I am convinced they make the best McNuggets I've ever had. They always come out right. It's a little run down inside but has cool Badger Football regalia on the walls. Pretty quick service. My biggest complaint are all these ubereats drivers that think they can block where people grab their food. I always have to elbow one or two of them to get to my food they're leaning over. I'm a simple man, I just come here for ice cream cones, but although they charge more for cones here then at other stores (which things in madison cost more sometimes, I'm fine with that) they've started making the cones smaller and smaller, and the last couple I got were shorter in height of ice cream than the cone on the bottom. There are other issues with the resturaunt (ranging from cleanliness to indifference of the staff) but I'm a man who loves his cones and am frustrated to feel cheated on them. read more

When I think of McDonald's, my heart races with sensations of decadent meals attacking my senses. This McDonald's certainly doesn't fail to live up to my expectations. I ordered the McChicken, a Big Mac, a McGriddle, and large fries. A sampling of sorts. The cashier/menu specialist (named Rowan) was absolutely lovely. He guided me through my quest in ordering and helped me realize what it was that I needed. He was also quick to answer any questions about ingredients, meat quality, and even made a few witty jokes! Now let's get to the meal. The McChicken absolutely rocked my world. A crispy, golden brown exterior engulfed a tender, juicy chicken breast which lay beneath. What a treat! The Big Mac was not to be undone however. I ordered the burger to Medium Rare, and was delighted to bite into a pink, perfectly cooked patty between two fluffy (and even sexy) sesame seed buns. Ooh la la. Now onto the king of breakfast. The notorious McDonald's McGriddle. Two hot cakes wrapped around your classic breakfast staple: egg, sausage, American cheese. What could possibly go wrong? Well as it turns out, absolutely nothing. I was delighted (but not surprised) to be swimming in an ocean of flavor after my very first bite. Lastly, the fries! Those famous, Golden Brown, thin and crispy gifts from God himself. The perfect salt sprinkle and proportionment: check. That sun-kissed Golden Brown appearance: check. The crispy outside, and soft potato interior: check mate. To summarize my experience: it was the greatest 13 minutes of my life. I will tell the story of this dining experience to my grandchildren one day. I want to thank each of the employees who played their part in this experience, as well as the fellow customers who shared the journey with me. Today, my faith in all that is good has been restored through my passion for the culinary arts and my patronage to this establishment. Thank you to those who have read and hopefully, been inspired. After my roommates bet me I could not eat 10 doubles we took the beautiful trek to the Regent st. McDonalds. After getting into an altercation in the parking lot with a 70 year old woman about how it's not proper to cut in the drive thru line, we ordered our 10 doubles and a few other meals and went home. Burger after burger they were cooked to perfection. Seven burgers later I felt stuffed. I felt like sh** for the next two days. I think that they poisoned my food. I give it 4 Stars. read more

True that this is McDonald's food, so it can only be so good. BUT, the range in McDonald's food at different McDonalds is incredible and in some cases revolting. I stop at this McDs for breakfast on my way to work when I know it's going to be a tough day. The comfort of a tasty breakfast sandwich and strangers being nice to you helps. My food is always hot, fresh, and fast. I typically get an egg mcmuffin or a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. The morning crew is always friendly and my order has always been accurate. read more

This is a really good McDonald's. I've been impressed by several of the Drive Thru workers for their politeness and efficiency, and they often throw in an extra fry or something if they've made me wait. The guys working the Drive Thru are always very sweet, and it's appreciated. read more

They have a late night menu from midnight to 4:00 am that has very limited selection aka no McDoubles. They are genuinely nice here. I stop here frequently, the food is always hot, and standard McDonald's fare. I see alot of students here, it is close to campus. Even if it is slammed busy, I don't have to wait long. Last time I was here, there was a man who was unreasonable and a real jerk - the menu items are quite clear about which breakfast items are offered 24/7, and he wanted something else. I work in a McDonald's restaurant and I started reviewing different McDonald's I visit. My experience here hasn't met the desired modern McDonald's workmanship to be able to eat at this restaurant. I ordered through drive thru and as they took my complex order the guy repeated everything back 100% right. I gotta say the people that work here seemed friendly. However when I got my sandwich it wasn't the sandwich I ordered. It appeared the cook messed up on the order and didn't add everything that was on the list, and that's kind of hard to believe. Here's why, we look at a giant screen with a list of all ingredients on the sandwich. We even get a little slip of sticky paper that prints out when you order your specific sandwich and we get this for custom orders (when you have extra ingredients added or even no ingredients) so as the cook looked at 2 different things of instructions I was disappointed when it wasn't correct. I walked in and they were very kind to put the ingredients I (payed extra for) on the sandwich. The manager even offered to warm my sandwich up, however I kindly refused as of the sandwich was still nice and warm. read more
