My experience today was not good. I arrived, placed my order, pulled to the window to pay. After paying I sat there for four minutes. No action at the window or near where I could see. Finally, this guy comes, without explanation, ask me to pull up to one of the spaces where you wait for them to bring your food to your vehicle. After seven minutes I have had enough. I get out of my car, go inside and again I see no one. I am furious by this point. Finally, this lady comes up front and hands a bag of food to someone I thought was a dine in. I tell her I cannot wait any longer and I would like a refund. She tells me it will be 12 minutes longer on the apple pies I ordered. I didn't even know that was the hold up. Absolutely NOT! Refund please! She processes the refund, I place my card in to complete the transaction and I hear her mutter $5.01. I said "ma'am my order contained 4 other items." She says your other food is right here. I am soooooo done by now because all this time my food was sitting while you made these Apple pies from scratch. Yes, my food was not hot. This was my 3rd visit in 8 years to a McDonald's. Now I remember why I stopped. Horrible service today. read more

Closed 30 minutes early forcing me to cancel my mobile order which won't be refunded for a week very unprofessional

This McDonald's is one of the worst ones I've been to. The place was very hot as if the ac didn't work and was full of flies. I ordered a quarter pounder and added lettuce and tomato. That was a mistake because when you pay extra for tomato you get 3 slices and I got 1 slice and it was the butt of the tomato so it couldn't be ate. This location usually has friendly staff, with the exception of tonight's visit. The food is usually average, in uniform with all of the other locations, IF you can get something close to what you irdeAs usual, I had to pull forward and wait about 10 minutes for pre-prepared food. Tenders were piping hot, fries were stone cold. Asked for sweet and sour and honey mustard, instead got no sauces of any kind, nor ketchup. Like I said before they are usually friendly, but tonight, after waiting almost ten minutes, I was met by a young lady who simply said "tenders." As she shoved my bag sideways in my car. If I didn't live practically next door, I would never come back to this location. Update: as of 5/9/21, have been here multiple times per month since my review. For the last several weeks, there has been quite literally 2 people working in the entire restaurant. The drive through takes over 30 minutes, regardless of time of day. It's absolutely ridiculous to have to drive 10 minutes past this location to the next one, and still be back home before this location would have you served. At this point, if this location doesn't want the business, please move out and let someone who does care have the location. read more

On our way to Atlanta the other night the child needed her some chicken McNuggets so we pulled into McDonald's in Columbia. The drive-thru line was super long so I opted to go in and get our food. I ordered a couple of burgers, fries, and sodas; and of course the McNuggets. The lady working the register was very nice and told me I should get the 20 piece McNuggets since I'd save so much money by doing so. I was tired and agreed. My order came out pretty quick and I was on my way back to the car with our burgers and compressed chicken parts better known as McNuggets. I was delighted that the food was hot and the fries were fresh. Pretty standard McD's taste, but good service and freshly cooked go a long way. read more

By far the best I've been in many yrars. I've been to this location twice as of today in a 3 week period. I went at 2:30 the first time. There is a reason it was busy even then. Best fries( crispy and hot) and quarter pounder ( lots of onions and hot) around. Perfecto! read more

every time i come here i hope my experience will be better than the last but it keeps getting worse. after waiting 20 minutes just to order i got two people confirming my burgers had just ketchup (as i'm allergic to pickles) and when i got them and opened them up they were full of onions mustard ketchup and lots of pickles. after two people confirmed them to be "just ketchup". good customer service tho i guess? read more

Just ordered the Artisan Chicken Sandwich and it was pretty awful. I asked three employees about the sandwich and they all raved about it. Just stick with the basics at McDonalds. Probably should just go to another restaurant. ConAgra foods should just quit using this restaurant for their processed food. read more

This place has 2 lanes for a drive thru. They don't know how to make the lines go fast enough and takes a long time. I ordered a CBO (Cheddar, bacon, onion) sandwich with no onions. After a long time waiting we got to the window and had to wait more and they eventually made us pull up. And when they brought my food out they had a lot of onions on it. I'm never going to this place again. It is also really hard to pull out of this place because of traffic read more

Just came through the drive thru and ordered a mc double and a large tea, payed and got to second window and was handled a medium tea. I Sayed it was supposed to be a large. The girl said we don't have any large cups. I said someone should have told me. She said it didn't matter because all drinks for a dollar. I said but I ordered a large I rather have a large than a medium so I said someone should have told me you didn't have any large cups when I place my order. So she turns to the girl behind her and she says just give him a small or a another medium so she gave me another small tea and slammed window. read more

This is what happens when you remodel a store focusing on the drive thru. Your walk ins get backed up and you don't know how to multi task your staff and customers walk out or worse, get teed off ! As someone who has worked in food service more than 20 year I have seen the ups and down so this is sad because we don't want to get out of our cars and suv's so they try to please us by having a double drive thru and no playgrounds which were dangerous anyway. My experience with this McDonald's has been both negative and...neutral. Negative: Went out for breakfast for the first time in a while and I ordered a big breakfast with hot cakes. They gave me nothing with my big breakfast. No butter, no syrup, nothing. My hash brown was unsalted, which I would be okay with but they weren't rushed at all. It was only myself and one other couple standing around waiting for their food. Lastly, my eggs were very obviously undercooked and watery. To add on to that, the cashier sounded extremely rude and the janitor looked like he was....well, his mind was elsewhere. My neutral experience was that they didn't mess anything up and they weren't particularly rude. Just kind of uncaring. I don't really expect anyone who gets paid minimum wage to have to put on a smile for my ugly mug though, so no fault for that. Overall I guess this location is alright. read more
