Really great McDonald's for kids! It has the largest play place I've ever seen, and my kids absolutely loved it. They could've stayed for hours. The food was just okay, pretty much what you'd expect from McDonald's, but honestly the play area is the main attraction here. Definitely a fun stop if you've got little ones! Quick food once ordered, came out in minutes. Tried the new huntress kpop demon hunters box, def not worth $11, but the kid liked it. read more

Just stopped in The drive thru as we wanted McD diet Cokes, over the speaker were asked to wait a moment. We waited 6 minutes, left and got gas. Came back 10 min later and went inside. The employee at the counter was telling her manager that someone needs to take orders on Lane number 1. We mentioned Ed we had waited and then left and came back. The manager explained that 3 people did not show up for work today, and they only had 3 employees working. We specifically stopped at here to get Diet Coke. Ordered and we were told that we could only get iced tea. This location has problems. read more

This place is ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS do not come to this location!!!!! First of all they gave us somebody else's order and took forever and when they finally did give us the correct order the bun on my burger was hard as a rock. Also the tables were sticky and disgusting they looked like they were never cleaned. The worst part is this business is supposed to be open 24 hours but apparently not when the workers decide they don't wanna work anymore cause at around 2 am a guy marched into the play place area and told us to leave because there were only a few people working and they were gonna close the lobby. It's just a bunch of ghetto kids that don't wanna do there job!! read more

Ordered chicken nugget meal and 2 McDoubles. They gave me a barbecue chicken sandwich in a nuggets box (didn't notice until I got home, super disappointed) the McDoubles were flattened and covered in grease and seemed 12 hours old. They were disgusting. Young guy at the pickup window seemed really flustered. It sounded like they messed up the order in front of me too. read more

Came to eat for lunch but ended up eating stale fries for dinner. Staff also decided today wasn't the day to wear hairnets. Not to mention the 6th Great Lake at the soda dispensary. Also ran out of Coke. How in God's name do you run out of Coke??? read more

this gets a one star review the service here is unacceptable. I went to the front counter and waited 10 minutes before other customers had to tell me that they weren't gonna come to the counter and I had to order from the electronic thing. TLDR: IF YOU COME HERE GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU - coming inside isn't worth it. We stopped here for a late lunch on the way through. The building was nice enough BUT - We ordered at one of the kiosks then sat down. A guy then came and sat at the table behind me. The restaurant had plenty of open tables where he didn't have to be right behind us. Then he asked if we could give any of our food that we didn't finish. Then he started getting into a backstory and I couldn't really understand what he was saying. Before he'd started talking, he was making me uncomfortable. My dad told him that we were just trying to enjoy our lunch. The man sat there for a while before he got up and (as he walked away) told us that he "hoped we ***-****** starved." And he said it loud enough I think a nearby family could hear it. And they had young(er) kids. And surely some of the employees/the manager heard it. And as far as getting our food - we'd ordered at one of the kiosks and took a table #/tent as instructed. We sat down at a table and had the above encounter. The last we'd heard of our order was that they were making the medium vanilla shake I'd ordered. We'd only ordered a single quarter pounder, a single plain cheeseburger w/ only ketchup, a med Coke, and a med vanilla shake. Well, the above encounter happened and we still waited. Eventually, my dad got up to see what was taking so long. The manager said that it was right there on the counter. She said that they were short staffed and couldn't do table service. Which I get, but why didn't she call out that our order was ready and to pick it up at the counter? The restaurant was empty & quiet enough that we could've heard her call it out. The whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths. read more

I usually wouldn't review a fast food chain however this location was absolutely horrible. Traveling for the holidays and stopped here for coffee and fries. Ordered my food and proceeded through the drive through. We waited forever! No exaggeration it was at least 15 minutes! Not sure what was going on or why the heck card weren't asked to pull up and orders brought out to them when ready to keep their line moving. Get to the window and speak to the lady who completely disregards the acknowledgment and says nothing. Get my items and thankful that the bag is warm so thinking my fries are hot and fresh. Wrong, they are all burnt. Complete waste of time. read more

If you come through the drive-thru, beware of the manager and her coworkers talking smack about you in Spanish because they think you can't understand them. Also, if your card can't be tapped, tell them upfront to avoid the aneurism since they don't know how to insert the chip. Honestly, this place is a laughing stock. read more

If a negative starts were possible this place would have -5! I just went through the drive through I had to restart my order 5 different times. The lady working the window did not know what she was doing. After my order was finally placed they gave me the complete wrong thang. After telling them Jt was not right they tried to reassure me that i was the one in the wrong and they were right. I than had to go inside and have them get me the right order. And once again they have me the wrong order. The food at this establishment was soggy and not good at all. If you go Mount Vernon, Illinois, do not go to McDonald's on Potic Avenue!!!!! read more

We pull up to the drive through and it has a lot of good items on the menu. Too bad they are all discontinued. We asked for glazed tenders. They no longer carry them. Etc etc etc. Then they add more food to our order, said it was less, but charged more. It's way over the time we should have been gone. Each fry should have at least 3 crunches to each bite. Believe me. I know. My kids have loved fries for the longest. But this place is never hit or miss. It's always miss. Won't be back! Now it's taking forever for them to change our order to where it was right. Overcharged and order short. Smh. Do not recommend!!!! read more

Yes, I know I promised not to review any more McDonalds but this ones a trip. There is actually a Greyhound bus ticket agent inside the McDonalds. Well, its rural Illinois and everyone has to do double duty. Warning, last gas stop headed west on I-64, fast food choices are few and far between past here headed West. The place is good enough, food typical McDonalds, but a word of advice to the manager, time to change the grease/oil in the fryer - dude, its past its prime. read more

Last couple times I have gone I have been very sorry I went! Used to love their French fries and even those haven't been good.

Came through to order something small to eat. We ordered a large coke, two cheese burgers, a McChicken, and a double cheeseburger. The lady at the first window was very nice and payed us out. As soon as we got to the second window we notice that all the workers had masks. That would be mice except the fact that the manager in the blue shirt wasn't using hers OR WEARING GLOVES! The signs on the door indicate 24-hour drive through and lobby opening at 4 am. Yet at 4:30 am on a Tuesday, there was no response at the drive through window and the doors were locked.
