Okay I just came in town to deliver for DG across the street came into this well kept establishment. I read all the reviews before I made this. Just to say. Go in and order around night time. The food was all fresh every detail was perfect this was honestly the best McDonalds experience I've had in a while. It's been like 16 years to be exact. Sorry I have no pictures. consistently bad service but this is the worst by far. pulled up to the drive through and got told to wait a second so i did, and then another car pulled up to the second order screen and they took their order as well as the car behind them. i had to ask for their attention before they took my order. i waited for my food for almost 20 minutes and they then only handed me half of what i order and had to take it back when i corrected them. then they handed me what i believed to be my correct order but when i got home it was a completely different order that i was unable to eat. ive had bad service at this location almost everyone i've gone but never this bad read more

Went through the drive through at 9 pm, placed my order and waited 21 minutes (before even paying) only to be given cold food and without part of my order. They did however give me warmer fries (first thing I felt in the bag and pointed it out to the server). Will not be going back any time soon read more

This McDonalds needs a lot of improvements starting with their staff. We order through door dash a lot and they constantly get orders wrong once I got one and they put the hot food in the same bag as the cold drinks then other times they left items out that we paid for. Today I just got our order and two of the meals I ordered we didn't get our fries! This is why I'm not very sympathetic to hear that fast food worker want $15/hr pay you don't deserve it! Very nice new restaurant . Breakfast is my favorite. Best coffee in Mayfield. Quick service always. Only thing bothers me is asking for condiments?? Why should it not be protocol to ensure this is done. Employees are very stingy with this part of the meal? One should not have to beg for sauces or how many.. 90% of time in drive through, they leave them out?? Sonic ,Captain Ds , Wendy's , Hardee's always ask and never look at you silly when you ask for extra ... Even Dairy Queen provides plenty.. If you can't afford to give the customer ample condiments, at your prices on meals numbered. You should charge less. We can get it elsewhere. What's up with that. Each employee acts the same. Like it comes out of their paychecks... I suggest you ask what is needed. Fill the orders. Tell me why you apparently train employees to do this. Your meals are not cheap, Compared to other food chains... Even Burger King loads you up?? Get this fixed. It's a major complaint, I hear from Everyone in mayfield, that Buys food there??? The people are friendly but the service sucks pretty bad. If you ask for ketchup or sauce they say it's in the bag. Once you open the bag, guess what no ketchup, no napkins, no salt, nada. It must be some type of conspiracy to save condiments at this McDonald's because the same thing happened 3 times. The soda taste watered down, the lemonade had no sugar. Beware of Mayfield, KY McDonald's. Unless you like HAIR burgers. 4 of them in fact, 2 you will be able to see in the pictures and 2 that I spit into the toilet that had made it to my mouth. Mistakes happen but when you call to tell them you are disrespected and told I had to drive back across town from where I live to the restaurant at 9:30 pm. They told me that they all wear headnets, so? Well I drove back with the burger in a zip lock bag the Mgr refused to talk to me as I told her I was recording. Well, now the Health Department gets the burger, Mr. Mike Love gets a phone call, McDonald's Corporate gets notified, McDonald's www.mcdvoice gets it AND Social Media gets it. We were on our way to discovery park and my family decided to stop by i ordered a number 2 meal with a large sweet tea with light ice when I got my meal I put my hash brown on my lap and it burned my crotch. This hash brown was smoking hot after that rude awakening I decided to eat my sausage mc muffin with egg so I pulled it out of the wrapper and the whole thing was burnt. I had to plug my nose to eat this piece of junk it was terrible. after the bad meal I decide to take a drink. they filled my light iced tea full of ice. Although these folks are often friendly, my order is incorrect nearly five times out of ten. This stinks when you don't check the bag and head to work (a school for me) and find you don't have your child's breakfast or part of yours. My insurance guy walked in once and had a chicken sandwich in his bag after ordering a double cheeseburger. He can't eat chicken, so have it away and had no lunch. My husband was once handed a bag that they mistakenly gave to the car waiting beside him and then took back to give to us. (Can we say health code violation)? They need to get their act together a bit more. We pretty much only come now for a last minute coffee. read more

the Mayfield Kentucky mcdonalds used to be the fastest and most efficient store I've encountered in my travels, but since they tore down the building and put up a new one, it is horrible. I gave them another chance today. I ordered a number 5 nugget meal, 10 piece nugget, and a number 7 crispy chicken meal. we waited 15 minutes in drive thru, the girl taking money was very grouchy and snippy (I get along with everyone) they had us pull forward to window 2 to wait.. another 10 minutes... when they finally came out with our food, we had to hurry home. at home we pulled out our food and the nuggets were nuked, which left them extremely hard and tasteless. the chicken sandwich was another story as the bread was nuked, rock hard, and I couldn't even get my teeth in... the lettuce was wilted and mushy.. the tomato hot and dry. I tried to call and let the manager know but no one would pick up the phone. I usually suck it up and eat whatever I am served but this is the only meal I have eaten all day and I was really looking forward to a nice delicious meal. I am extremely disappointed. read more

Visited this site today. Ordered through the drive thru. No problems, all signage and lights work properly. The lady taking my order was professional and it was correct. I pulled up to the window to pay. The lady taking my money reviewed my order back for accuracy. It was correct. I pulled up to the second window to collect my food. The food was ready quickly. The sandwich was warm, the fries, not so, but not so old that they were completely horrible. Overall, I would recommend this location. The food, while not 5 star quality was still more than acceptable from a fast food restaurant. The staff was not only friendly, but also double checked my order for accuracy. This is important to someone like myself that is traveling and I don't have the option to turn around and go back. read more
