We had power outages on July 4, 2026 so went to get coffee (and a biscuit) long line in drive thru so went inside. a bit of a line but got our order in at 10:15, found a table. and waited, saw others get food but a lot of others waiting as well. had no idea of where my order was in the cue. after 45 minutes, I lost my temper and said(shouted) at this point I just want my money back it was refunded but I don't feel I got an adequate explanation (can't help number of customers are what they order) they were running out of items. breakfast ended at 10:45 but the menus behind the counter were still showing breakfast items. I don't know how I could be more disappointed. McDonalds has changed since my brother was a manager years ago, And I don't think it for the better. read more

Second review of this 1.3 rated location (Hwy 9 and Classen). Decided to order via DoorDash this time hoping they wouldn't mess up the order like they do every time I went through the drive thru. Sadly, it was just another disappointing experience. Ordered two breakfast sandwiches and a hash brown. Got the McMuffins, but no hash brown. Thankfully DoorDash gave me a refund for the missing item. Why does this keep happening at this particular McDonald's? How difficult is it to look at the receipt and then look in the bag and confirm that they match? It's not rocket science bro. How the management of this place keeps their job is beyond me. I have been a weekly regular customer at this McDonald's for over 10 years. Today I cheated on my McDonald's and went to a different one that screwed up my order TWICE even AFTE I had them correct it. Then I came to my regular McDonald's hoping to re-order the same thing and this McDonalds fixed it and they didn't even charge me. This is genuinely the worst McDonald's in Norman just go to one of the other 3. Furthermore, it should be demolished, the GM should be fired, and every single employee should be fired and required to register as fast food offenders. Here are three experiences l've had with this place in 2025: 1. First time got my double quarter pounder wrong had ketchup, pickles, and onions all of which I asked removed. 2. Went a second time and they managed to not only get the double qtr wrong but despite charging me for a dol qtr they put only one piece of meat on it. I then waited exactly 12 minutes at counter before getting helped at which point I just demanded a refund. 3. I place a mobile order thinking, "hey it's nuggets through the app and surely they can mess it up", but I did not realize how wrong l could be. I wait at that curbside pickup spot marked on the app. While the app still says I'm waiting no one brings it after a very long time so I go inside and sure enough they just left it on a counter. Get back to the car and realize they put no sauce in the bag. Save your sanity and avoid this disgrace at all costs. read more

Terrible Experience - Never Coming Back! If I could give this McDonald's zero stars, I would. The food was disgusting--cold, stale, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The fries were limp and soggy, and the burger was a sad, greasy mess. I've had better meals from a gas station microwave. The ambience? What ambience? This place looks and smells like a dumpster. The floors were filthy, the tables were sticky, and don't even get me started on the bathroom--it was a biohazard zone. As for the service, I've seen rocks move faster. The employees looked like they hated their lives, and after dealing with them, I can see why. They were rude, slow, and acted like doing their job was the biggest inconvenience of their day. Drove all the way across town to pick up my order (to the Ann Branden location in Norman) and instead of getting food in the drive-thru, I got subtly called a thief by a manager. Was told they couldn't verify I paid for my order despite me showing them it was, on the app, and it showing the same in my bank account. They had me drive straight through to the third window where the male manager (a younger dude, busy scratching a sore on his neck) told me I would need to be charged again to get my order. I asked if I was being double charged because one already went through and he just kept saying "We don't give out food for free." As if I hadn't paid and was trying to somehow take advantage of them for free food. I just decided to leave, already having wasted my gas and time, and get food somewhere a psycho wasn't managing. This McDonald's is horrible with curbside. Nearly every single time I eat here, I wait an additional 15-25 minutes for my food. I've been in the curbside parking spot waiting on a happy meal and a single cheeseburger for nearly 30 minutes now. There's two other cars just sitting here and waiting. Drive-thru and to-go orders are clearly being completed. Service sucks, but it gave me an opportunity to write this review. i order online, we get to the drive thru and we don't move for about 5 minutes so i decide to go inside, keep in mind it's not even busy... i tell them i had an online order and gave my code, he then told me it'll be a few minutes so he gave us our drinks.. about 20 minutes i go ask how much longer and he told me it's next, he had me standing there for another 15 minutes because my food went to the drive thru side so it wasn't communicated knowing how "busy" it was. they actually gave me a bag that was sitting there for who knows how long, my fries were cold so they gave me a large fry after telling them. i get into my car and my food is barely warm which is quite literally insane and upsetting knowing it's not even worth asking for a refund for how long we've been there. & to make my night better, i ate in my car because there was a car behind me, i didn't know it was going to take 20 minutes for the drive thru to not even move so we asked the cars to back up so that we can go home after being there for so damn long. like i don't think i've ever had such a bad experience anywhere like this, like i wouldn't be surprised if those cars and all those people are still there waiting read more

