It's great that the newer Chick-fil-A stores have a mobile line, perfect for quickly using their App to place an order, pay, and pick up your food. Honestly, I avoided going to Raising Cane's for a long time (a couple stores opened up in my area several months ago) because I thought, "Eh, it's chicken tenders, how good could it be?" Well, was I in for a reality check (and a treat)! I am so glad I finally stopped and can't wait to go back again. My visit was last Friday (April 11, 2025) and I knew something good was on the horizon when I walked in and was immediately greeted by the shift manager and the person running the register. This may come as a shock, but the folks working there truly seemed happy and glad to be doing their job and serving customers. I was able to speak with the shift manager after my meal and he was so polite and friendly. The young lady working the cash register would go out on the floor and wipe down tables when she didn't have any customers to wait on. Such initiative! If you think you've had it all in the world of chicken tenders - think again! The tenders are so fresh, moist, and cooked to order. The special sauce has the perfect zing to it. I was totally satisfied with my meal. Even the fries have a signature taste to them and aren't run-of-the-mill deep fried potatoes. Due to the outstanding customer service, the delicious food, and a nice clean atmosphere, I would definitely recommend you eat at here. Please patronize Raising Cane's. You will not be disappointed.

Problem was the food, which had both good points and bad. I thought some of the items on the menu were quite pricey, so we mostly went with budget items. The wraps I had were pretty good, and the Hot Dog was not bad either. I got a seasonal special shake (Peppermint Bark), which was nice, but the candy bits were too big for the straw so I kept having to pull it out and eat those and it made it hard to drink. Finally, we come to the Onion Rings. Such a fumble here. I thought they were expensive, but I was surprised by the sheer amount they gave. A Large Onion Ring was HUGE and I would consider it a good value, honestly. And the rings themselves had beautiful, thick onion in them, unlike many places that have these sad thin rings with way too much batter. The foundation there is solid, but the problem was that they had a strong taste like the deep fryer oil was WAY overdue for a change -- that bitter, greasy flavor old oil gets. Totally ruined them for me. That's a management issue or a cheap owner issue -- change your oil more often.

I tried it is when it first opened... When the lines were ridiculous (shows how much we need more decent restaurants here)... and was unimpressed. I was starving after a late night workout and, it being one of the very few places open so late, I'd give it another shot. I didn't want them to cool off so within 2 minutes of being handed the box (they handed me just a freaking Styrofoam box... no bag), I opened it... Saw 3 small and unimpressive looking chicken fingers... Not particularly hot... Not at all crispy. Dipped one in the pittifully bland (greasy feeling) sauce and ... "WTH.... this tastes like... NOTHING." Bland as hell. I took the others home and put so much seasoning on them I swear the seasoning weighed more than the chicken itself. Why can't we have a Dave's Hot Chicken around here? That chicken is a flavor explosion! KFC puts Cane's to shame and is consistently crispy and flavorful. Chik Fil a is also superior. Canes? Nursing Homes have a competitor in Trexlertown. Never again.
