    Counter where u order

So...I want to write a good review, bc the cashier tried hard and was pleasant. However ordered brisket, salad, and egg rolls. Our food took over 25 minutes not really sure how that happened. There were only four other tables in the restaurant with people. The eggrolls should've been prepped and ready to go into the fryer. The brisket supposedly takes 18 hours. Apparently it must've been at 17 1/2 hours. The salad was fine. No complaints just a basic salad probably from a bag. The eggroll was the biggest disappointment. The first bite was delicious. And then it was not. As I bite into an egg roll grease dripped onto the plate. Like I was changing the oil. The orange colored sauce with no taste had a film on it. Too long to wait and just not good food. Sorry I cannot recommend. Again cashier nice. But something going on between him and the cooks and the customer suffered.

Came here Sunday during our road trip. Found it on Yelp. The owner was so friendly and took great care of us. Brisket was my favorite. Juicy and flavorful! You won't go wrong with their Brisket. The ribs were also really amazing especially the Dino rib, which was one of the stars, falling off the bone. Portions are generous! Plenty of inside seating. Comfortable space. Our family enjoyed ourselves!!

We stopped by Biggin's Texas BBQ on our way back from Bass Lake. The meat was so tender and flavorful. We also got to pick two sides with our 2 meat combo meal so we chose mac & cheese and charro beans which were both delicious. The service was fast and pleasant. Our daughter had so mush fun with the mini claw machines while we waited for our order. If we are ever back in the area we will be stopping by here for our bbq fix.

My friends and I were craving some good hearty meat dishes, specifically BBQ! Service review: First off, the service was immaculate and my friends and I felt like we were well taken care of and checked in. Shout out to the owner/ server for making our first experience at the restaurant a high point of our day! Let me tell you, customer service can go a looong way! Okay, let's get to the food review: - Mac n cheese: just your original creamy, decadent Mac n cheese! Can't go wrong with it! - Texas Toast: ooh! It's a small one, but packs a buttery soft punch in your mouth, like an airy buttery toast of goodness! - Baked Beans: I have to say this was my favorite. Sweet but not tooo sweet, and had lil bits of meat in there. I finished it up and such a good pairing with everything on the plate. - Tri-Tip: TENDER CHEWY. Mix it in the bbq sauce it comes with and you're nodding your head YESSS. - Fried pickles: just get it. You won't be disappointed. Perfect way to start the meal. -Brisket: JUICY and Decadent!! Ahhh put this on your Mac n cheese please. Overall, think this is a place to be at if you happen to be in the Los Banos Area. It's a treasure of a place!

First and foremost they have wonderful service. The owner took our order and had great etiquette. They only have a single unisex restroom, but that's to be expected in downtown. Kept up well, so that's a plus. There were 3 other groups of people in there and the noise level was pretty tame. I asked if they will have speakers out front for some country music, and he said they typically have live performances on Friday and Saturday's. 1/2025 2 Meat plate $26.95 tri-tip, ribs, coleslaw, fries and Texas toast. Everything was great. The ribs were large and had a proper amount of sauce on it, not too much. It had some fat on it and that's welcome. The tri-tip had a proper smoke ring and I loved the seasoning that was on the edges. Goes great with their properly spiced and tangy bbq sauce. The fries were (I think) beer battered. They gave us a HEAPING amount for a side (see picture). They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The Texas toast is good, but I think the timing must have been off, because it was cold and the butter may have coagulated by the time it got to our table. Lastly the Coleslaw was a bit too sweet for my liking. Nonetheless this joint gets high marks to give it a 5 out of 5. Come by on Friday nights when they have live musical performances! We will be bringing the kids by.

Biggin's Texas BBQ is an absolute delight. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. It is clear that he is passionate about his business and the quality of the food. Everything we tried here was delicious- the mac n cheese was creamy and the pulled pork was perfectly smoked. I opted in for the coconut shrimp and catfish with hush puppies. This place is a must try for fans of BBQ

    Ribs!!! Sooooo tender.

My son also had the Hot Link Sandwich, the bun is so fresh and overall everything is just wonderful.

This is my first time coming to this shop, I really like the atmosphere here. It makes me feel like I'm in Texas. The food here is very delicious and special. I bought 3 different types of meat to try, this dish is also delicious and mouth-watering. I forgot to take my meal picture cause I eat them right away when they bring it out, of course it's taste really good too. The side order is also delicious, not greasy. Especially the coleslaw, very special because they are all homemade by the owner daughter. In short, I'm very satisfied with the food here. The owner is very friendly , enthusiasm and down to earth make us feel so comfortable . I definitely will come back with my group of friends next time. My husband just found a new hang out spot for good ole Texas BBQ.

As soon as we walked in you could smell the amazing BBQ. The gentleman at the front desk greeted us with such a friendly smile and you can't help but feel welcomed and at home. There was 1 big party and 2 other customers inside. He handed us the menu and before we could start to read he told us what he had and what he could do for us. Made it so much easier to think about what we wanted. Ordered a tri tip sandwich and fries and the sandwich came with a drink. He gave us an extra drink since we were splitting it and didn't charge. Now I don't know if he wasn't supposed to do that but I call that true customer service because we both ordered the same drink so he wouldn't have to keep coming to refill our drink and we were staying to eat. The customer at the counter chatted it up with him and it really seemed like such a family feeling. There was a kid trying to win a prize from the claw machine and he walked over and gave him some tips, with his mom nearby. It was such a sweet sight to see the gentleman engage with customers no matter the age. He brought over drinks and an extra bag of chips so we "don't fight over one bag." Just the details. Now the food. AMAZING! I feel sick because I ate more than I should have. Fries were warm, crispy and tasty. The tri tip was beyond anything I can even describe. You can taste the home cooking of it, that's the only way I know how to explain it. He even asked where we were from and gave us a recommendation to try back home. You really need to drop by this place if you are driving through Los Banos. I live an hour away and will be making this trip more often. You won't regret it.

