Drive thru
Jason S.

The food is very meh. It's only good if you're in a hurry and there are no good options available. Service is ok and for the most part people are friendly. The restaurant itself? Why go inside. You're in a hurry. So do the drive thru and get out. It's not worth going inside for a McDonald's?

My sister ordered breakfast for the kids while at greatwolf lodge. I went to go pick it up and got there just in time , was ignored while every employee was back there gossiping and on their phones, straight pulling their phones out of their pockets and showing eachother stuff and then going straight back to work with the food . I finally got asked what I needed and I told them my code ... I was told we can't get your order anymore because it's past breakfast time. Mind you it was 10:32 and my sister marked there on the app before 10:30, I clearly ask for manager who comes out telling us oh well we needed to be there on time . I said um we were but weren't helped in time as all your employees were on their phones, which is disgusting , I work with food as QA so the fact your cook put her food straight on all the silverware and half on someone's order was disgusting to watch. The order was placed at 10am. No reason it shouldn't have been filled on time let alone not one employee should have their phones on them let alone taking them out with their gloves on. FOOD INSPECTORS PLEASE COME SHUT THEM DOWN. On top of arguing with the manager for 10minutes when we tried to finally cancel because I didn't even want to eat at a place so nasty we got told it was too late.the point of ordering in advance is to have the food ready. Do and be better

My 60% full fresh fries

Consistently get order wrong, fill cups about 80%, and fries are only about 60% full on a regular basis. Very rarely do they add the extras I pay for. I pay $3 for 3 sandwich's to have cheese and rarely do they put cheese. It's not that hard.

Standard issue McDonalds breakfast which for some reason is always so tasty. When we get this it's usually drive through but went inside and this one had a fully automated order kiosk, so that was interesting. They got us our food fast and the place has a very modern look did not feel like the old Ronald McDonald vibe, then realized this is a McCafe....whatever that means. Service was good and they were friendly.

The people were nice, but you now have to order either through the app or on the kiosk, which requires you to put the app on your phone to complete the order. Go somewhere wide where there are friendly staff to take your order. It's very sad how they sing even have a person at the counter unless you call to them to give you napkins (none given when they brought our tray to the table) no straw for the milk, only a couple packets of ketchup so we had to go ask for that, you have to wait and ask for a refill of soda. Go to In n Out for better food, prices and excellent service.

Outside. Order pick up

Went today (3/16) for a Shamrock Shake. Nope! The excuse? "The machine is down...". I guess all the memes are accurate.

A must-visit restaurant in Manteca!…read more Besitos Fine Cuisine has been one of my favorite local spots for years! Back when I worked for the City of Manteca, they frequently catered our events, and the food was always something to look forward to. My coworkers and I also made it a tradition to visit the restaurant about once a month for breakfast or brunch, and it never disappointed! The food is absolutely delicious, with a fantastic variety of options to choose from. You can tell there's real care and attention put into what they serve. The staff has always been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Now, I'll admit, it's definitely on the pricier side, but in my experience, the quality of the food, the selection, and the wonderful service make it worth every penny. I love supporting local businesses that consistently deliver great experiences, and Besitos is one of those places I genuinely enjoy recommending. Whether you're a Manteca local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast or brunch. Definitely a local gem worth visiting!

We wouldn't have come here if we knew that, considering there is mimosas in the pictures. Other than that, cute place if you don't mind serving yourself, including water and lemonade. The staff was super nice but the food was mediocre. The biscuit was really dry and a tad hard. The sausage is Italian Sausage and it seemed pink in the middle. The gravy has sage in it. Lots and lots of flies, even with the fans. We wouldn't go back.

We were lucky enough to sit at the breakfast bar, where we could watch the cook prepare our meal. It was impressive to see the care, skill, and attention to detail that went into everything. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we felt right at home. We highly recommend The Mangy Moose Cafe and look forward to coming back!

