I come here way more often than I'd like to admit. I have never had any issue with this store. Until Saturday evening, i finished up with a photoshoot and hit this location on my way home (closest location to my home). For whatever reason, they could not run my card, and for whatever other reason, they refused to manually type it in, which i think is ridiculous. So after waiting in an irritatingly long wait of a line, I find my card is rendered useless to them, and just my luck I didn't have cash on me or another card. Starving and ready to go home and relax, I drove to Wendy's across the street, ZERO issues using the SAME card I tried to use at McDonald's. Wow. Imagine that. Made me pull off to side to lecture me first because I had the gaul to ask the front end cashier if she was done talking after waiting for more than 5 minutes of conversation with other employees with no one in the restaurant. Alright I've been to so many McDonalds in my life but this one really did it every time I go something is messed up. Either the special request wasn't even attempted or they forget half the food in the bag. I stood there and watched the people on table standing around not making any food until the manager comes up and asks what I ordered. This Longwood location is kind of in a funky spot but the times I have ordered food from here have been good experiences. Hot burgers, tasty fries- what more could you ask for? I came here a couple nights ago to pick up a quick dinner for the family because I didn't have time to cook. The lady at the window was masked and gloves. The man at the second window asked me to pull into spot #2 because my food was not yet quite ready for me. I've never done a review for a fast food joint before. Honestly, I forgive almost all manners of mediocre service because it's fast food and I get that it's not an easy job. This time, however, I am making an exception. I want to thank the McDonald's in Longwood on 434 for taking so long (over 20 minutes) to get my 5 year old son's Happy Meal. We waited so long that he literally started crying because he thought you forgot about him. I cannot begin to stress how TERRIBLE this location is. We're not talking once or twice, but consistently, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. This location completely ruins the concept of eating. I mean seriously this could be the poster child for bad experiences. Slow service, bad attitudes, and it's not like anyone is even pretending to care how customers are treated. I like Mcdonalds there fries and hamburgers are pretty good an I have never had a problem at any of there locations, I also like that there is free WIFI and MOST not all are open 24 hours a day. I went threw the drive thru and it was pretty quick and easy and the order was right. No complains on this location and it is also easy to spot and get in and out. Head's up on an issue at this location...maybe it's happening at others too. When ordering breakfast combos recently (2 separate visits), without asking, they by-default upsize your meals to a medium. This adds about $.50 to the price. When I ask about the discrepancy between the price on the board and what they're charging they couldn't figure out why ("oh they just change the prices all the time"). The manager came over and explained that I ordered a medium size vs. a small. She changed the order with no apologies and the cashier was about to dump the medium coffee and pour a new one..."why waste that one I asked." I've had other issues at this location but to be honest, I've also encountered some very pleasant employees...I guess it depends on the time of day. I think they just need to be a little more straightforward with the pricing (and train the employees with what they're doing). read more

I was having issue with a coupon code from their app that would not scan apparently due to a glitch in their system. Manager was very dismissive and told me too bad but he could not honor it. I drove 2 miles up the street and they also had the same issue at the second location but the manager was more than happy to honor the coupon code without hesitation. If you ask me this manager was just a lazy ass unwilling to help out a customer. That's cool I will never go to your location for lunch again. Worst McDonald's in the area: Employees are SO rude . I always say thank you and please and treat all employees with respect. Every time I come here, they basically snatch the cash or card out of my hand and while I'm saying "have a great day?, the drive-thru window is being shut in my face. They never say thank you, have a great day/night, or anything remotely polite. They literally just take my money, give me change, and shut the window in my face. The first time it happened, I thought the employees were having a bad day but now I know it's just how the people are that work at this location. Sorry but customer service is everything and there's plenty of McDonald's I can choose to spend my money at and it will not be this one anymore. Often, the younger girl employees will give me side-eyes and dirty looks for no reason. I'm super sweet every time I visit because I know what it's like to be in their shoes so I'm not sure why this always happens. The only employee that is THE BEST is the lady who usually works the drive thru all by herself late at night. She might be a manager but I'm not sure. She is super nice, sweet and always tells me to have a great night. She always gets my order correct and handles the drive thru SO WELL. I love her. Wish I knew her name so I could give her the recognition she deserves. She deserves a raise and I wish the other employees would follow her excellent example. Anyway, this particular location is more expensive than the others in the area! Apple slices are usually 50¢ and here they're $1. If something is usually $1.19, here it will be $1.99. For no reason. Not worth it to pay extra for horrible service. ALSO, almost every time I order food here, it tastes as if it's been sitting out for days and days. 8 times out of 10, the fries are literally hard as a rock, the burger meat tastes disgusting, the cheese is not melted, and all the food is cold and not made fresh. I've never had an experience like this before in my life! I ordered 3 meals and was given my 3 drinks and asked to park to wait for food. After about 12 mins food came out and was missing 1 order of fries. The girl took my bag and said she'd get them. Once entering the store she approached another girl sitting down and began to vape while holding my bag of food. Now its been well over 15mins. I was fed up and asked for my money back. I was now pulled up by the drive thru area. The girl started to argue with me that I only order 2 fries when I clearly didn't (hens the 3 drinks and 3 meals). I told her that I wasn't going to argue with her and just wanted my money back, that it's been way too long now. I asked for the manager and told her, then she tried to give me 3 new fries when I just wanted my money. I also told her that I was blocking the drive thru and she said that was fine. Then she obliged and gave me my money and apologized. She seemed disturbed when she heard that the girl was vaping while holding my food and working. Once I got home I found ketchup or bbq sauce squirted on the tail light of my car, definitely from one of the employees. Completely unacceptable!
