this McDonald's has the worst service I have ever experienced. it takes forever for them to give you your food, they'll look at you while your waiting from them to take your order and don't even take your order so you have to basically beg them. they are so rude. then after all of that the food was cold and soggy. The burger was so thin it could've been a hair and gave the littlest drop of ketchup it was laughable. the manager didn't even come out after 30 minutes of waiting. So lazy, rude and disrespectful. Worst food I have ever had. dog food is better than this. read more

After paying and being asked at pick up window in drive thru to pull ahead and wait on food, we did and waited for over 10 minutes for 2 McDouble meals with no special requests. We watched 4 vehicles get their food and leave before someone came out and brought us our cold and stale food. It had to be simply sitting inside on the counter for almost all of the time we were waiting where we were told to go. This location is typically slow but this guarantees never returning again. read more

easily the worst fast food location anywhere to start, the drive thru wait times are 10mins, on a dood day the manager was some clueless, bossy young female, i had to wait 20mins then they said they forgot my order...at the 2nd window. so i asked to talk to the mgr, while videoing it, she refused to show up instead, called the police on me for reasons they couldnt explain seriously they have franchise contact email and phone, both of which dont work obviously dont care only mcds...bk, dq and arbys never a problem, go there everyone in town knows its the worst and none of the kids want to work there read more

I ordered by mobile app I come in to get my food and the dude put it on. The thing said two double cheeseburger a small fry so the customer opens the bag which wasn't his and all they could say is I'm sorry about that all I could do was say I'm sorry instead of actually saying I can replace it if you want me to this McDonald's is sick not clean very dirty read more

McDonald's - a hand holding a half eaten sandwich - Burgers Near Me - Nappanee, Indiana

i've had better food made by blind people. don't ever go here and not check ur bag before you drive away. make sure you be able to deal with the attitude you'll always get. they will pull you up and say waiting for fresh fries & your fries will be cold when they give you your food. honestly just stay away if you want any type of happiness read more

McDonald's - mcdouble no modifications were made - Burgers Near Me - Nappanee, Indiana

If I could give it a zero I would. Ordered 3 Big Macs yesterday, 3/28/23 @ 1105 & all 3 had stale, hard buns. Never would have thought a McDonalds would rate so low. read more

Yea not much has changed at this establishment. Idk I'm not going back home yet. Not coming back.

When in the drive thru, i was very disappointed to see that the fresh fries that were being made for my order were already almost gone because the person who was working the window needed a snack. In my opinion, she didn't need the snack because she was bigger than the ice cream machine (which was broke). All in all, very disappointed in the experience i had, although the drive thru lady regurgitated the fries into my mouth. read more

THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR AN UNDERCOOKED EGG MCMUFFIN!!! Threw the sandwich away. No one will pick up the phone at the store! Prior two visits resulted in long delays to place and get orders (I get there is a labor shortage, so showed patience). Today there is no OJ (which I can get with supply chain issues and again showed patience). It will be my last visit to this location. You are damaging the brand. read more

This McDonald's is an absolute joke. It's disgusting. Took so long to get my Order in that after waiting ten minutes at the drive thru just to place my order I called corporate and was done with that ten minute call and now writing my review and still haven't even paid yet. All I need is a happy meal because I know better than to order my food from here. It's disgusting. Always trashed and rude people. If it wasn't for kids wanting the whole McDonald's thing this place would go down. It's the joke of the town and a disgrace. I'd you're wanting good food fast go to the Mexican restaurant uptown. It is literally always faster to go in there to eat than to go through McDonald's drive thru. read more

I am always hopeful that my experience at this McDonald's will be better than the last, but I am proven wrong every time--each experience is WORSE than the last. The line is always extremely long and extremely slow. Forget fast food...this McDonald's is nowhere near fast. They have messed up my order almost every single time. They also stop serving McFlurrys at 6 PM every night--I know this because they told me they turn off the ice cream machine every night at 6 PM. They also stop serving breakfast at 10:30 AM. Yes, you read that correctly, 10:30 AM. AND they ran out of Orange Juice the other day...at 8:45 in the morning. How? Just how? I guess the one positive in all of this is that I won't eat here anymore so I won't be overweight. read more

