Stopped here on a road trip. Went in, went the restroom before I ordered and from the second I walked in someone was in the stall next to me dropping F bombs on a speakerphone and N bombs in between. We come out of the stalls at the same time and I was only slightly shocked to see that it was an employee. While I went to the sink, she skipped the handwashing and went out the door. Instead of fighting through the crowds at Buc-ees, we made a U-turn on the bridge over I-45 and came to McDonald's instead. We ran inside to use the restroom and grab some food for the kiddos. The restaurant was clean and modern! Love the look of the updated McD's! Beautiful. The interior was way too cold for me. After ordering, I had to wait outside because my teeth were literally CHATTERING it was so frosty inside. We always use the McDonald's app to take advantage of deals. Today we used the $1 large fry deal and added some cheeseburgers and some frozen slushes (which the kids had wanted to get at the gas station but we could grab here.) I ordered at the Kiosk since no one was at the register. One downside is the lack of interaction with employees. (We we're WOW'd by an employee at a Dallas location on our trip). Another was that we ordered 5 cheeseburgers all the same: just ketchup. 1 out of the 5 didn't have cheese. We didn't run back in to have them fix it. All in all, a really nice McDonald's. read more

I usually stop in on my way to and from Houston whenever I'm needing a quick bite. This location is right off the highway so it's usually busy which means fresh food! I don't mind waiting a bit for fresh food, but the drive thru is usually quick. Customer service is good more times than not, which, considering how busy they get is awesome. The few times I've gone in to use the restroom I found it to be adequate as far as cleanliness. This last time I went, it was starting to look rough but as I walked out, a staff member was walking in to clean it up. The lady at the counter greeted me and was nice in taking my order. FYI, they're still closed for dine in. My hash browns were super hot and fresh which I enjoyed as I made my way back on the highways read more

Hands down the coldest restaurant I have ever been in, place is a freezer. Not saying that's a bad thing, but I was shocked.

This is a fast , clean and convenient McDonald's, there's a dog park for your fur puppies or in my case my piggy and my pup. Lol they loved it it's fast and easy to have them take care of their business, and have some water. This is perfect for you and traveling companions. Restrooms were also clean location looks new. So that's also a plus. Food was great and fresh and service was fast. They have the new kiosk inside to order our meals. read more

This McDonald's was horrible! My husband and I were traveling through Madisonville this morning and he decided to stop here. We pull up to the drive thru and the person on the speaker sounded like she just woke up. We ordered a sausage egg McMuffin with no cheese, 2 hash browns and an oj. What we got was not what we ordered. The hash brown and oj were correct but the "Sausage Egg McMuffin" was missing the egg and the English muffin was burnt! I called back to complain and I was told I needed to specify which McMuffin I wanted.‍ I thought we did when we asked for a Sausage Egg McMuffin no cheese... The ladies that work there are extremely rude, one lady was yelling the order numbers with an attitude because we didn't get the drinks we needed (also noticed she was touching food and not wearing a hair net) we needed to go to the restroom and there wasn't a sign that it was being clean, we go in and one of the employees yells "now i cant clean these restrooms cause people keep coming in" all loud and rude. First of all there wasnt a sign and you shouldn't be yelling cause we didn't know (also it's unprofessional as somone who works in the restaurant industry). Placing our order was fine and we got the right order quickly. However, the issue came when I asked to switch out the toys because I have twin boys and they fight if it's not the same. The cashier said my manager said I can't swap out the toys. When I asked the manager, she walked over to the premade happy meal boxes and half way went through them before telling me they didn't have the one I preferred to have since my kids had seen it. She did offer two other options, which I appreciated but she had an attitude about the whole thing as if I was bothering her. Customer service is not her strong suit. read more

Why is the floor in front of the drink station wet with soda spilled and is sticky as if it's been there for a while? When I mentioned this to the employee taking my order I was advised that, the person who apparently is responsible for cleaning the mess, "She's in the bathroom". Really?! The Bathrooms were absolutely insane, all of the floors were all sticky. The service was slow and when our food came the woman running the woman running the windows said it was our food, we confirmed then she just set it down and walked away without giving it to us, and after all of this I was given a DR Pepper and not a Coke. read more
