Traveling home and stopped here based on the good reviews. I expected the ribs to be falling off the bone and the tri-tip to be tender. Unfortunately both items were good but not great. Two plates and two beers were $85. Prices are steep!

The fish needs more season - it is a big sandwich- the cookie is good but it's $3.00 , the ribs were good burger was a burger nothing special. The prices are high- I'm from out of town.

So I went there last week with my daughter and her fiance. It was just ok for me. My brisket sandwich had plenty of meat but my Sandwhich was a little dry. The bbq sauce helped bring it back. I believe my daughter felt the same way. Her fiancé had the meat plate and his brisket was also a little dry. The mac and cheese did t taste homemade. Fries were ok. Service was fair. Was kinda pricey for just being ok. 95 bucks for 2 sandwiches and a meat plate 2 drinks and fries

Came here Sunday during our road trip. Found it on Yelp. The owner was so friendly and took great care of us. Brisket was my favorite. Juicy and flavorful! You won't go wrong with their Brisket. The ribs were also really amazing especially the Dino rib, which was one of the stars, falling off the bone. Portions are generous! Plenty of inside seating. Comfortable space. Our family enjoyed ourselves!!

    Counter where u order

So...I want to write a good review, bc the cashier tried hard and was pleasant. However ordered brisket, salad, and egg rolls. Our food took over 25 minutes not really sure how that happened. There were only four other tables in the restaurant with people. The eggrolls should've been prepped and ready to go into the fryer. The brisket supposedly takes 18 hours. Apparently it must've been at 17 1/2 hours. The salad was fine. No complaints just a basic salad probably from a bag. The eggroll was the biggest disappointment. The first bite was delicious. And then it was not. As I bite into an egg roll grease dripped onto the plate. Like I was changing the oil. The orange colored sauce with no taste had a film on it. Too long to wait and just not good food. Sorry I cannot recommend. Again cashier nice. But something going on between him and the cooks and the customer suffered.

Brisket, pulled pork, Texas toast, baked beans, Mac and cheese

Went at 12 on a Friday and the place was empty, we were the only people there which should have been a telling sign. I got the 2 meat combo plate for $30 and selected brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, Mac and cheese, and it comes with a slice of Texas toast although it does not come with a drink. Brisket was sliced extremely thin and was very dry and tough, almost felt like it was leftover from the day before. Pulled pork was fine, a little dry and lacking in flavor. Texas toast was burnt on one side (conveniently placed face down on arrival). Baked beans tasted like canned beans and the Mac & cheese was like a KFC Mac & cheese. Neither side felt homemade. For the price and quality of the bbq/sides, I would pass.

My friends and I were craving some good hearty meat dishes, specifically BBQ! Service review: First off, the service was immaculate and my friends and I felt like we were well taken care of and checked in. Shout out to the owner/ server for making our first experience at the restaurant a high point of our day! Let me tell you, customer service can go a looong way! Okay, let's get to the food review: - Mac n cheese: just your original creamy, decadent Mac n cheese! Can't go wrong with it! - Texas Toast: ooh! It's a small one, but packs a buttery soft punch in your mouth, like an airy buttery toast of goodness! - Baked Beans: I have to say this was my favorite. Sweet but not tooo sweet, and had lil bits of meat in there. I finished it up and such a good pairing with everything on the plate. - Tri-Tip: TENDER CHEWY. Mix it in the bbq sauce it comes with and you're nodding your head YESSS. - Fried pickles: just get it. You won't be disappointed. Perfect way to start the meal. -Brisket: JUICY and Decadent!! Ahhh put this on your Mac n cheese please. Overall, think this is a place to be at if you happen to be in the Los Banos Area. It's a treasure of a place!

    Mac and ranchero beans

What a killer bbq spot! Cashier was super helpful and told us about the Little Biggins platter that had a little bit of everything and we ordered the mac n cheese and ranchero beans on the side. It was a generous portion of bbqd meat at a really good price! (We even ate the leftovers for 2 days after) Everything was really good and the ribs were super tasty with a sweet/spicy glaze. I have never been to a spot where I would come back for the smoked chicken, but theirs was unbelievable. Really good herbal seasoning and flavor. The ranchero beans were also delicious and smoky too. Thanks Biggins Texas Bbq! We will be back!

