After taking in a concert in Buffalo, I needed dinner. The theatre district didn't have any eateries on my way back to the hotel that had restaurants open at 11 pm. I decided to find an open McDonald's near my hotel and found this one in Niagara Falls. Before heading up there, I placed an order on the McDonald's app: - Twenty-piece chicken McNuggets special for $5 - Medium Diet Coke Prices and deals stateside at McD's are cheaper and amazing than what we have at McD's Canada. Getting so many McNuggets for $5 was unheard of! I had no problem finding this eatery. I pulled in and hit the drive-thru. This drive-thru has two lanes. I was in the lane closer to the building. For some reason, the woman on the other end took orders from the second lane. It wasn't your usual first-come-first-served pattern. The man behind me got so frustrated that he backed up and moved over to the other lane. I then heard the woman acknowledge my being there. It was so confusing. I didn't and still don't understand this eatery's process handling customers at the drive-thru. I rattled off my order code. She had it and said to come up to the window. There was a bit of a wait because there were a few cars ahead of me. When I got to the window, I got a pleasant woman who handed me my drink and food. I thanked her and headed back to the hotel. Exiting this eatery to drive back was a bit chaotic. There was a pylon that hung out with me while I was waiting for traffic to clear before pulling onto the road. There was some pavement unevenness. I also had to dodge a couple of cars in the lot that felt like parking in a driving lane was better than in actual parking spots next to where they were. I sipped my Diet Coke along the way. It was so cold and refreshing. I was thirsty and was glad that I got a medium, which is really a humungous large. I had my food in my hotel room. I managed to eat all my McNuggets. I didn't order any sides, so it worked out. They were differently shaped compared to what you get in Canada. I liked the lack of uniformity. They were yummy, especially with the sweet and sour sauce. The following morning, I took advantage of getting free McDelivery through the app and ordered breakfast. I got these items: - Big breakfast with a hash brown - Steak, egg, and cheese McGriddle I ordered at around 7:45 am. My food came at around 8:30 am. Pretty good! McDelivery is through DoorDash. I got a bag of condiments. This place was generous with the butter, strawberry jam, and more. However, I felt like it overdid things when I got hotcake syrup. I didn't order any hotcakes, but thanks for seeing if I'd like it better than good Canadian maple syrup. My big breakfast looked like it had a rough start to the morning. My eggs were all over the place in my container, as if someone thought that it was a part of a snow globe, but without any liquid. My eggs were bland. Thank goodness for the magical bag of condiments! I normally don't put ketchup on my eggs, but they helped me digest these eggs that could have tasted better. The sausage was yummy. I liked the biscuit, which is even better with the strawberry jam on it. It was warm, with crispy edges, but fluffy. I really ordered breakfast to try the steak, egg, and cheese McGriddle. Canadian locations don't offer this item. They should! The steak was a leaner version of a beef patty. It was delicious. The egg was a folded omelette, which was much better than the choppy eggs in my big breakfast. The cheese cemented all ingredients. I am a huge fan of the McGriddle with the pancake buns with pockets of syrup in each bite, so this one was a fancier, elevated version. This McGriddle was amazing! I should have got two and ditched the big breakfast had I known that it was this yummy. It's a solid place for a late bite at night. I'd steer clear of the big breakfast, unless you like your eggs confetti-style. I hope that the steak, egg, and cheese McGriddle is a permanent staple on the menu. It was fantastic! (148) read more

Terrible, absolutely terrible. Just ordered a small shake. Waited over 10 minutes for it and the shake was watery, wasn't thick like they should be. I get that a fast food place gets busy and backed up from time to time but this McDonald's is always backed up I am for ever getting pulled over for French fries if you go through the drive through they always make you get out the line and pull over an extra 5 or so min it is insane because it's no matter what time you go they are going to pull you over. Zero stars is the only appropriate rating for this franchise. DO NOT go to this McDonald's. It has all the branding, and the same menu, but it is in no way the McDonald's that you know. It is Bizarro McDonald's. We were in the Drive Thru for 20 minutes. The last 10 was behind a car that was only waiting for a small order with a Happy Meal. When that car got their order, they immediately started banging on the window. Only after 5 minutes of banging did the window reopen, and the driver got straws for the drinks he had received. We also didn't get straws, but then were told to pull to the "front of the store" to wait for our order of a Quarter Pounder and Chicken Nuggets. The front of the store is Pine Avenue. There is nowhere to park, and after waiting 25 minutes just to be told to wait some more in a different place, we didn't trust we'd ever see our food. So, we went inside with our receipt. There were a half dozen people