The Mangy Moose is exactly the kind of place I love stumbling across. It has a genuine old-school…read morediner feel that you just don't get from the big chain restaurants anymore. The place is narrow, with a long counter running down the length of it and additional seating tucked away in the back. Grab a seat at the counter and the grill is literally right on the other side, so you get a front-row seat to the action while your breakfast is being made. And honestly, the entertainment is half the experience. The cooks and wait staff are constantly joking, talking, and giving each other a hard time. Their friendly banter is so natural that I found myself wondering if this was a family-run business. Whether it is or not, they definitely have that kind of chemistry. They also seemed to know just about every regular who walked through the door. Between the conversations, laughter, open grill, and familiar faces, I couldn't help thinking I'd somehow wandered onto an episode of Cheers, only instead of sitting at the bar with a beer, I was at the counter with coffee and a seriously impressive breakfast. I ordered The Moose Omelet, and apparently the moose isn't just there for decoration. This thing is a beast. Four eggs packed with crisp bacon, linguica, sausage, ham, green onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, and thin-sliced potatoes that reminded me of scalloped potatoes, all folded into the omelet and blanketed with melted cheddar cheese. Their homemade pico was delicious and went perfectly with the omelet. What I liked most about The Mangy Moose is that it doesn't feel manufactured or overly polished. It's a real neighborhood diner with character, generous food, friendly people, and the kind of atmosphere that's becoming harder and harder to find. I may have walked in as the new guy, but it definitely feels like the kind of place where, after a few visits, everybody really would know your name. I'll be back. Five stars.

I ordered a plate of crispy hashbrowns topped with tender pulled pork, smothered in rich, creamy gravy, and sprinkled with fresh jalapeños for a perfect kick. It was comforting without being heavy, like a warm hug you didn't know you needed. But the best part? They had fun flavored mimosas that made brunch feel like a celebration. We tried a few different flavors, and each one was bright, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the savory food. (Rachel Green would approve.) The staff was friendly, kept the coffee refills coming, and made us feel welcome without hovering. The prices were fair, and the portions were generous enough to leave you full but not overly stuffed. If you're looking for a cozy spot with great food, good vibes, and a reason to say "How you doin'?" to your mimosa, this is it. Can't wait to come back and bring friends for a brunch round two.

Service- the staff were nice, but they were slow. Granted, there was a large table ahead of us, so +1 for that Food- I ordered the kalua pork and rice. The kalua pork was probably reheated on the griddle, kind of salty, it was meh. The biggest disappointment was the rice. It was hard. For a "Hawaiian" restaurant to not know how to cook rice is sad. This place has potential. I don't know if they are tired or don't have that spark. Maybe they need a new location. The park across the street has a bunch of unhoused folks.

Everyone here is so sweet and helpful, and from what I've observed, they know many of their customers by name. You can feel the genuine sense of community. That same care carries over into the food. Everything is fresh, wholesome, and intentionally made. You can tell they care about the food they're serving and the people they're serving it to. For the longest time, I couldn't stop ordering the turkey pesto sandwich because it was that good. Once I finally started trying other menu items, I realized it wasn't just one great sandwich. Everything I've had has been delicious. The coffee and tea are exceptional as well. Manteca is so lucky to have a place like Bean & Leaf. Given the multitude of licenses at stake in such enterprises, I wish to share my recent experience at this location. This morning, my husband and I visited, and we were somewhat disappointed with the quality of our orders. He ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk, while I ordered an oat milk latte with an extra shot of espresso at a temperature of 200 degrees. He also selected a ham, cheese, and egg croissant, and I opted for a bacon and cheese croissant. Regrettably, the items did not meet our expectations. The beverages lacked the desired strength; although the temperature was correct, I was informed after placing our order that they were out of oat milk and had to substitute it with almond milk. Given that we had already paid approximately $30, this was quite disappointing. Despite these concerns, we did not request a discount or refund, and we accepted the substitution that was communicated to us approximately 10 to 15 minutes after placing our order. On a positive note, the staff were very courteous, and the establishment was clean. However, I suspect that the items we ordered may not represent the best offerings on their menu. While the service was commendable, there was a notable wait involved. It would have been preferable to have been informed of the oat milk shortage prior to payment, as we might have chosen to leave at that point. Unfortunately, our dissatisfaction led us to seek alternative options, and we subsequently drove to Stockton to visit Peet's Coffee, where we consistently find lattes prepared to our liking. While we may not return to this location, I do not wish to portray it negatively. It is clear that the establishment has potential, yet our experience did not align with our expectations.