I loved the old location but the new spot is even better. The decor is really nice and there's plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your meal. Of course Ken and his team are amazing and customer service is always on point. My favorite for a long time was the pulled pork egg rolls which you can get with other types of meat if you're not into pork- brisket is delicious! Today I tried their loaded Mac and cheese and oooooh my goodness! Where has this been all my life? If you haven't tried it you are missing out! Keep in mind that portions are generous so if you want to try a few things and your meal buddy is willing, get stuff to share. My mom and I get the egg rolls, a sandwich to split and fries or coleslaw and leave feeling full and happy, with usually something to take home too. BF and I were starving today so we got the egg rolls, tri tip sandwich, garlic fries and loaded Mac and cheese and have a whole second meal to enjoy tomorrow.

The portions were huge, the meat was tender, and the owner was very hospitable. Whenever I'm in the area I'm definitely making a stop.

Great Quality Sourdough, but a Bit Pricey…read more Rating: 4/5 Stars (I'd give it 4.5 if I could!) We had a really solid lunch here. The food quality is definitely high and everything felt very fresh, though it is a bit of a "premium" experience for a sandwich shop. What We Ordered: 8-inch French Dip: My husband really enjoyed this--the bread held up great to the au jus. 6-inch Turkey and Salami: This was my choice, and the meats were high-quality and the sourdough had that perfect crunch. Kids' Ham and Cheese: Both kids finished their sandwiches with no complaints! Service was fairly fast, which is a huge plus when you're out with the family. My only real "critique" (besides the price) is the kids' meal side; it comes with applesauce, and there was no option to swap it out for chips. We spent about $67 for the four of us. It's a little pricey for a sandwich spot, but you can definitely taste the difference in the freshness of the ingredients. A really good spot if you're looking for a high-quality sub. Great bread and solid service!

I got their kids meal and tried their turkey sandwich, and ordered for pick up. My order was not ready by the time they had estimated, but it was okay I did not mind at all. It was pretty busy inside, I waited maybe 10 minutes for my order. The sandwich was good, I unfortunately, I was not a big fan of the turkey itself. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, and it definitely looks like a favorite as there were so many people constantly walking in and out.

Probably one of my favorite places to stop by when driving between Northern and Southern…read moreCalifornia. Being able to enjoy a full meal without completely extortionary prices is a rarity in today's world - and quite frankly if you want to get it in California, you probably need to get it driving up and down I-5. Not sure where else you can do it. The set menu is pretty simple. You pick your entree, say what side dishes you want, and they're off to the races with a full-course meal for you by providing family-style sides - namely salad, a lamb soup (fantastic!), baked beans, even a quick easy dessert at the end. Also, a house wine, which I honestly can't judge in terms of quality, but it certainly isn't /bad/ (ie, it's drinkable). As for my review, the main entrees I've had have generally been decent. I've had the tri-tip and the lamb chop and they both have come out decently seasoned, decently cooked. My thoughts on the side dishes: 1. The lamb soup is definitely the best. It's super flavorful, super tender, the meat really falls apart in your mouth. Honestly, the lamb soup might even be better than the actual lamb entrees. 2. The vegetable soup is basically just fine. It's nice and hearty, but honestly not super memorable (in either direction). 3. The salad is probably my least favorite entree simply because it always has too much dressing and is a bit too "rich" for my liking. I've actually found that it tastes pretty good though if you eat it on top of the bread. 4. Baked beans - basically hearty and good with the generous parmesan cheese they put over it. I'm a fan. My actual certified Gamer Pro-Tip is to toss tabasco sauce into it - it definitely balances out the parmesan better. 5. Potato salad - I don't actually think too memorable besides being adequate. Definitely filling. Anyways, the amount of food and diversity of dishes you get is crazy - and it's remarkably rare to see this kind of cuisine at this price point. Finally, there's honestly just not a lot of competition in the "places to eat driving up and down between Los Angeles and the Bay Area." If I had to think of any changes, I really just think they need slightly less dressing on the salad! No complaints otherwise!

Seating is family style so a great way to meet people. I ordered the tri tip and my friend ordered the baked chicken. It comes with a bottle of wine and all the sides. I LOVED the salad!!! So fresh and crispy. Homemade garlic ranch dressing. It was delicious. Bread was good and fresh. Ranch beans were yummy, a bit cold but still very tasty. French fries were old and cool. Didn't love those. They also serve lamb stew. I don't love lamb so I didn't try that. My friend did and he said it was really good (ate my portion too!) Our meat came and the tri tip was flavorful but over cooked and saturated in gravy. I would try again but ask for more rare and no gravy. Gravy wasn't bad, I don't like over sauced food. The baked chicken was very tasty and very farm to table like. Service was great. People were happy and conversing. Waiter was very attentive. The experience was good. I need to try again and see now that I know how it works if I can try something different! For sure get the salad though!!
