There's always some mexican lady running the drive through and she cannot understand english at all. every time i go through the drive through, I'll say something I want, she'll put some random thing up, and before I can correct it she completes it and I have to go pay for it. Terrible. I came at 8:15 through the drive through, no one responded to the speaker after a few minutes I had to pull around to the window and knock on it. A kid came and I explained what happened and he told me to wait one second. I waited 2 minutes and he came back and said just a couple more minutes. These workers are awesome. They are constantly shuffling back and forth to get food ready for delivery (DoorDash) and people in the drive through. I definitely commend the hard work they do. I've never had an issue and am always thankful for the hustle. read more

This place needs to be shut down. Having a bad day as it is, running late for plans in madison just trying to get something quick to eat. I stumbled upon this rats nest. Now I know, as a McFarland resident I should know never to go to this shit hole but the line at Culver's was to the road so I was left no choice. I come up to order, "2 McDoubles only ketchup, large fry, and small chocolate shake." Now I understand it is sometimes hard to hear people talking as I worked at a McDonald's from ages 14-17, but I have to repeat myself about 3 times before he gets it. I get to the window to pay, he reads me my order which was excellent, first time for everything I guess, but of course it's wrong. So I correct him FACE TO FACE " two McDoubles only ketchup, large fry and a small chocolate shake." Now as all of this is happening, I've had one car in front of me and one behind me, no one that was in line before that. Explain to me how all three of us are moved to parking spots to wait for our food?? Why even have these stores is they can't be ran efficiently? After 5-10 more minutes of sitting in this parking spot i finally get my food. I'm in a rush to get headed to Madison so I head right home and sure enough I open up a bag of large unsalted fries, 2 hamburgers only ketchup :)))))))). And when you do order careful if you use the app the main manager might tell you to fuck off for using the wrong deal like he did to us. So a few weeks ago I ordered large fries from the drive-thru to eat with my sister. It was around 8 or 9 p.m. and almost time for closing, but the staff made me fresh fries. I was happy until I started eating them. I know that restaurants can't be 100%, free from bacteria and insects, but at least I thought McDonald's would check the food they serve. I know that a lot of McDonald's restaurants are unhygienic and a bit dirty, but I never expected to find a bug in my fries. I know it's summer and bugs enter now and then, but still!!! At least it wasn't alive. I would give zero stars if I was given the option. I found a dead mosquito in my fries. I know a mosquito doesn't sound like much, but finding any type of bug in the food you order is absolutely disgusting. I will never eat fries from this McDonald's again!!! read more

Extremely disgusted with how this McDonald's is run. I understand that it's a McDonalds and not much should be expected, but this was downright outrageous. I waited 15 minutes for 2 orders of chicken nugget meals even though I was the only one that had ordered at the counter. While I was waiting, the staff were yelling at each other, asking "who farted?" and using the word "f****t" and "f***" many times. Swearing and everything is fine when you're with your friends or at home. I could care less about how they handle their personal lives. But when they use language like that in their workplace is completely disgusting. Especially in front of their manager, me, and a mother with two young children that heard every word. No customer should have to listen to that while eating food with their kids. The manager passively addresses it by telling them to get back to work and they didn't really listen. Most of them were complaining about how work sucked and they wanted to go home. I'm not naïve, I know that being at work isn't always fun. However, whining about it within visual and auditory range of your customers is unacceptable. One worker was using her bare hands to pick fries out of the fryer and eat them before I got my fries, so I had to ask for new ones. On top of all that, I have a medical device on my face because my stomach is partially paralyzed, and workers were staring and talking about it behind my back. I understand some curiosity is normal, but the way it was handled was completely inappropriate. The manager offered me a couple pies to make up for everything, which I turned down because I was only there to get food for my family since I cannot eat regular food. This isn't the first time I've had bad service at this store either. Other nights I've tried going through the drive-through well before closing time, but all the lights were off and all of the employees were outside the front of the store smoking cigarettes. I would rate this store 0/5 stars if it was possible. Needless to say, many big changes need to take place if they want to have even basic customer service. read more

This small McDonald's is attached to a gas station. I'm normally much of a fan of McDonald's but, this one impressed me. I am ranking it compared to an average McDonald's. This is pretty new, very clean, and also convenient. As with others, it has free wi-fi. They were moderately busy when I placed my order. The server was very polite and friendly. My food came quickly and had obviously been freshly made. So, while I'm not generally a fan of McDonald's, in general, this one is better than average and i would stop there again if I needed a quick meal on the run. read more

I went through the drive through and ordered. The lady at the window repeated my order to me for confirmation and then handed me my bag of food. Granit the wait was a bit longer than expected, I was pleased by her friendliness tone. Upon driving to work and parking, I opened my back to find items missing. After double checking my receipt, I called them and told them they need to double check orders and that my order wasn't complete. I WAS OFFERED no refund, no apology, and poor tone of the phone. I was thank for notifying them. All in all. Mcdonalds is Mcdonalds, but id prefer to drive to another town if it came to it. read more

Of all the McDonalds I have been to, this one has the most unprofessional staff when it comes to drive thru etiquette. Granted, staff must get bored when working a long shift, but all I want to do is order my food, pay for that food, grab that food, and get on my way, not participate in an inside joke crafted by the drive thru staff. For a smaller McDonalds, you wouldn't notice as the menu is complete as far as I can tell. The food tastes like you'd expect from a McDonalds, so no surprises there. read more

Stopped in this morning with my husband- started placing an order at the speaker but before we could place our whole order, we were asked to pull to the 1st window. No big deal. But then we get to the 1st window, told the kid our order but he was having issues. So he asked another guy to come help him. Again, no big deal. The 2nd guy comes to the window and asked if we had ordered yet....ummmmm.....NOPE! Please keep in mind all we ordered was 2 breakfast sandwiches and a sweet tea. Shouldn't be that hard. When we pulled up to get our order, I was handed my sweet tea. I took a drink while we waited for our food only to discover it was water. I handed it back and nicely explained it was not sweet tea.... my husband and I watched this girl dump 9 sugar packets into the water and hand it back to me!!! Seriously??? I then gave it back and said nevermind, I dont want a drink. She asked "why, what's wrong" are you kidding me... you literally just gave me sugar water!!!!
