I am not sure why this McDonald's has such negative reviews. The cashier was pleasant. I appreciated that he was also present and ready to take orders up front. I prefer not to use those kiosks. The annoying things were: 1) There was no soda fountain in the dining room. I had wanted to put a splash of regular Coke into my Diet Coke which was the only reason I came into the restaurant rather than just go through the drive-thru. I didn't want to ask the cashier to do that special order for me so I just ended up with straight Diet Coke. 2) The entire first row of parking is taken up with 5 curbside pickup spots. All were empty when I arrived. All were empty for the duration of time I was inside. All are still empty now that I am leaving. Too many of these, none of which are being used resulted in me needing to park annoyingly far away. (Not to mention, there are also two spots close to the entrance that are for drive-this waiting.) Food was fresh & served hot. Very tasty apart from the lettuce. There were large chucks of hard lettuce... the kind you find at the base of the head of lettuce. I spit quite a bit of that out. Service was efficient. Over all, I enjoyed my experience. No playground here (for those with kids).Ambiance too sterile and minimalistic for my taste. Christmas was a busy day and I didn't feel like cooking, so I decided to order McDonalds. I logged into the app and most of the store said closed for the holiday (which I thought was a great gesture to their employees). However, this location said it was open and the app allowed me to submit my order. I drove out of my way to come to this location, only to find out that it was also closed for Christmas. I tried to cancel my order on the app but it said the store had already started making my order (even though it most certainly hadn't). The meal is just big enough that it's perfect for me. We got here at 10:20 in the morning. I didn't want breakfast so we waited in the car for 10 minutes and went in. I enjoyed the McDonald's fish fillets. Those might be my favorite. Besides the filet, I really liked the spicy chicken for a while. Eventually the spicy chicken got too spicy for me. It got difficult for me to eat. I had a hard time eating it. Even if I drank water my tongue was too spicy. Sometimes the cheese is centered. Sometimes the cheese is flashing off the filet. I like it when it is centered because I can eat it evenly. The fish fillet doesn't have much else on it. I like it fresh and hot with a soft bun and crispy filet. I also love McDonalds fries. The fries are tasty when crispy and hot. I like that on the app I can get a free large fry some days when I make a purchase. The app is great. I just don't like all the space it takes on my phone. Apps are slower than just using a website. It is tiring remembering all my passwords. I change my passwords all the time when I forget. read more
