The WORST McDonald's I've ever been too. Ordered a basic qtr per with cheese. On top of it taking 37 mins. A real 37 mins. The burger did not have condiments. My sister's burger was raw. My was burnt and rubbery. The worst. read more

In summary, my experience included poor service/kiosk operation, getting the wrong food, having my order sit for several minutes while the food was getting cold, and issues with the woman's bathroom. 1st, the kiosk was out of paper so I didn't know my order number. I asked the cashier. She couldn't figure it out and had to have a manager print out my receipt. The cashier asked if I scanned the QR code using their app. No. I asked for a paper receipt, why would I need an app or scan a code that was not displayed very long if at all. I rarely go to McDonald's and have absolutely no desire to put their app on my phone, nor should it be necessary just to track your order. Just keep the kiosk filled with paper. BTW - The kiosks should alert you when it's low on paper so a customer never has to deal with not knowing their order number. 2nd, I saw my order being bagged, that included my fries. The worker set it aside and I watched it sit and sit for several minutes before the last sandwich was added. The fries were cold and the large fry wasn't close to being full. I had to go in and figuratively grab the manager to get some fresher fries. They were fresher, but still not fresh because she just grabbed another prepared box of fries. 3rd, I ordered two deluxe sandwiches. The kiosk only allowed me to edit one of them and not the other, so I ended up with everything on my sandwich. Once we finally were able to eat them, we discovered that we had double deluxe burgers. I checked my receipt and confirmed we ordered just the deluxe and not double. My sister-in-law complained hers only had 4 drops of mustard. Given I didn't want mustard, this was actually a plus for me. So, yeah, we got something extra than what we paid for, but it wasn't what we wanted or ordered. 4th, My sister-in-law used the bathroom facilities. They were down to one usable stall with toilet paper. Plus, a soap dispenser didn't work and a hand dryer only blew cold air. Lastly, I saw a young man wondering back and forth the whole time I was there, which was for quite a while. The only work I witnessed him doing was moving two drinks from one place to another. If your kitchen can only handle x people working then it seems like having additional staff just wondering around is not beneficial. Or, maybe he could have been putting paper in the kiosks or cleaning the restrooms and making sure they are in usable condition. read more

Never any major issues, we get out food correct the majority of the time. If they are missing anything we call and swing back. They don't overload burgers with condiments and don't put tons of sauce on fish sandwiches which we liked :) Over all we like this place, will go back. Room to sit if you want bit usually do drive through. read more

Stopped for a quick burger. The clowns put enough ketchup on it for 10 burgers! I guess they thought it was cute! Would have returned it but i was five miles down the road before i realized I was butt of their joke. Will not return. read more

Wonderful McDonald's. Extremely clean, efficient service, and tasty food make this a nice stop off I-64. I was also impressed by how nice this McDonald's looked both inside and outside. If you're traveling through, there's a Casey's General Store next door for gas, sundries and stuff. read more

This is one of my favorite McDonald's. I guess because they have the old style arches. The food is same as every other McDonald's. Nothing special but they were pretty quick in serving it. I'll definitely go back. It's clean too. read more

I'd give it zero stars if possible. I've had a few bad visits( cold food, hot water with whipped cream instead of hot chocolate, missing items) but the worst and last straw was when I pulled up in the drive thru at 10:58 AM and asked if I could get pancakes since they are served all day and a large French fry. The lady told me It's breakfast only. By that time it was 10:59. I said lunch is only a minute away, is there anyway I can just pay and pull into the parking spots for waiting and that I wouldn't mind waiting. She rudely told me no that they are only serving breakfast and aren't ready for lunch even though they have to serve lunch at 11. That's the worst I've felt treated at any food place. She seemed like she hated her job and just wanted to piss off as many people as possible. read more

Worst service two times within 2weeks ordered 3piece chocolate chips and they forget it again like I know it wasn't busy I work for fast food before it's like they don't check the bag or order before it gets to the customer and what's worst I call all they can say is oh you didn't get it in the bag well oblivious not if I'm calling you to complain they need to get better people or be more aware of the order read more

We stop at this McDonald's a few times a month as we drive through New Baden because it's right off the highway exit. It's really an exceptional McDonald's. The staff is polite, their drive through line moves quickly, our food has always been hot and fresh, properly assembled and portioned, and basically looks just like the pictures it should resemble. We've only ever had one mishap in a hundred or more visits over several years, and the manager called me personally to make sure she understood the problem and could correct it, and replaced our food. Our visits since have been back to their excellent standards. Knowing they have good customer service and consistent product will keep it one of our favorite McDonald's locations. read more

We go to this McDonalds every week after my daughters practice because it is on the way home. Most times, they screw something up, but we still tried to give them a chance. Two weeks ago, we went there and they made us wait 17 minutes for our order. With screaming hungry kids in the car, I pulled away and drove home ( to Belleville) only to open the bags and find out that the order was only half there. When I called the store , the manager promised to give me the next order for free and took down my name. I asked if I needed to keep the receipt and he assured me that my name was on the board and I would not need it. YOU CAN GUESS WHAT HAPPENS NEXT .... Tonight, my wife went to get our meal and they said that, without a confirmation number, we have " No leg to stand on" and that there is no name on a board. my wife asked for the regional Managers number and they gave her the number to the store. when she called it, the same damn kid answered. STAY AWAY from this McDonalds. The staff are ignorant and they do not care about you ! read more

Actually had a pleasant experience here. They at least have decent employees here. If you go further West, forget about it. We had fresh hot food and fast service. The people who own this one own a few others that I know of and are the only ones I'll go to. read more

Classic McDonalds. Always cheap. You get what you paid for. Always nice and clean and the workers are friendly.

This McDonald's is the absolute worst place to get ANY fast food purchased accurately. The people working the counter can't remember their own name let alone what you ordered. For the past six months that I have gone here they haven't gotten my order correct once. Either they don't make the meal the way that it was ordered or they forget condiments for the chicken. If you want good food fast, go to the truck stop on the south side of the highway where they hire older people who care about there jobs and your order. The owners of this franchise need to consider shutting this place down so that something better can be built in it's place. read more

Excellent service. They were kind and polite the food was great and fast. The place was clean. I came through New Baden on and Sunday on my way back to Florida and stop by McDonald's for a quick bite at 6am. The food was great and I was treated nice I highly recommend stoping by u won't be srry. I only had one problem the way one of the managers treated the employes she had a attitude and was belittling Some of them she shouldn't talk to her coworkers like that other then that it was a great time. read more

Don't eat breakfast here! I gave up after countless mornings of getting stale, dried out food and incorrectly made McCafe's. At random times over the course of a year I would try again and the breakfast is always terrible. Better quality food at the Lebanon location but getting a McCafe will be a challenge....but that's for a separate review. read more