I just want to say that the quality of the food at this particular location is absolute garbage. The one thing McDonald's is supposed to be good at is serving the same food no matter where you are, but that is so far from the case here. Their burger options are especially awful, which btw was McDonald's claim to fame originally. Every time I order any of their burgers it is blatantly undercooked with no grill marks, and there is absolutely not even one morsel of salt on the patty, plus the burger patty and cheese are nowhere near the buns which is just a result of sloppy kitchen staff. I know for a fact that McDonald's is supposed to season each burger and cook them for the exact same amount of time every time. Not to mention that the employees are all rude, at all times of the day, they constantly claim that they are closed if it's late at night even though they are a 24hr location. And they forget items all the time. A year ago they were much better, but there has been a serious decline since and whoever manages this location should be ashamed, as should corporate for allowing them to continue this way. Seriously. If I wanted a tasteless disgusting experience I'd eat a salad. McDonald's is supposed to be an unhealthy and unbelievably calorically dense salty treat for when you've had a bad day and just don't feel like cooking, but not here apparently. Laughably bad. I send my kid to get food and they needed to be onion free simple meat cheese and Mayo OF COURSE it had onions said he took them in for them to correct the mistake and the so called manager got hateful with him. He said I just need a refund. They told him no pushed the food back to him he said they are wrong. This store has very serious problems. The service fucking sucks. Attention to detail is totally lost. Every visit in three months has resulted in.. 1) long wait time for just on drink or to not receive the drink at all while in the numbered waiting stalls. example. 30 minutes for a frap ,only to find out they threw it out because the window never told them I was waiting in a stall ! 2) receiving food I did not order while waiting in a parking stall ,only they never came back with my original order 3) order a sausage egg biscuit while repeating it back to them 6 fucking times , I still get the wrong order. I've caught staff sleeping on the job and recently it appears they've just given up and they all just turn off the lights around 11-11:30pm and leave. This is the worst mcDonalds ever. They get orders Wrong frequently. I still come occasionally in hopes that management has changed or that they've hired competent people, but they never fail to let me down. Today we ordered 3 sausage McMuffins. All 3 were missing the eggs. That's a basic component of the food. The location is poorly designed. They should test it down and start again. The parking lot is designed so that you have to make one complete trip around the restaurant just to get into the drive through. This means they double the traffic around the restaurant just because it's poorly laid-out. Ot means twice the traffic that could hit a customer. read more

Half of the order didnt make it, nothing was warm, and condiment looked like they were just crammed at random amounts into the containers. The Big Mac container had more lettuce and 1000 island dressing than anything, and the patties were hard and smaller than the patties on the normal burgers in the order. None of the nuggets ordered arrived, thay could be Door Dash's fault, but this McDonalds didnt even use the stickers they put on the bag we did get to note how many bags there would be or who packaged it. read more

This Mcdonald's is very clean. I've been here two separate times, though, where the workers have been negative and unpleasant to work with. Once, I came with two friends and ordered their new bacon and cheese fries. We went inside and ordered. Apparently, someone in the drive thru had asked if their ice cream machine was working, and the girl taking order on the inside told the drive thru worker to "just tell them it's not." We got our food and went out to the car to eat, where we saw the cheesy fries pictured below. They fixed them, thank goodness.
