I was at the bank nearby, and felt hungry, checked the review and was surprised that it got such a poor review especially for a national chain. I was mentally preparing for an awful experience but I was pleasantly surprised that it was not as awful as the other reviewer experienced. I think this one is considered pelican marsh its open 24 hrs and its just off 75 to the north and west. Major renovation done with new floor interior and exterior decor booths are very comfortable. Recently opened last November. Special order for burgers/ no mustard came as ordered. The regular tea was out but they had the sweetened. In spite of having a strong WiFi signal the speed was very slowwww to non existent. Mind you it wasn't busy at all only 4 customers around 3:00pm. Very uncalled for from the gentlemen guy. We went through the drive through and he got pissed off at us for trying to order (keep in mind we r 8 people and r about to spend 120 plus dollars). Overall I believe the gentlemen was very rude and inconsiderate and is not a good employee because he is very uncaring abt the company as a whole and overall is very selfish and only cares abt his experience as a worker when he should be caring most about the customers experience. On the hand the lady that we met at the window took charge of the bad situation her coworker had made for us and completely turned our experience around. Sad had 4 items the fries were changed slimed down by 30 40% not the same as the old fries. The quarter pounder was priced $4.70? something . the bun was smaller the 1/4 pounder seemed smaller less juicy and drier not the same old Quarter Pounder I Used to Know like and then I had the fish sandwich not very tasty fishie alright and smaller bun. This McDonald's used to be my favorite. It was clean and everything was fresh. What happened? It always looks dirty. The soda machine has not worked properly for over 3 months. Yesterday we went in and none of the kiosks were working so they had a line out the door. I understand there are staffing issues but there is no reason to not have a properly working soda machine for that long. I was told it was "mucho money" to buy a new one. Ok so Monday was not feeling very well and I drove myself to the Hospital around 2am. I got released and was hungry was about 4:45 and not knowing that McDonalds was open I pulled up at 4:45 and they took my order I drove up and a young man came to window and said computers were down! It would be a bit for my order! Well it's after 5 and he come to window and with sincerely, he sincerely apologizes for having to wait. You could tell they were short handed! Pathetic excuse for a McDonald's. The food was soggy and cold. I also asked for change for a 20 at the drive thru window, and she proceeded to tell me to go to the next window and ask for the manager. We ask the lady at the next window, and she doesn't speak English. After several minutes of asking multiple people they tell us that they can't help. How can you not provide me with change? Also, how do you work at McDonald's in the customer service window and not speak English? Very unorganized location. Will not be eating here again. The food is great but customer service can be abrupt. Placed an order on the self service kiosk and ran into issues; counter staff was unwilling to assist and I had to get the manager on duty to help. Manager on duty found my order and I was able to pay but the manager was a little on the abrupt side. UPDATE: There is a young man with glasses that works behind the counter that is very abrupt with customers and will get orders wrong. Perhaps Adams Foods, the franchise owner of this McDonald's, does not care about courteous customer service when it comes to treating customers. SECOND UPDATE: Restaurant staff cannot distinguish between eat in and take out orders. Went to the self service kiosk and selected my order for eat in; the counter staff brought my order to me in bag rather than on a tray and tried to forget my drink order that I had to remind them (I showed my receipt as proof). Just goes to prove that Adams Foods (the McDonald's franchise owner) pays lip service to customer service and their continued poor customer service well justifies a downgrade to one star. read more

The food is okay, the service has a lot to be desired. First of all, we've had quite a few occurrences where we've had to sit in line and wait for someone to take our order. We sit at the screen...waiting...waiting...waiting...for someone to take our order. The last time, we waited for almost 10 minutes until someone finally took our order. Then, we drive up to the window...with no one behind us...and wait another 5 minutes for the kid to open up the window and take our payment. I can see him standing there at the register, joking with the manager in the back, while we sit there waiting to give them our money. Secondly, there have been many times that they have gotten the order wrong. The last time, the person at the food window started arguing with my wife about what we ordered. My wife finally took our receipt and showed it to the woman to prove that we had indeed ordered a large drink and not a medium drink. It's all on their screen...it's not hard to get it right!! Thirdly, many times we've gotten the worst fries. They get in a rush and it seems that they pull them out of the frier a bit too early. I've lost count of the number of times that we've gotten lukewarm, soggy french fries. They're NOT appetizing when they're like that. We've been to many different McDonald's locations in multiple states and always seem to have good food and service. However, when we come back home, we have to deal with this. Yuck!! read more

CRAPPY, CRAPPY, CRAPPY. I went to this dump at 0430 this morning. No one was on the front counter. No one was in the lobby. The manager came in from outside and went right to the register. BASIC sanitation, which this franchisee ignores, requires hand-washing before taking orders and handling food. Not in this dump. I have yet to see anyone wash hands, even after handling trash cans, or touching their face and/or hair. I agree with Jeremy P. Tear this dump down, and fire everyone, including the franchisee. My order? A simple English Muffin, well done. This "manager" gave me a rock-hard BISCUIT. What a dolt. This is the second time I have ordered a muffin and was given a biscuit at one of this franchisee's locations. The first time this happened, one of the managers told the cashier that she heard me say "muffin." Being as the staff runs the management, that fell on deaf ears. This time, I gave the Biscuit-shaped rock back to the "manager" and told him I wanted a refund. I knew if I gave them the chance one of this crew would spit on my muffin. The female manager at this place is rude and does not know basic math (Sammy?). My bf came here about a week ago and they charged him about 2.49 for coffee he did not order. He told the manager and the manager said well do you want your change back. Why don't you drink it. My bf does not drink coffee. She gave us the wrong change and kept arguing how we should not get 2.49 back. We gave her the receipt to show the real price. She then refused to give the receipt back claiming we can no longer look at it. She left and started cursing, dropping f bombs. She came back and demanded us to give our food back.
