The staff were friendly, but the delay was due to them running out of meat. I didn't know that was a thing at Burger joint. The manager was apologetic and a little embarrassed. Food was ok, not as good as prior years. Would I return, probably but not via the drive through. Cars behind us left, due to the delay I'd guess. I haven't been to Sonics in a while , from other reviews and my past reviews I can see a mix of reviews about this establishment. You can order your food thru the drive thru or park your car and order and enjoy your meal in the car but if you don't like eating in your car you can sit outside in there picnic style tables. The food is ok , nothing to special about my corn dog tasted like your typical frozen corn dog that was microwave. My son's ordered the kids meals and they said the food was good and it came with a drink and your choice of a side (tater tots, mozzarella sticks or fries) The service is ok and it seems at times if you order it can take a long time to wait, I notice some one ordered before us and got their order way after we got ours. Ambience well the place is some what kept clean in the parking lot area but the bathrooms were super dirty and nasty looking and only the men's bathroom was working, also there is only one men's bathroom and one women's bathroom so if the bathroom is being used and you gotta go you are screwed. Overall all ok food, the service is probably what gave it a few stars but in reality the bathrooms made me not want to comeback. They charged me for a small water after I spent $25 in food anywhere else we would of gotten free water it's not like you are eating inside and can just get a sprite instead of a water. read more

You definitely need to check your order when going through the drive through. Numerous times I have never gotten my full order or I have gotten someone else's and once even charged for someone else's. The food is fast food which is good. Simple concept- park in a spot, press the red button when you are ready to order(no pressure like a drive through); after pressing the red button about a minute later a voice asks for my order. The menu is right in front of me with a status bar so I don't wonder what's going on. Now my food arrived. It took about 10 minutes which consider reasonable. Drive thru and walk up gets priority which I am okay with. I was able to pay at the screen which make me feel comfortable. The burger was a notch above Wendys. The tots were okay but not salty. Great comfort food. Biting into that burger is so delicious and satisfying all the way to the end. I recommend you come and sit for a spell instead of the drive thru. I came here solely for a slushie because with these hot Florida days feeling like it's over 100° I needed something very cold to drink. I ordered mine in the blue raspberry flavor which was sweet and not sour and my boyfriend ordered Cherry with nerds candy on top. You read that right... they offer nerds candy as a topping for an added sweet boost. We realized after we left they forgot the nerds in my boyfriend's slushie, which was sad for him, but cherry alone was still very good. We will definitely be back and next time I'm sure he'll check for the nerds before driving off. read more

I have been going to Sonic for quite some time now ordering the cherry limeade slush. I used to order it and it would be absolutely delicious. As of the beginning of this year for some reason I go there and order the exact same thing a cherry limeade slush and I get craziness. It either has no limeade, or very little. The next time I went I ordered the same order and it came with no limeade just two slices of lime which doesn't do the trick. I told them it had no limeade and they didn't seem to understand any of what I said. I tried one more time last week ordering the same thing and I got a slush that was colorless with two slices of lime and some type of jam made up of washed up strawberries. It look 15 minutes for the cars to move (typical because they are always slow). We reached the speaker at 9:31 and were informed that they closed at 9:30 pm. We said that we had been in line since 9:15 and asked to speak to the manager. We were told that we were speaking to the manager and then she proceeded to ignore us. Obviously we left because the message was loud and clear that our business was not wanted or needed. I understand closing, but there are protocols that staff can put in place. Use a cone to block the drive-thru, turn the lights off on the menu, etc. read more

The 3-star reviews of this Sonic are about right, though I'm giving it an extra star because everything I've ordered here over the years has been just fine/what I was expecting and I've never received sub-par customer service. I've been here maybe a total of 10 times over the years, so I'm by no means a "regular," but it hits the spot once in a while. I was here last night to use a buy one burger/get one free coupon. I went through the drive-through and was in & out in just a few minutes. The food was just what I was expecting ... obviously, not the best burger in town, but it still was good and, well, free hamburgers are tough to say "No" to. The majority of my past visits here have been to get milkshakes. I used to get the coconut cream pie or banana cream pie shakes. I don't remember seeing them on the drive-through menu when I was here last night, but I'll take a closer look during my next visit. I haven't been to a sonic for over 5 years, this being maybe my first in my young adulthood. I just moved down the street and wanted some burgers the other day and was happy to see there was a sonic near as I never lived near one. Fast forward to my review: The order: I pulled up and gazed at the menu before pressing the red button to have Craig take my order of two classic burgers and mesquite burger. I had gotten the combo with one of the classic burgers so I could enjoy a drink. For my drink I noticed I could add flavorings, so instinctively I asked for sprite with blue coconut flavoring. Turns out that is how they make their ocean water drink which had a beautifully refreshing taste. It was close to the coconut berry Red Bull without the sourness and caffeine. After ordering I could see the items being played with and though nothing of it. Until I saw that Craig had changed my combo order to the mesquite burger, saving me a couple dollars! :) The wait: It wasn't bad maybe ~10 mins. They had a steady flow of people there, and Alanna was working diligently, going in and out, bringing people their food. The food: The burgers were wrapped so nicely. Upon opening them them I was given a very neatly made and symmetrical burger. The condiments were so well placed that it didn't fall apart or make a mess while eating. The taste: The burger was solid and quality. Nothing you'll shoot your mother for, but definitely a good burger. My favorite are the pickles. They're out of this world! They have such tang with a slight cucumber hint. I can tell there was pepper in the brine. They have such a nice kick with the tang without the heat and saltiness. Conclusion: Overall this is a very convenient eatery with good American food, and a vast spectrum of flavors in their drinks, deserts, and food, with good customer service and a care in the craftsmanship of the food. The egg on my jr. breakfast burrito was hard and burnt. I contacted the restaurant and spoke to with a woman who asked me for my name and said to come by at my convenience, for replacements. When I went to get them two days later, I was told "your name isn't in the book, sorry". I ended up paying for the replacements, then receive what you see in the photos. I also asked for no meat, just like I had earlier that week.. yet the second burritos contained sausage, and were just more hard and burnt than the last.