waiting for their food, and not a single person behind the counter. Everyone in the kitchen was in street clothes, and none of them were busy filling orders. A woman came over and took my receipt to verify the order. I had to ask for it back when she started to disappear into the kitchen. It was only AFTER I was standing at the counter, with my receipt back in my hand, that the staff started to prepare my order. The woman who filled it grabbed a 3-lb box of Morton Kosher salt, and shook it over my order of fries. It seemed to be how they were salting all of the fries (one order at a time), and it was then that it dawned on me that no one in the kitchen seemed remotely sober. If I were by myself, and it wasn't 11 a.m. on a weekday, it might have been like a funny scene from a movie. But it was so bizarre, and so thoroughly hostile to all of the customers, that it was hard to imagine how McDonald's hasn't terminated this franchise. Worst f-ing McDonald's ever and I'm from baltimore, literally one of the most ghetto cities, BALTIMORE have better McDonald's. This location is great if you want hot fast food that is freshly hot, not something that has been cooked and sitting for a while. My most recent trip I came here on a Tuesday night around eleven (11), I waited so long in line I was tempting to shut off my car. I was in line with three cars in front of me for about 40+ minutes. It was the longest wait for "fast" food I ever had. By the time I got up to the window I was expecting my food to be ready, but NO I had to wait another 10+ minutes. It was the worst experience, and they have the drive-thru set up where once your in line there's no getting out of it. You're stuck! It was awful. Food wise, it's hot and fresh. Any words of any actual significance? I rest my case. Not a fan of this location. They frequently have long lines and very slow service. I don't know why they take so long?! The workers here are very rude, and disrespectful. After waiting forever in line we pull up to pay, and the workers are talking rudely about us with the window open because we ordered food for 4 people. The food was disgusting, hard, and cold. It had clearly been sitting out for hours. This is very ridiculous, and uncalled for. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They have rude employees and manager! We were on vacation and went here after seeing the Falls and placed our order at 10:41 PM. I waited a few minutes to receive our food then sat down. My children and I were sitting there eating and the cashier whom waited on us came over and rudely said our lobby is now closed. I nodded my head to say ok because my mouth was full of food. I thought ok we'll leave when we are finished eating. Then she goes and turns the lights off behind us in the lobby. I thought wow how rude is that. We were still eating and the manager came over and rudely said the lobby is closed! Where do I start with this place. The food service sucks. They are very rude and ignorant. They are liars all the way up to management. They always get my order wrong. When I call back, if I can get through to speak to anyone, I'm told they would put my name in the book. But they never do. So when I go to get my replacement item I'm made out like I'm trying to get over or some type of liar. It takes like 20min to even get your food. This McDonald's has to be the worst one I have ever been to. The drive thru has you locked in so you cannot get out of line. All I wanted was 2 hamburgers and a small fry. It took over 20 minutes to get it. So when I checked my bag my food was stone cold so I told them to remake my order which was like the world came to an end. I told them to leave the my order on the counter so I could see it and to make sure they just did not pop it into a microwave. Another 10 minutes later I finally got my order which they gave to me for free for having to wait. Very diaappointing. Did you know that when you order a fish fillet sandwich, you only get half the cheese. On complaining, the manager said that was thwir policy. And I thought all mcdonald restaurants were suppossed to be consistent in food. I made a mobile order for curbside pick up at 9 am to pick up at 11. I arrived at 11:09 to pick up my food. I DID NOT GET MY FOOD FOR 30 MINUTES. After I had to go inside to ask where my order was the manager, who seemed reluctant to help and really didn't, had to be called over by another employee after I couldn't get her attention. She then told me that they only had 2 hash browns and if I wanted to wait or get fries. I was already pissed at having to wait so long so I took the fries and left. I found in my bag, two semi burnt, lukewarm hash browns instead of the 4 I had ordered, my Sausage McGriddle without the double cheese I paid 80 cents extra for, and recieved a medium fry THAT COST LESS THAN MY ACTUAL HASH BROWNS. I have not been back here since my food poison incident in 2015... So I said I am safe with fries we cannot believe the disgusting atmosphere, napkins on the floor, platic lids all over fountin area, the fountin area was just absolutely nasty and disgusting no ketchup in the container cause it was basically all over.. I walk up to the counter and ask for ketchup packets they look at you like your stupid and wasting their time and throw me 2 ketchup packets, umm no can you please give me 2 more? This humpty dumpty put her hands on her hips and thew me 2 more...