Ordered lunch for the hubby and I in drive thru. He got a fish meal with a Diet Coke. I got a quarter pounder meal with a coke. Handed me my drinks and neither one marked so I checked receipt and it says coke with both meals. When they handed me my opened bag of food on this bitterly cold day, I told them that one was supposed to be a diet, so they handed a 3rd drink that they said was a Diet Coke. Got home to soggy fries and 3 cokes instead of a Diet Coke. I love their food when it's fresh, but today was extremely disappointing. I guess next time I will ask for fresh fries and I will taste all the drinks. Too bad that is what it comes down to now. read more

I know in this day and age it's hard to find good help. But my goodness. I pulled up to pay the person literally yelled at me hello!!!!!...... Looked like they didn't wash their clothes in weeks. It seemed as if they put that person back there so nobody else was see them the bad thing is that's the first person you see in the Drive-Thru. I understand again it's hard to find good people especially those who respect themselves and respect others. read more

Went there for fast food, but waited for an hour and got dumpster juice. Opened up my chicken nuggets to find a fried piece of cartilage. Apparently food machine broke. Understandable, never coming again! read more

Waited 5 minutes without even being acknowledged. One customer received wrong order and received no apology, just smart ass remarks for bothering them. Floors were filthy as were the prep areI left when I witnessed a member of the kitchen staff remove Shoe to adjust sock and then go right back to preparing food without washing hands. This place just needs to be tore down, it has been hopeless for years. Too bad we can't give zero stars. read more

This McDonald's restaurant shows a lack of supervision. The toilet paper roll was just stuck on the back, with the dispenser empty. From the size of the roll, it had been there some time. There was no ice in either soda dispenser, and evidently no plan to bother filling them. This is the second McDonald's in two days to fall far short of even mediocre performance. Perhaps raise the pay and find people who will protect the brand. read more

This place is a joke. Hire motivated staff. And actually care about the product you give out to your paying customers. We all work, we all pay bills, the most decent thing you could give is a decent meal at least. read more

We wanted breakfast and when we go to McDonald's, we usually go the extra couple miles to Bremen, but I thought MAYBE the breakfast shift in Nappanee isn't as bad as the dinner shift. HUGE MISTAKE. First, I asked for an unsweetened tea with my meal. Since the beginning of time, breakfast meals have come with a small drink unless you request larger. My son ordered a coke and she gave us both large. The monitor wasn't working, so I couldn't see this. I pay and get my receipt and see I was charged an upcharge for the large tea. I flagged down an employee and politely asked for a smaller drink and a refund because I won't finish a large and I don't want to pay the extra. First off all, she was breathing very heavily and I couldn't tell if she was overworked or sick. She said, "Didn't you order a large sweet tea?" Omg. If I would've gotten sweet tea... So she tells me I have to pull forward. I asked if they needed my card to do the refund and she said, "That's why I need you to pull forward right now." So another girl comes out and hands a bag to the truck parked in front of us and then stand there for a minute. Obviously there was a mistake. They hand her back the bag and she walks up to us and asks if it's ours. I said, "Yeah, but didn't those people just take that bag from you?" She said, "They didn't TAKE it..." I first worked at McDonald's in 1993 and it was always the rule that if a customer touched the food and gave it back, you threw it away. You NEVER took food from one customer and gave it to another; not even sauce packets. Fast forward almost 30 years later in the Covid hype and she's trying to give me a bag of food that some stranger has just rifled through without gloves. Most of it was wrapped, but the hashbrowns were exposed. So I'm supposed to touch wrappers that his potentially filthy hands touched and then touch my food and then put it in my mouth? No. I didn't say all that to her, but I did tell her that since he touched it, I wanted my food remade. 10 minutes goes by and several other angry customers went back in for errors or forgotten items and finally she comes out and practically throws my bag at me. I enquired about my refund and she stomped away. Meanwhile, I check my food and it was all there, rock hard biscuits and all. She comes back with 11 cents. No. The upcharge, which may seem petty, but it was the principle, was 39 cents plus tax. She was very rude when I told her I didn't think this was right. I went in and the manager explains that a medium tea is also extra because they charge more for tea than soda. Technically, she says, tea is not a softdrink and they have a different owner and different prices than other stores. (Also different standards, apparently.) By this point, I'd had it with this store. I returned everything, got my money back and now we're picking up breakfast somewhere else. Between this experience and the dried out, disgusting burgers and fish we got last time, we will not EVER be back to that store. read more

1 star for providing the order correctly. Minus 4 stars for rude service and making my very hungry wife wait 30 minutes for a burger and fries. Just to be clear - it's not the cook's fault. Food was as-ordered; when my finally wife walked in after pulling out of the drive-through, everything was ready. The serve staff at the window are incompetent. read more

Usually somewhat slow. If ordering food in drive thru you will likely have to pull forward and park. Inside could use some housekeeping.

