I am comparing this to other McDonalds and not anything else. They have renovated this McDonalds location with modern looking tables and bright colored chairs. Two round tables in the seating area, and an island with multi-colored stools. They also have two Coca Cola soda machines. The food is, well, McDonalds. Same as any other McDonalds around the country. For a McDonalds, 4 stars for its techie look and feel, but deleting one star for the order inside to arrive. Took forever!!! read more

The employees are rude as hell. I understand working in the food industry can be stressful but you know what you sign up for when you apply to a job and just because you're miserable doesn't mean you need to let it out on people you don't even know. Anyways, I went at 10pm and ordered food they said their ice cream machine was broken which is fine (which McDonalds ever has a working ice cream machine?) so then I asked for a smoothie and they said they couldn't make it which was weird because I'm sure your blender works. The young brunette girl hands me my stuff and slams the drive thru window. I correct her and say it's not mine (politely) and she gets upset and says "what do you want" I asked for a sauce and she hands me one and I asked for one more from there she wants to charge me $1.00 for 1 more sauce and says I need to go around the drive thru again to order it. Instead of being rude and having the possibility of creating a line I go back in a circle and get to the menu/ordering machine and she answers the mic to say "we are closed." It's only 10:25pm and it says they don't close until 12am. Smh. This is one of the worst run McDonalds. Always out of stock on basics and disorganized as can be. You would think whomever owns this franchise might take pride, however the whole city of Manteca has fallen into this trap of just poorly run. 11 months before the post above: What a joke. They argued about sauces, the printed tags for the burgers for the extras I paid and did it completely wrong. Drove into the drive thru for lunch today. The menu board was blank except for the order for the car in front of us. When my husband asked if they could put the menu up the person working the drive thru was quiet. About 2 minutes later he asked again. The person said they don't control that and we just needed to order what was displayed. He again said there is nothing there. Then another person got on and rudely said they don't control the screen. This is the worst McDonald's ever the food is always luke warm they screw up the order and today their sweet tea had no sugar.

My wife and I wanted a cold dessert from McDonald's last night and rolled into the drive thru around 7:30.  With a double lane drive thru we started our order.  The ice cream machine was broke down again.  Seems to be a pattern.  The rudeness and the carelessness of the person on the microphone was horrible - terrible customer service.  I was also stuck in a line of two cars behind me and i was stuck - I had to wait to get out of the line.  The woman just did not care - no apologies, no nothing - This is the last time we will go to this McDonalds.  You guys really have to get it together on customer service and maintenance and repairs. read more

I sure wish McDonalds would stop being contradictory. On the one hand, they really want you to use their phone app or in-store kiosks to order so that their employees can focus on drive they and not the front counter. On the other hand though, they want to pretend to be getting more upscale by giving you delivery out to your table. This table side delivery wastes time of their employees as they are frequently sent back for condiments needed by the guest. I refuse to use the kiosk for the unsanitary conditions as seen on my photo from this morning. Not only that, I have given in after being ignored at the counter for ten minutes and used their kiosk just to find out the credit card machine doesn't work and I STILL have to go see a human at the front counter. Cash payers must always go to the counter so why have have these stupid machines! I used their app for a couple of months then it glitches and took payment from my bank account 11 times and didn't even get the order to the restaurant. I've always been a die hard Mcdonalds customer since I worked for them while in college, however, they have to be having issues with the changes they are implementing and losing customers.
