Really nice, new, fairly clean McDonald's. Easy on off highway. Large parking lot and dining room. Decorated modern farmhouse. Options to order using kiosk or from smiling face. Typical fare. We tried the new crispy chicken tenders meal with drink and huge fries for $8.99. Food came out fairly quickly. Tenders crispy, moist and hot as advertised. Very good especially for fast good. Fries hot and delicious as always. Newspaper available on table. Restroom modern with new fangled hand sanitizer on the door handle. Interesting. As I tried the sanitizer, a patron coming in, smashed my hand. Not best design. Over all. Good visit and good stop for travelers. read more

This location used to be great with no complaints whatsoever. However, the past several occasions have been painstakingly terrible. Orders are consistently wrong and when talking with employees to try to correct the orders they look at you with completely blank stares. read more

I will fully admit I don't know all the standards McDonald's requires of their franchises but there is no way this McDonald's meets them. It appears the workers are on drugs. No one ever has a clue what is going on. Constantly issues with the app, food takes forever to receive. You can order a very small order and will be told to pull around. I've been to hundreds of McDonald's. I will say I've had far worse service, but this was the worst food quality in my 55 years. The hamburger was dried out like shoe leather, and none of the 3 that I ordered had any onions. Went through the drive-through just now when we opened the bag we were already on the road and our two hash brown containers were completely empty. Tried to call let it rang about 20 times and nobody answered so we spent five dollars on a two dollar sandwich. read more

This is a convenient McDonald's if you're on the road and get hungry. It's easy to reach from the freeway, and then it's very easy to get back on the freeway. They have a drive thru which didn't seem busy even at peak lunch hour, and the inside was quite empty. The inside definitely looked like it had recently been remodeled. They had kiosks to order if you didn't want to order at the counter, and their seating was surprisingly comfortable with some trendy looking couches spread throughout. The WiFi was free and worked well. The restroom had a cool feature; the door handle when you exited had a hand sanitizer dispenser built into it. The staff were much friendlier than I expected; I was impressed with this. The food arrive quickly and was hot and fresh. They have a large self-service drink station (no Coca Cola Freestyle machine). The drink station was a bit dirty; the trash slots had lots of stuck on ketchup around them. The food was.. McDonald's. Just closed an hour early leaving 20 people in the drive through waiting without saying anything.

I needed a place to login to my work and knew from experience at other McD's that they should have good wifi. I also knew from recent experience at another location that they have $1 sodas! YAY to that. So I got here around 7:30 AM and needed to kill about 3+ hours. I found a seat that had an outlet (another necessity and BONUS). I ended up next to another guy doing the same thing as me - clearly working and making the best of a "remote office." I used the self-serve ordering system which worked great. I love the fountain soda set up - although I prefer PEPSI products and also have seen fountain drink areas that offer ALL KINDS of drinks - like Coke, Pepsi, Powerade, etc. ANyways, a Diet Coke is good enough for me. The place was busy and big. But the noise was fine. People came and went, sitting near me, but no one bugged me at all. Not too loud or obnoxious. No unruly kids. I got work done and appreciated having this available until I left to head to Applebees to meet my mom for lunch. read more

