Just came out of the drive though with a very unpleasant experience. I had over 3,000 points and I wanted to redeem my coupon for a free sausage McGriddle. I gave the employee the code and he said it did not work. We pulled up to the drive thru window and the employee said it was the same price. It took me off guard and my husband handed them the money, however when the receipt was printed they charged us for the sausage McGriddle! I told the other employee who handed us the food that they didn't end up taking off the sandwich for us, he then tried the code himself and he said it wasn't working. I even showed him my phone with the code and the item that was free. He then told me again that it was not working and there was nothing that he could do. I was like really? You cant just manually take off the sandwich and refund us the money? He was wearing a blue shirt so I assumed he was the manager on duty, however he surely did not act like it as he did not listen to the customers needs and clearly the code was visible and active on my phone! He then said it was just to accumulate points and not to get a free item? That sounds like false information to me. After that interaction with him we drove off and said okay thanks. Looking at my phone after that, they clearly took my code along with my points! I only have 951 points now. He clearly needs to learn customer service skills, and not have the customer have to act like it's pulling teeth just to use a valid code. No wonder they have 1 star on this location! Had lunch delivered since I'm working from home... got the Daily Double Meal Deal for $7 and this lettuce fell out. Is it MOLD? So gross, do better!! If the cook sees this, throw it out!! After we ordered our food they had us wait in a parking spot for our 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 hash browns, when they brought our food to us 20 minutes later, it was wrong, so we went inside to try and get it fixed, waited for another 20 minutes to even get help just for them to tell us they couldn't help us because breakfast was now over? Stopped by for a bathroom break and a snack on our way home from Monterey. I don't know what happened but lately all MCD's services have been slow and terrible. Ordered one ice cream cone, one Oreo McFlurry, 3 cookies and one apple pie via Kiosk. Literally waited 16mins!!! The lobby was dirty there was probably one- two people waiting in the lobby. Girl at the first drive thru window on Tuesday, March 14th @7:46AM with the clown make up and long eye lashes was a sarcastic rude bitch. Didn't get my order right, she had to fix it at the window, responded sarcastically when I was reiterating what I wanted and didn't want to give me my receipt. Went to second window where the no good for nothing "manager" didn't want to give me her name because she said "she's not allowed". No one was wearing a name tag, and just for your bad luck, I actually manage a Mcds in Hilmar and I as a MANAGER have to give you the crew's name. She eventually got me my receipt and told the girl presenting, mind you she didn't have the balls to come back to the window to give to me herself-- "tell that bitch that if she needs a name is Sabrina". Unfortunately only one star...smh. Let me explain, on our trip back from fishing (we didn't catch a thing. ..lol) soooo...filet of fish was called for along with a 1/4 pounder and a chicken sandwich. Now comes the incredible part of our drive through journey. ..we ordered a strawberry shake. ..no go there, instead how about a Oreo McFlurry? Bingo! 2 please..upon approach of the pay window we were informed that any ice cream products were unavailable, after hearing that my 9 year old nephew said.."this place is broken" hahaha! !!! Dad wanted a cold frapichino...nada how about an iced coffee? Mocha will do, this trip took about 35 minutes so instead of happy to be there we were happy to LEAVE! Well I hate that because Los Banos is in the middle of going to Fresno from San Jose and it adds to why it takes 2 hours to get there instead of 1 hour and possibly 40 to 45 minutes if the 152 bypassed Los Banos and maintain highway speeds and not have to hit the stops in town. The good thing is Los Banos is the halfway point and although there is nothing here it's a nice pit stop for gas, rest breaks and McDonalds. This McDonalds I had no problem with. Old reviews has mentioned lack of being 24hours. As of this posting that has changed: Restaurant Hours: monday open 24 hours tuesday open 24 hours wednesday 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM thursday 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM friday 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM saturday 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM sunday open 24 hours Drive Thru Hours: monday open 24 hours tuesday open 24 hours wednesday 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM thursday 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM friday 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM saturday 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM sunday open 24 hours So as you can see there are days where it is 24hours including inside and not just the drive through so thats nice. Unfortunately everyday is not 24 hours like some so minus 1 star for that. The only other reason for deduction is despite the company wide renovations of all mcdonalds, this location is small compared to those in big cities like Fresno or San Jose. You can't blame them as this is a small town of only 37,000 people, but in comparing to locations I frequent it certainly isnt the best. But for Los Banos its good. A major plus with this location is they offer so many more and better deals on the mcdonalds app compared to bay area and fresno locations. I dont know why that is, but if you love mcdonalds, you will find they offer better deals here from the app compared to others. I hardly go inside usually always drive through, and haven't had any issues. It's smaller inside location for being in a middle of no where small town, but it is updated. Drive through always seems to have a line as there is only 2 mcdonalds in this entire town not including the one in walmart. read more

I would recommend this McDonald's because they are really fast paced and amazing quality. I travel a lot and have admittedly been to a countless number of McDonalds in different states and even different countries. This is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. We placed two orders through the drive through tonight (almost $40 total). Every single order of fries (six total) came out tasting like they had been sitting out for a while. All six fry orders were cold and did not taste fresh. On top of that, the young woman taking our orders in the drive through line expressed irritation when we apologized and asked her if she could repeat our order back again. She said it so fast the first time, we couldn't understand if she captured everything correctly. Lastly, we ordered a filet o fish meal with tartar sauce on the side. Note: We were charged extra for this side of tartar sauce. Most McDonalds don't charge extra for this. Seems very cheap. When we received our order, we let the employee fulfilling our order know that there was no side of tartar sauce included. Without hesitation this employee immediately told us that, "we put extra tartar sauce on the sandwich." We reiterated that we asked for tartar sauce on the side. This employee finally passed us a side of tartar sauce and we drove off. We get home and notice that the filet o fish sandwich actually had NO tartar sauce at all on the inside. Good thing we were insistent about wanting the side of sauce. Do yourself a favor and don't bother here. They won't get your order right and the employees could use a lesson or two in customer service. read more
