The drinks are fare. Not open half the time and I find I don't understand how one can run a business and be closed Soo often!

I had biscuits and gravy and hash brown casserole, they taste like the best homemade you could get. Coffee was perfect, I drank it black. I passed on the baked goods, but I will definitely return here to try them. The atmosphere is definitely different, but it is relaxed and quiet. Almost like a bed and breakfast? But without the bed lol. You walk into a counter, which is also where you order and pay, and where the baked goods are displayed. Server was kind and asked how they could help me and I was confused and thought maybe I went in the wrong entrance lol. The dining area is not visible from the counter. I said I would like to dine in, they took my order at the counter, and directed me to the dining area, which is to the right of the counter past a living space. The dining area is a small, quiet room, which I really enjoyed. Everything was clean, service was great, they were attentive but not overbearing. Price was appropriate. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

Recently had their espresso loaf and it was excellent. The kids loved their raspberry scone! They offer steamers (milk) with flavor if you want to get the kids a drink, but without the caffeine (or sugar!). However, the rotating specials are always a hit too.

It was cool that they had a menu of specialty drinks with a Gilmore Girls theme. I was so tempted to order one, but I went with my regular drink, an Iced Vanilla Honey Latte. I had mine made with whole milk, it add that extra pizzaz to the latte. It was late morning and I knew I'd be having lunch soon, so I did not have one of their pastries. However, I will tell you they looked pretty good. I am always a sucker for a Blueberry Scone or a Pumpkin Muffin and they had both. The ambiance was old school coffeehouse, they had a bunch of couches and easy chairs in addition to multiple tables and chairs giving you lots of places to work on your laptop. The young lady baristas were friendly and had masterful skills making my latte. If I'm in Collinsville and need caffeine, I'll be sure to stop by Verona again and next time I'll try a Gilmore Girls Specialty Drink.

They recently have reworked the inside some and have a new candy station that is full of all kinds of seasonal goodies. When I worked down the street, I would often come for their cold brew coffee, fir an afternoon pick me up. They also serve some pretty amazing breakfast and lunch sandwiches on New York bagels. Weekend hours are longer over the summer and early fall staying open until 10pm but as they hit October the hours shift to close by 9 o'clock on the weekends. They have cute ice cream cone seating tables as well as an old time soda bar. Definitely our families go-to ice cream splurge. I love that it's on Main Street with all the cute boutiques, shopping and local events.

Even when we stop by other coffee shops in STL or Saint Charles, Corner Cup is still our favorite. My go-to is an iced pistachio latte with honey drizzle (the first time I came here they had a seasonal Baklava Latte and it was sooo good) and my husband gets an iced hazelnut latte. I've also tried their iced chai and it is delicious--not too sweet and just the right amount of spices. My favorite, savory baked food is their spinach and feta danish. I highly recommend getting one with your coffee for a light breakfast. The baristas are so kind and welcoming, and they always remember my name because I go there so much haha. The shop itself is very cute, and their furniture is quaint and unique, and they always have fun, coffee-related knick-knacks for sale. Must-try spot in Festus! Was happy to see that it wasn't crowded as I sometimes get anxious in a crowded place especially when the space is small. I was greeted once I went up to the counter. Not soon after I get up to the counter more people started to come in so I felt rushed and since it was my first time I wasn't expecting to be so many options that I panicked and just ordered the first thing I saw on the menu. Think it was a dolche latte maybe. Got it hot in a 12oz with almond milk and quickly checked out as others were behind me. I st down in one of the chairs by the door since I had an hour to kill and wanted to wait till I got the chance to go back and look at the rest of the menu. Little did I know that the place would just get busier and my time was up and had to leave. I did enjoyed my short time there while sipping on my late and watching my Kdrama and my late was really delicious. Now that I know about this place I will continue to visit while my daughter is at dance. I'll be back!!

I arrived early at around 8:15. This is a relatively small establishment with a small parking lot. It looks like they have a trailer available for mobile coffee service too. They were fairly busy and it seemed like only one person was working. This made the wait a bit longer than I expected, but the employee was working very hard and making good time considering she was alone. I enjoyed listening to the alternative music and hanging out in the store. It was clean and comfortable. I ordered one of their March specials, the Peanut Butter Guts, as I love coffee and peanut butter together. I also ordered a cookie from Cookie Hustle (which I think is like a sister business housed under the same roof) -- a pumpkin snickerdoodle. Sounded so good! I enjoyed my coffee drink. It definitely had a detectable and enjoyable peanut butter flavor, as well as the mocha. I think it was a tiny bit heavy on milk for my preference, but overall it was tasty. I ate the cookie later and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect chewy snickerdoodle texture and lots of yummy spices. I wish I'd gotten several different cookies to try more! When I showed up at breakfast with my coffee, my family remarked on how much they like this little shop and keep coffee from here at their house for special occasions. High praise! If you're in the area, give them some love! :)
