Covid being in effect but seriously, I live down the street and have been coming here for over 2 years. Even before Covid they always messed our orders up. You ask for special requests and they say they will do it but never pay attention. The last few months have gotten really bad. Every time we order something they mess up the order. Me and my husband have had enough. So he goes to the manager today to finally tell them how he feels and the manager says he can't speak for other shifts. It's every shift that messes up the order. I ordered a large iced latte... They first rang me up for a hot latte. I get to the window for my food and they hand me a medium latte when it was supposed to be large. They "fix it" and hand me an iced coffee instead. I drive off and find I am missing a hash brown from my order. I'm not sure how I misplaced my receipt but I went in letting them know I was missing an item and one of the workers responded "oh she wants a hashbrown" as in I was just trying to get free food.
