The manager who looks like she tied two dirty mops into her hair should be fired for the way the shift was run tonight. In a 20 minute period I saw 4 separate parties walk out because the kiosks were slow. One guy wanted to pay with cash. Simply asked if he could use cash at the kiosk. The staff was rude. When customers asked questions for assistance, the response was "use the kiosk, we aren't taking orders at the register, that is what the kiosk is for!" Not all customers have received the proper training to work at McDonald's yet! Horrible customer service and business model! If you can afford to let customers walk, you can afford to pay me when I have to do YOUR job to get MY food! If you want me to do your job, at least give me access to the cups and condiments! This McDonalds in Milledgeville, GA on Columbia Street charged me for an order I never got and will not answer the phone to resolve it. I was passing through Milledgeville tonight and placed a mobile order on my phone for a McFlurry with a side of caramel to pick up as I was about to drive in to the Drive Thru. I got to the speaker told them my mobile order number/name and then they advice me their ice cream machine is down. (Big Surprise Right). Anyways the lady said not to worry that I will not be charged and apologized. Well a few minutes later I get a receipt for $.27 cent for the side of caramel I ordered with the McFlurry I never got. I tried to call the restaurant several times and let it ring until Verizon disconnected the call which further made me ill, then I wrote McDonalds corporate who probably will not respond as I imagine they get thousands of complaints a day, but it is just the principal of it all and nothing working as it should. I may call my Credit card company to dispute the charge, but don't feel like having them issue me a new card incase they say they have to. So be forewarned if you use the mobile app and they don't have what you ordered that you may be charged for something you didn't get. It could have been worse and thankfully they at least didn't charge me for the McFlurry. I even uploaded my receipt to show you this is for REAL! read more

I usually try to stay as far as I can away from McDonalds restaurants, but sometimes that little kid in me craves that type of food. This past Saturday I got a craving for pancakes, but didn't really feel like cooking so I had two options; IHOP or McDonalds. I decided to go for Micky D's just because they had a drive-thru and I didn't really feel like having to wait. As I pulled up to the drive-thru I got the now standard McDonalds recording welcoming me and asking if I wanted to try such and such. I really hate these prerecorded greetings; there should be an actual person that welcomes you at the drive-thru like we had in the old days and not some computer generated voice. But after placing my order for an order of hot cakes I was given a total and told to pull around to the 1st window by a very nice human voice on the other end. After pulling to the first window and paying the lady was very nice and asked how my morning was going and wished me a great day ahead. I then pulled to the 2nd window where another lady gave me my food order and also was very pleasant as well. Although these were not the best pancakes I ever had, just the smell and taste of them brought back memories past when as a child we would come to this same McDonalds for breakfast on Saturday mornings. It might be a while before I go back, but this was one of the more friendly Mickey D's that I've had the pleasure of visiting in a long while. read more

My husbabd loves mcdonallds and i go there mostly for his benefit. Saw something today worth a shout out! This McDonald's has great service! They're offering a new kiosk ordering system. Ordered a specialty 1/3 pound burger...chose my bun, toppings, sauces, etc. Wasn't sure how to use the kiosk and they patiently walked me thru the process big smiles in hand. The burger was surprisingly good! Way to go guys! I've attached a pic...Looks great huh? McDonald's. ..who knew?!?! Btw...there's extra parking for trailers. A couple of change suggestions ..make the order "light buzzer?" On a stand so the server can locate the customer without having to ask everyone sitting around if it's there order. Come to this McDonalds "regularly" and no matter how hard I try to check it never fails they leave something out of the bag. Today it was ketchup and the wrong sauce for the Chicken McNuggets. I only go to this McDonald's because the one over on S. Wayne Street is further from me, and the one in Walmart is the one in Walmart. I REALLY enjoy coming to this McDonald's because of the cleanliness of the restaurant and exuberance shown by the employees. Today, I ordered breakfast just before the cut-off time of 10:30 and was able to get my Egg White Delight and Mickey D's Sweet Tea. The sandwich was hot and delicious. The sweet tea was freshly made. The restaurant itself was packed, but the employees were handling it and I only waited 20 seconds for my sandwich. After using the Wi-Fi available in the restaurant for half an hour, I decided to have lunch there, too. I went to the counter and ordered me one of the new Habanero Ranch Quarter Pounders. They are spicy and far superior to any sandwich I've had from McD's before. There was a new employee cleaning up the restaurant with a broom and cloth, and as he passed by my table, I struck up a conversation with him. I asked him if he tried one of these new sandwiches and he told me that he had not, and that it was actually his first day on the job. He was doing really well for a first day on the job. I will continue to only visit this McDonald's because it's not just the great food that brings me back, but the great atmosphere! read more

