One of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had! We stopped there at 9:15 PM and placed an order, they had us pull around front and said they would bring it out to us, sat there for 45 minutes and they didn't even have our order or a record of our order. We finally got our order about an hour and 15 minutes after we had ordered it. There were also two other group groups in there with the same issue that they forgot their order. I needed to be more clear about my big breakfast and the eggs. I am allergic to eggs and asked for them on the side. Other McDonalds put the eggs on a separate plate (my husband eats them). The eggs were still placed on the plate making part of the meal inedible where the eggs had soaked in. Oh well, I take responsibility for not being more clear about the separate plate. A bigger problem at this location is how difficult it is to get in and out of the parking lot. This is not a unique problem with Livingston businesses near the on/off interstate ramps. I'm sure the only reason this place stays open is because of the location, making it a quick pick for tourists and people accessing the interstate, which is what I was doing, after stopping in Livingston to gas up for the rest of my drive home. I ordered a double cheeseburger, which ended up being the most disgusting thing I think I have ever eaten. Of course, I didn't take my first bite until I was well on my way down the interstate... the beef was overcooked and dry, and extremely salty, like jerky. It actually tasted like the beef patties were cooked the day before, then heated up again when I placed my order. Everything on it was luke warm and gross. The bun was falling apart. I love McDonalds. This location is great. I get hot fresh fries every time I stop by and they are so nice. I mostly use the mobile order.

Things are looking up. This McDonald's has struggled for some time. Finding help has been a challenge. Keeping the restrooms clean and the store clean was a challenge. But today, I was pleasantly surprised. The ladies restroom was spotless. Even smelled clean. My husband said the men's room could have been cleaner. The dining area was clean. The self serve drink area was clean and organized. The kitchen area (from what I could see) was clean. Order was correct and timely. Unfortunately, the sign of our times requires that you use the kiosk to place your order. I miss placing my order at the counter. Although, there are two girls to help if you need it, and they are friendly, wouldn't it be just as easy to take the order? read more

Stopped in for two meals. My chicken deluxe has so much sauce, it was making a mess everywhere. Bun was overly toasted, it was HARD! Had a few pieces of small lettuce. Will never order meal again! We asked for ketchup and she said 'well did you previously ask for ketchup?" Very rude. When she handed the bag over to us, she briefly looked into the bag! For what? I was unable to check-in because of no cell service. I hadn't planned on eating at McDonald's, but because my motel only had a continental Affair offered, I decided to continue on my drive to see what was available enroute. Well, my stomach started to let me know that it wanted to be filled. So, I took the next exit that have food available. And, that turned out to be Livingston, Montana. Unfortunately, at this exit, there isn't a whole lot of choice for breakfast. I ordered the Sausage (includes egg & cheese) breakfast burritos (2 small sized ones) with a hash browns, that were served hot. For $4.99 (and no sales tax 8-o ), they were pretty good. Of course, some picante sauce helped. ;-) What surprised me here, was the table card for your meal to be brought to the table. 8-) The cashier was pleasant and courteous. But, the gal who delivered my meal needs an attitude adjustment. I said thank you, ma'am. And, she walked off without saying a word. Sorry, no pictures. This is a situation of tourism screws up everything. This used to be a community restaurant. Playland was great for kids to burn off the during the endless brutal winter, birthday parties etc. Now this is just a stop for travelers on I-90. Prices are massively inflated because they have to pay workers $19 an hour because the rich moving to Montana have driven housing prices so high ordinary people can no longer find places to live. Live 20 miles from the Livingston, MT McDonalds. Looking forward to a quarter pounder meal! The girl at the window put my two drinks in a caddy. I said I did not need a caddy. She stated that her "boss" says they have to serve drinks in a caddy. A "man" appeared from behind her stating; it is the health department's rule. This restaurant never gets my order correct. Today, they failed to put the extra cheese on so I got back in the drive up line, which was quite long. I told them about the issue and when I got to the window again, their solution was to give me the cheese they failed to put on the sandwich. I asked them to remake the burgers but they didn't do that. Instead they just slapped the cheese they tried to give me onto the now cold burgers. I've never written a bad review but this was seriously the worst service I've ever experienced. The girl in the drive through didn't understand our simple order and I had to repeat it multiple times, my boyfriend got annoyed which she may have heard, and when we received our hash browns they were absolutely covered in salt, deliberately. We were then told to wait in the parking lot for the chicken to be cooked, we waited 20 minutes and when I finally went inside, the guy said it would be a little wait for egg (egg now?? I thought it was chicken?), so I just asked for whatever he could give me. He asked me to wait for the burger. Then they only gave me one burger instead of two. Apparently the girl didn't put our second burger on the order despite repeating it at least 5 times. Zero management. Slow staff, one even appeared to be high, bloodshot eyes and so slow and confused. Ridiculous. read more

I would not even give a one star rating. Every time I visit they are not able to get my very simple order right. For example today I placed my order, the person who took my order read it back to me, then the cashier read my order again to me. When I got to the pick up window I asked if they did my order right and instead of looking to make sure I was told the ticket said it was right. Well it was wrong again how hard is it to get extra pickles on a burger? Not to mention they managed to get my mom's order right, it was supposed to be a quarter pounder deluxe meal, she got that along with seriously ridiculous amount of mayo and both burgers had way too much pepper as well.