First and foremost they have wonderful service. The owner took our order and had great etiquette. They only have a single unisex restroom, but that's to be expected in downtown. Kept up well, so that's a plus. There were 3 other groups of people in there and the noise level was pretty tame. I asked if they will have speakers out front for some country music, and he said they typically have live performances on Friday and Saturday's. 1/2025 2 Meat plate $26.95 tri-tip, ribs, coleslaw, fries and Texas toast. Everything was great. The ribs were large and had a proper amount of sauce on it, not too much. It had some fat on it and that's welcome. The tri-tip had a proper smoke ring and I loved the seasoning that was on the edges. Goes great with their properly spiced and tangy bbq sauce. The fries were (I think) beer battered. They gave us a HEAPING amount for a side (see picture). They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The Texas toast is good, but I think the timing must have been off, because it was cold and the butter may have coagulated by the time it got to our table. Lastly the Coleslaw was a bit too sweet for my liking. Nonetheless this joint gets high marks to give it a 5 out of 5. Come by on Friday nights when they have live musical performances! We will be bringing the kids by.

We stopped by Biggin's Texas BBQ on our way back from Bass Lake. The meat was so tender and flavorful. We also got to pick two sides with our 2 meat combo meal so we chose mac & cheese and charro beans which were both delicious. The service was fast and pleasant. Our daughter had so mush fun with the mini claw machines while we waited for our order. If we are ever back in the area we will be stopping by here for our bbq fix.

Biggin's Texas BBQ is an absolute delight. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. It is clear that he is passionate about his business and the quality of the food. Everything we tried here was delicious- the mac n cheese was creamy and the pulled pork was perfectly smoked. I opted in for the coconut shrimp and catfish with hush puppies. This place is a must try for fans of BBQ

    Ribs!!! Sooooo tender.

We would stop here before or after Bass Lake trip. This place is the best there is. Really Texan BBQ! The pulled pork, Tri Tip and Brisket is to die for. Everything is tasty and Awesome service. My son also had the Hot Link Sandwich, the bun is so fresh and overall everything is just wonderful.

Great Quality Sourdough, but a Bit Pricey…read more Rating: 4/5 Stars (I'd give it 4.5 if I could!) We had a really solid lunch here. The food quality is definitely high and everything felt very fresh, though it is a bit of a "premium" experience for a sandwich shop. What We Ordered: 8-inch French Dip: My husband really enjoyed this--the bread held up great to the au jus. 6-inch Turkey and Salami: This was my choice, and the meats were high-quality and the sourdough had that perfect crunch. Kids' Ham and Cheese: Both kids finished their sandwiches with no complaints! Service was fairly fast, which is a huge plus when you're out with the family. My only real "critique" (besides the price) is the kids' meal side; it comes with applesauce, and there was no option to swap it out for chips. We spent about $67 for the four of us. It's a little pricey for a sandwich spot, but you can definitely taste the difference in the freshness of the ingredients. A really good spot if you're looking for a high-quality sub. Great bread and solid service!

The restaurant is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, and it definitely looks like a favorite as there were so many people constantly walking in and out.

Being able to enjoy a full meal without completely extortionary prices is a rarity in today's world - and quite frankly if you want to get it in California, you probably need to get it driving up and down I-5. Not sure where else you can do it. The set menu is pretty simple. You pick your entree, say what side dishes you want, and they're off to the races with a full-course meal for you by providing family-style sides - namely salad, a lamb soup (fantastic!), baked beans, even a quick easy dessert at the end. Also, a house wine, which I honestly can't judge in terms of quality, but it certainly isn't /bad/ (ie, it's drinkable). As for my review, the main entrees I've had have generally been decent. I've had the tri-tip and the lamb chop and they both have come out decently seasoned, decently cooked. My thoughts on the side dishes: 1. The lamb soup is definitely the best. It's super flavorful, super tender, the meat really falls apart in your mouth. Honestly, the lamb soup might even be better than the actual lamb entrees. 2. The vegetable soup is basically just fine. It's nice and hearty, but honestly not super memorable (in either direction). 3. The salad is probably my least favorite entree simply because it always has too much dressing and is a bit too "rich" for my liking. I've actually found that it tastes pretty good though if you eat it on top of the bread. 4. Baked beans - basically hearty and good with the generous parmesan cheese they put over it. I'm a fan. My actual certified Gamer Pro-Tip is to toss tabasco sauce into it - it definitely balances out the parmesan better. 5. Potato salad - I don't actually think too memorable besides being adequate. Definitely filling. Anyways, the amount of food and diversity of dishes you get is crazy - and it's remarkably rare to see this kind of cuisine at this price point. Finally, there's honestly just not a lot of competition in the "places to eat driving up and down between Los Angeles and the Bay Area." If I had to think of any changes, I really just think they need slightly less dressing on the salad! No complaints otherwise!
