I was here this past Friday around 4:30 or so with my granddaughters. When we walked in there were other people waiting to come to the register to take orders. I had a feeling there was going to be a problem from the get go. I finally placed the order after already being there for almost 20 minutes. Then the food took FOREVER to be ready. Orders placed AFTER ours were being called out. It was almost another 15 minutes before I finally wanted to speak to a manager to cancel my order and get a refund. There was no reason for it to take so long. We only had nuggets and a happy meal. By the time the manager came over, who was extremely rude, the food was ready. I didn't want to change my mind and say "oh it's ready - forget about the refund". By now it was the principal. The employee was taking the food back but instead he grabbed it and just gave it to someone else - free. It took him another almost 10 minutes to figure out how to give me my refund. I know this is very long winded but I was just dumbfounded about how long food took at this location. Will never go back. If there are any "higher ups" reading this - you should really look into that location. read more

Me and my girls, Teresa and Fran decided to have some take out, we haven't had it since the 80s. We decided to go for some Mcdonalds. it was quite different than I had remembered it, though the BigMacs just as good! We went through the drive through since we placed mobile orders. When we told them we had three (one for each of us) they told us we could only have two. We went through, only getting mine and Fran's. Teresa really was craving her Big Mac and chocolate shake, she was really disappointed when she couldn't get it with all of us. We ended up going in, Teresas bag was sitting there for over 30 minutes! she complained that the fries were soggy. But she didn't mind all that much as she got new ones. Though, when she tried her chocolate shake, she was really upset. She explained that it was barely chocplate flavored, banging on the counter asking for Hershey syrup to do it herself. Long story short manager refused to give me burger even though he looked at the sale on my phone/app. He then accused me of doing this all of the time. We proceeded to order them and when they came out, we noticed they didn't have the crocs in them. They had a different toy. I went up and asked about that. The staff at this McDonald's are friendly & provide great customer service. Cleanliness is their priority as I always see someone either mopping the floor or wiping down tables. As far as McDs go, this is a good one. It looks like a 50s diner from the outside and it feels like one on the inside including a jukebox(I don't know if it works). Well it's no wonder they have only a 2 star rating here. We were promptly waited on when we pulled up in the drive thru lane, but our experience went downhill from there. We paid for the order, and then pulled ahead to the next window. The girl working the window was curt and rude, and stood there texting on her phone while waiting for our order to be up. She pretty much threw the bag of our food at me, and then just said "bye." I had to remind her I was waiting on a cone and received an "oh" without an apology. What? No reviews yet for this uber-cool recently renovated McD's?? A few years ago they closed the McD's on the pike for a few months and made it into this funky cool retro style McDonalds - overall, if you like fast food architecture it is pretty cool. The food? well, it is still a McDonalds and if you like that, it is what it is. For me there isnt much on the menu to eat so I will focus on the McCafe .. The coffee side of this McDonalds was one of the first McCafes before they launched the whole McCafe deal nation. I came a few times and thought it was pretty good - i think they were using Italian Illy beans and had a nice manual espresso maker with people who sort of knew how to pull decent shots. They also had a bakery in house for making some pretty decent tasting pastry! imagine, McDonalds going beyond their fine apple pies!! Last time I was in (today) they had dropped the nice Illy beans, and got rid of the manual espresso maker in favor of an automatic and some beans of unknown origin - and I will have to say it was disappointing. My McMocha was more like McWatered-down-coffee-with a few drops of chocolate.. today was the last time I will give McCafe a shot. If the place didn't look so "cool" it would only be one star. read more

The staff at this location can't seem to do their jobs correctly. We have had an issue with the online orders, and now the drive thru. Something needs to be done because the location can't count and/or check orders. Anything more than one meal or 2 mcchickens confuses the workers and the orders get messed up. This morning I ordered, a sausage Mcgriddle with a hash brown and a large drink. When I pulled up to the second window, the person working did not speak a word to me. After he handed me my food *still not being spoken to* he closes the window as I'm asking for my receipt. I waited at the window for about 25 seconds before he came over and I was able to request my receipt. He then, without saying anything, he closes the window, and then walks to the counter for dine in. Only a couple seconds later a woman employee who I assume was the manager comes to the window and demands the bag that was already handed to me BACK through the drive thru window. she told me she accidentally put one sausage burrito in the bag and needed to take it out. Per OSHA and the Department of Labor; once food is handed to a customer and, especially put in their car, you're not supposed to except it back to the window. As I'm pulling off I hear the male worker call me a vulgar name in Spanish. I then parked my car, and went in the restaurant to confront both of them. I have on cellphone video the manager asking me for my bag bag so she can take the one burrito out of it. I will be taking further action with the video, posting it where I can and submitting it to the Health Department. Everything is documented and on camera. I would like a call from the person in charge of the business. Coming off of a pandemic, it's unacceptable for people to be ignoring such important rules of food safety. read more