I just finished a long drive back to school on a cloudy day and decided to stop by McDonalds for a coffee, and I'm so glad I did! The lady that took my order on the drive-thru greeted me so kindly, I could feel her positive energy through the screen. She even asked my preference about how I would like the sugar in my coffee, "Kinda sweet, really sweet, or regular?" She was so friendly and helpful because I really am particular about my coffee sweetness! Then I pulled up the window and another woman greeted me politely and she was a pleasure to interact with too. When I pulled up to get my coffee the woman was waiting there for me ready to go with my delicious iced coffee. 10/10 customer service! This place sucks. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with a water cup. My friends did a separate order and ordered two water cups. We only received two. They did not ring up the second one on the first order and when we went back around the woman at the window said we would have to go back around a THIRD TIME and pay to get the water we ordered the first time around and didn't receive. She had such a bad attitude and they gave us a small sweet tea that we didn't even order that we had to pay for. So we did end up paying for three drinks. They also missed A WHOLE HAPPY MEAL. They were not helpful and not attentive. This is the WORST mcdonald's i've ever been to and their ice cream machine was broken but we all know that just means they're lazy. More than 10 times- hamburger full of onions- I asked for no onions More than 5 times- ice cream machine broken- it happens every time between 10-10:30pm on weekdays and later on weekends. Given sweet tea for unsweetened, at least 10 times. Was asked once to pull forward to wait for a cup of unsweetened tea only, nothing else was ordered. The incident that prompted this review: Arrived at 11:30pm on Saturday (they close at 12am), the menu was lit and so was the inside restaurant. No one answered when we went to the drive in order area. We then felt something might be wrong with the employees, we went to window, didn't see anyone, but we tapped on the window to see if they were okay. The manager came to window and said she closed early because she didn't have any help. At least turn the lights off, if you are closed. There were other customers waiting at the drive up also. Great. What next for McD ? I used to love to take my family for our favorite burger -the $1.00 Double Cheese Burger. (We are not rich and have to watch our finances) They have increased the price from $1.00 to $1.67. This adds a fair amount to my bill. Sorry McD, looks like my loyalty has come to an end. Today, June 28, 2018, about 1:00 p.m. our two granddaughters from out of town wanted to eat at this McDonalds. We went through the Drive-Thru. Their order was simple, two happy meals, but one wanted a cheeseburger with ketchup and pickle only. The lady on the speaker was laughing at something and repeated our order wrong, twice. She repeated it accurately on Try Three. When we arrived at the window to pay, the cashier repeated our order, wrong again. Twice, again. We were patient and calm, simply restating our exact order each time. As a former radio announcer, I believe I spoke clearly. We pulled up to the window to receive our food, and half of it came quickly. We were asked to pull forward for the remaining items, which we did without hesitation. The wait was about 6 minutes, a little long perhaps, but not outrageous. When the remaining item arrived, we checked before driving away. Good thing. In place of the cheeseburger with ketchup and pickles only was one with everything, including onions and mustard. Our 8-yr. old granddaughter was not going to touch it. I parked on the other side of the building and went inside to ask for a replacement, taking my receipt. I waited in line about 5 minutes. The server did not apologize for the inconvenience, but called out the correct ingredients to the folks on the boards in the back, who were laughing and carrying on so loudly that evidently they were unable to hear. The second cheeseburger came, and I took it back out to the car. It was exactly same way as the first. I took it back in, waiting in line once again. I respectfully asked for exactly what we wanted, and the same worker once again called out the order. When it came, I again took it to the car, happy that they had finally gotten it right. Wrong! We discovered that this third "cheeseburger" had only cheese and tiny, solitary pickle. No meat. At that point, my wife, a mild mannered church organist, took over. She took that non-burger in and asked to speak to the Manager. She described our difficulty in getting a very simple order right. The Manager spoke to her workers, and finally we received a cheeseburger with nothing but ketchup and pickles. The Manager did not apologize, but offered some free food on our next visit. My wife smiled and said there would not be a next visit, ever. The Manager then apologized and offered two complimentary chocolate chip cookies, which we accepted. All McDonalds are not created equal, I know, but this one is the worst we've ever tried. If I could give then zero stars I would. Since I cannot, one will have to do, though it is too generous. read more
