Lunch with the hubby! Had some confusion about who was waiting on us. We weren't in a hurry though so no big deal! They were very nice and accomodating! Service oriented and customers are a priority. Prompt service and nice people. Lots of pictures and posters of the military. You can bring a picture of a person that served and they will put it on the wall. I had the braised beef and my wife had the chicken fried steak. read more

Excited to try the new Honor Cafe in Huntsville... What I came away with was Overpriced and Underwhelming! Ordered the Shrimp Po Boy, at $16 expecting something great! What I got was 5 small shrimp on what looked to be a hotdog bun and some fries. Very disappointed! I had looked at the salad but with grilled chicken added it was going to be $22 ! At these prices you have to knock out great dishes and fair portions. There are too many "good value" choices in Huntsville to spend this kind of money! read more

We waited around for this Sunday morning spot and I'm glad that we didn't go anywhere else after noticing they didn't open until 10am! (Sunday only. That's on me, I should have checked the hours instead of assuming earlier.) Coffee was served black but with all the accommodations of Original Coffee Creamer and basic table sweeteners. But we were refilled promptly when needed. Our waiter was attentive but not at all pestering. And I appreciated his opinion when I was struggling with what to pick! I ordered the biscuits and gravy with bacon added to the side. The biscuits were buttery and fluffy and topped with cream gravy and crumbled sausage. The sausage added perfect peppery flavor to the very creamy gravy. And the bacon was cooked just the way I love it, crispy but not at all dry and crunchy. My husband got the chicken and waffles plus the sausage. The waffles are minis and they're stacked up high with the chicken tenders. They were fluffy and a great texture and didn't manage to get overly soggy! The chicken was fried up nicely and not dry. One of the syrups had chili flakes so it was a great added spice to the sweetness of it all. The blueberry sausage was actually really surprising, sweet but a great spice and flavor. His fruit cup on the side too was nice to feel like you cut through some of the heaviness of our hearty meal! The bill wasn't abnormal, we've drove further and paid more for waaaaay less. Definitely coming back soon to try other breakfast options and again for some lunchtime picks! The room wasn't packed, tables, floors and dining items were all clean. Service was great but the food was disappointing. My husband had the hamburger and said the meat itself tasted old. I had the avocado toast it was soggy. They have 2 bathrooms for all genders. I always prefer to have a ladies only restroom for obvious reasons. read more

This cafe is a very refreshing, innovative concept. The food was delicious and our server, Mark, was great! Would highly recommend it!

1st visit was breakfast. Terric, you can see the freshness before you taste the food. Bacon was thick and that is something you never see at a cafe. Corn tortillas for the tacos were exceptional.
