This is an off the menu healthy breakfast. Scrabbled eggs with grilled veggies - broccoli, carrots, squash n cauliflower. Very good.

Stopped in on recommendation of my brother. If you like the small town cafe diners type, this is a good one. Had breakfast and it was all homemade, as nothing frozen or instant. It's a bit off 45, but if your not in a hurry, worth the detour. Nice place for a bike ride stop if you in the area northwest of Huntsville. No alcohol. So, been coming in here for over 2 yrs, every two or three months. The ladies remember me, coffee is good and food is great. If you're looking for a Starbucks type place, this ain't it. But, if you're looking for what America used to be, this is it.

    Don't miss it.

I pass through Bedias about every third month driving between Katy and Dallas and try to stop in at the Pit Stop Cafe for breakfast or lunch when time allows. I have been coming here for about 5 years and have never had a bad meal or service. Their coffee is hot and plentiful, and their food is served prompt and fresh. They have a pretty normal menu, with inexpensive pricing. If I stop in for breakfast, they make me a veggie scramble on their flattop grill that can't be beat. If I stop by for lunch, they grill me up a chicken breast and chop it up into the scramble. The lady who owns it and the lady who works the counter are as friendly as you could ask for. This is most definitely a locals place, but they make everyone feel right at home. If you are looking for a high-end place, with Instagram worthy food presentation, this is not for you. If you want good food, great service and friendly people, you could do no better than the Pit St Highly recommend.

Stacked Breakfast: Biscuits and Gravy, over easy eggs, bacon, hash browns.

Adding an update for those who aren't local and are passing through…read more.. This hole in the wall locals bar/grill stated off as a bar with pool tables and when covid hit, they expanded to serving food to stay open. The original owners got out, a long-time local customer stepped up and took over/bought it out and kept it going. The Good: Its family friendly, locally owned and caters to the local crowd. The food is fresh. Almost everything on the menu is fresh/scratch made: Fries? They cut the potatoes and drop em in the fryer. Wednesday nights about 50 weeks out of the year, the owner grills ribeyes over charcoal - he takes a break when on vacation or his kid is showing animals at the fair. Spring means the occasional crawfish. The steak fingers are hand battered sirloin strips. The onion rings are fresh cut and hand battered. If alcohol is your thing the drink menu is pretty substantial, and if they have the fixings they can make what you want. Friday and saturday night is a little more adult oriented but stillt remains family friendly. The "Bad". If there's one thing I'd have to say, its that the kitchen is small, so when its busy it will take time to get your food. If you come on a busy night, understand that you might be waiting a while. As a local who is here several times a week at various times of the day, I know and accept that. Please be patient, if you've got the time I think the food is worth the wait, when there is one. If you happen to be passing through, drop in and grab a bite or a drink.

The Office Grill & Saloon is about as "local" as you can get and I was pleased to see this bar and grill had a family with kids when we walked in. Maybe it gets a different crowd on other nights but tonight was friendly. A lovely waitress/bartender came over with menus and took our food and drink order. Mrs. K. enjoyed her sweet tea and I had a Lone Star Light beer. With it, a fish sandwich with delicious fries and a cheeseburger with onion rings for me. It was good and it was hot and it was all put together with care. This was a terrific little hole in the wall local stop. I'm so glad I trusted Yelp! I had eggs Benedict with crab, wonderful bacon, and home fries, and because I had traveled all the way out to Belleville, Texas. I made it a point to complement it all with a pancake, which was equally wonderful. It's a lovely restaurant and I think I read somewhere that it is old time Texas architecture and I must tell you it really was quite lovely. There was a patio and the weather was wonderful. We chose not to dine there but the next time we're in town. There is no question that we will make it a point to do so. The bartender was very capable, bloody Mary's and mimosas as well as a myriad of other drinks. Very many top shelf, liquors, and a wonderful cup of coffee make for not only a pleasant dining experience, but frankly a wonderful dining experience. If you're ever in Belleville, Texas, I would make it a point to stop by and enjoy really a top level dining experience.

From the moment we walked in, the restaurant felt cozy and inviting with a great atmosphere. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, our waitress was so sweet. I ordered fish and my husband had the steak, both were beautifully presented, but more importantly, absolutely delicious. The quality of the food really stood out. One of the highlights of the evening was watching fresh pasta being made right in front of us, which is something you don't come across often. We'll definitely be back. This has quickly become one of our new favorite spots, and I highly recommend it.

They warm up the table with this amazing cornbread & hot rolls Today I had the fried catfish with fries and coleslaw. It was deliciously light & flaky but so filling I only ate 1 filet. The coleslaw was the best I've ever had! Ever! And I don't normally eat/like hush puppies but I always try and thumbs up; different from what I've tried in years past. My husband had the chicken fried steak with okra & mashed potatoes which I got a 'it was good' response which really means... he ate all of it with no complaints. Lol very rare to get a 'fantastic' or 'delicious' outta him. There are no booths, which is my preferred dining experience but we're not here for the comfort! The table was a little wobbly but I didn't care, I love staring at the pie shelf while dining! Nicely country style decorum. Great food delivered quickly with a smile! prices are inline with the quality/quantity! Thank you! Happy New Year!