We arrived at this McDonald's at 12:00 AM. They close at 1 AM so we pulled into the drive thru because the TV's and lights were still on inside. The order screens were blank and no one answered. There was another truck in the second drive thru that did the same as us. When no one answered, we drove to the pick up window and there was a young guy by the register and he just looked at us. We stopped and looked at him and he didn't do anything but stare, so we left. I felt that was extremely rude and it seems like that employee is stealing from their employer by keeping a place of business open, keeping themselves clocked in, but refusing to serve any customers. If you're planning on going to this McDonald's late at night, I'd recommend you not even bothering and try somewhere else. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. Ok - I am sitting in their parking lot now after having just been inside. My wife walked out of the ladies room and said "it was disgusting in there. No toilet paper in the stall and the toilets all had (you know what) in them. The place was terrible. Here's the best part... as she is telling me this, an employee (JG) walks over to the restroom checklist and signed off that they were clean, and walked away. She never went inside. McDonalds - Hanley Road - Mansfield Food offerings , product taste and counter service is what one would expect from a typical Mcdonalds franchise , So no real surprises here , pro or con ......other than price increases on certain items . The restaurant is clean , as are the restrooms ! House newspapers ( The Cleveland plain Dealer , Columbus Dispatch and Mansfield News journal ) are provided for customers to read while on the premises . ( kudos for that ! ) Ordering protocol ....... During my visit , after you ordered , you were given a plastic table marker with a number. And your food was delivered to you by a server. Not sure whether that was just a temporary trial service, or one that will remain . What used to delight us about the various locations operated by the local franchisee was the Outstanding ambiance that each of their restaurants offered . Someone paid close attention to detail when decorating , and as a result , each store offered a visual feast for the eyes , thus creating. A comfortable homey atmosphere in which to dine . We've spent many a frosty winters eve seated next to the fireplace at the Hanley road store dining with friends and enjoying the ski lodge look that the facility portrayed . In addition , we have a collection of yearly snapshots with visiting grandkids standing next to the large Ronald McDonald statue which formerly found In the rear dining area. Now , a disappointing Fast forward to today .......... A recent remodeling job burst the bubble of happiness that we once had for the place ! What a shame to have lost the ambience that this restaurant formerly had , with its formerly comfy fire place , Leather easy chairs , bright wall coverings and the oversized Ronald McDonald statue ,that acted as a great photo opportunity for the kiddies . Yup , after the re -model they are all missing in action now ! Poof ! Everything's gone ! The recent upgrading (?) of the facility has turned the place into a plain Jane , cold , uninteresting and rather boring blend of drab colors and unimaginative furniture . Also Notably missing is the cozy area that was formerly to the left of the entry doors , which used to contain a round table which served as a comfortable gathering place for a number of retirees who stopped in daily for breakfast and chat ! And .......Gone is the bookcase in the back seating area that featured various Mcdonald nicknacks . In the new set-up , The lobby contains a couple of do it yourself point of purchase screens for those daring enough to enter their orders electronically.... ( fortunately there is a sole counter person to assist those who are not Computer savy enough to try ) Because of the major changes , I would imagine that a portion of the remodeling cost had to have been shared between the franchise operator and McDonalds Corporate ? I have to also wonder Just how much of the re-design of the building ( both inside and out ) was dictated by McDonalds Corporate gurus ? Well ..... whatever the reason for the drastic visual changes it is a shame that this once nicely decorated building has lost its inviting ambiance to what can now only be defined as bleak and sterile industrial chic ! As a result , because of the Now missing ambiance that once was , I've dropped my usual five star rating down to three stars , and Since the fireplace has been removed , it's rather doubtful that we will drop in during the winter months to enjoy our usual sandwiches and hot coffee . We've since moved our little group to across the road , and now enjoy a table adjacent to the warm glow of the open hearth at the cracker barrel restaurant ! Sorry Ronald ! Morale of the story : not all changes are for the better ! PS. Oh yah .... Just wondering ........Does corporate management really feel that the depressingly dark gray paint that has been applied to the outside brick facade is a color that invites people to come in for Fun ? The teenagers don't know how to make coffee and managers don't know how to instruct them. Coffee was weak like dishwater and cold because they switch pots in the middle of brewing and they don't put it back on the burner. Unfortunately I figured this out after I left and got on the freeway. I won't be back to try their food if they can't get Coffee correct. read more

Worst service I've seen at a McDonalds. I sat in the drive thru at the speaker and no one took my order. After waiting several minutes, someone pulled up in the other lane and they took their order immediately. I went inside and it was a long wait. Employees really did not seem to care at all. I went to McDonald's to get a vanilla Milkshake and it was by far the worst milkshake I've ever gotten. And the worst part about it is they knew. When the kid at the register went to hand me the shake, he looked at it; got a smirk on his face, then went to a straight face when he looked at me to hand it to me and said "here you go sir". It looked disgusting and tasted even worse. So I went down the road to Burger King and got one there (they made it right) and I will never go back to that McDonald's again to get a shake. I lookyat the total on the board & they wanted to charge me for a bottled water which I didn't order, the response from the girl in the window was we can't give you a small water with a combo meal? I recently quit my job at the Hanley rd McDonald's. I just couldn't take it anymore. I had 1 nice manager and 2 nice supervisors. But everyone else was just flat out rude. Although the atmosphere is nice, back in the kitchen it is a pigs stye. I for damn sure wouldn't want my food being prepared in there. I've seen other employees on multiple occasions use the restroom and return to work without washing their hands. The service is all around slow and unsanitary. I could almost guarantee if the health department walked in there today unexpected that this place would be shut down. I was bullied by my fellow co-workers on multiple occasions. They hired this one guy whom they where too lazy to train at the cash register, so they made him clean for 8 hours straight and paid him next to nothing. Our "break food" is limited to small food portions, well the managers have whatever they want. They used intimidation to get me to work on days I wasn't available (for example, she tried to scare me into coming into work over the phone when I told her I was out of town visiting my sick grandmother) they are bullies who don't care about their employees. I thought this would be ideal for my very first job. It turned out to be a living hellish nightmare. I was miserable and glad I got out while I could. read more

Cheap Owner/Operator - charges $0.25 for a condiment after I purchased a Big Mac meal! Big Mac barely had any sauce on it and the counter help was slow and when she did come to a register just stood there and looked at me. Won't be eating here anymore.