Needs better management. Needs to be cleaned. You have to ask for ketchup, napkins, salt and pepper. They only have out cup tops and straws. This takes more time for the employees, to handle every little thing. read more

Never decent service, poor training and understaffed. Waited ten minutrs to be acknowledged in the drive through and no one took our order. Food is either fried in old oil or comes out cold. Not worth the wait and having to repeat yourself because the person working the window has never done that job before (zero training) read more

I've gone to this McDonald's numerous times hoping they finally do something right. My one plus though was one evening I made a late night run for the wife and I. They got the order wrong (nothing new) but when I called, the manager was very nice and just told me to come in the next day to get a new sandwich. Now the bad. I've gotten yelled at through the drive thru speaker to slow down. All she had to do was nicely ask. The pace this McDonald's goes by in sending out their food is HORRENDOUS! sitting for 10+ minutes in a fast food drive thru is stupid. I swear half the workers cannot read. I cannot honestly think of a time where my order was 100% correct. I order mcdoubles with just ketchup. Come on! Now my most infuriating visit was during the free small iced coffee promo they were doing. I went inside to order one and a large ice tea. I received my cup for the ice tea, then I waited 20 minutes for a small iced coffee. They were not busy, the cashier looked at me standing there numerous times and said nothing. But the one thing that happened almost set me into making a public scene/calling their corporate office. An employee on break who ordered AFTER me,received her iced coffee first. Some may say, oh stop whining about this or that. You don't understand. Guess what, I worked at an even worse McDonald's for nearly 2 years. And we did better more often then this McDonald's. read more

15 mins Inside for a happy meal and 2 bacon mcdoubles, long lines at both drives nobody serving them and nobody with the headset on when I walked in there, heard an employee eventually say where is the headset, and employees arguing with each other in front of customers. Every last employee here should be fired. Message to owner...fire them all hire a manager that is actually good and rebuild around that manager that trains properly and won't allow this stuff to happen. And uve seen McDonald's with half the staff that was in there serving as many as were there easily and on time. This isn't the first time...at this location this is happening regularly. read more

Have never seen a McDonalds in such a state. Broken seats and chairs in the dining room. Broken soft drink machine. Second had some sort of drippings coming down from the ceiling. Urinals in men's room hadn't been cleaned in months or years. Counters by drink machine were filthy. Was told they didn't have any chicken tenders because they had all expired. Really? I enjoyed this restaurant, the people that work here smell great, like the best urinal cakes you've ever witnessed. The burgers are 80% artificial, and 130% unofficial. I went to take a dookie in the men's room, but to my utter surprise, all the toilets were broken, so I went on the front counter while the employees were busy on their hourly meth break. Unfortunately, it's pretty disappointing to realize that to get even a good McDonald's I have to go all the way to Elkhart that's just how bad this place is. One time, when we went through the drive thru, the lady don't even say which window to pull up to. We pulled up to the first, and nobody was there. After fifteen minutes of just sitting there, some guy comes and puts a sign that reads, " Please go to next window, thank you!" and he didn't even decide to help us out. He just puts the sign up, and walks away. You're kidding. Well that's the crappy McDonalds Of Nappanee that they are. And the new playplace? As a ten year old, I'm annoyed. We go to elkhart McDonald's the following day, only to see THE SAME EXACT PLAYPLACE. McDonald's makes that US 6 diner look good! Which the diner isn't bad it's just that McDonald's sucks. And Yelp has helped me get all that of my chest. I'm a can-do, will-do guy, and if I could, I wouldn't give McDonalds any stars. Or at least half a star. That is my review of the crappy McDonalds. Thanks for reading it! Have a nice day. Thomas S. Is right. Like he said, How is this place still open? read more

Can i give a zero star review? I guess not. Im aware that the bar is set super low for mcdonalds expectations. I expect shitty cheap food really fast. But i waited 20 minutes for an egg mcmuffin. Theres about 10 guests still waiting for the food they order 20 minutes ago. Theyve got plenty of staff back of the house, but they seem to be the most incompetent people ever to work in a fast food joint. Incomplete orders, horrendously slow wait times, and its a MCDONALDS. go to the burger king across the street. Thats what i should have done. read more
