Traveling and need a place to stop? This is NOT the place for you! A group of us were traveling and placed orders in our separate apps. We all chose in store pickup with a plan to make a quick visit to the restrooms while the food was being made. So imagine our surprise when the doors were locked. And the small print on the door said "dining room permanently closed". We went through the drive-thru to get our food and the attendant had a hard time figuring out where our food was or how to enter the number since it was not a drive through code. The dining room being closed clearly wasn't a last minute decision. And the thing is, we wouldn't have minded this if 1) the app had reflected that inside pickup was not available and 2) there were larger more obvious signs on the door. Stopped in on the way from Madison to Milwaukee. Hubs got coffee and I used the bathroom. Coffee, reportedly, was typical McD's. The bathroom was small and clean. The stalls? One thats straight up illegal, two the lady who was about 50+ at the window was so beyond rude about it and refused any sympathy. We are on a road trip and have been driving for hours. I just moved to town from Indiana and this McDonald's is by far the worst one I've been to. They can't keep their ice cream machine or frappe machine working. That's typical for most McDonalds though. What's not is them closing the store prior to the close time. Then to top it off the Lobby is RARELY open. The employees they have are not friendly and rude most of the time. 0/10 would not recommend. Culver's is just across the road, go there and save yourself the trouble. read more

I don't tend to review McDonald's and such - but this location is fantastic and all of the Mcds in the area should go here to learn a thing or well, 500. They're super clean, kind, and quick to make it a special experience for kids with family nights, balloons, coloring sheets and more. The PlayPlace is on the smaller side, but there is a bathroom located in there which is awesome! We love this location! read more

This is the first stop on our 3 week vacation. The restrooms are small but were clean. Always a plus. We notified the cashier it would be a large order and she was very pleasant and had a smile on her face. We used the App to order our food. We did not receive all the food in our order. There is not a way for us to get refunded through the app for missing food. We are required to call the restaurant which I did since this is the 3rd time in the last 3 months that we have not been given our entire order when using the app and we are tired of paying for food that we do not get. I talked to an employee there who told me there is not a way for them to refund through the app but he did confirm that our missing sandwich was still sitting there. He advised I could drive back and get it if I wanted. Why would we want to let the rest of food get cold and our shakes to melt to go back to pick up something we should have been given in the first place? He then advised he would send me coupons for a couple of free meals for the inconvenience. I provided my name and address and he told me he would put them in the mail the next day. Of course we never received anything in the mail so yet again McDonald's stole from us because bottom line that is what it is...stealing. McDonald's needs to better as a company at making sure the individual stores have the ability to refund an order placed with the app. I understand that the employees are under time constraints to make sure customers receive their food as fast as possible and sometimes mistakes can happen but that is not an excuse for us to receive a refund. read more

We have been pulling off I-94 to this McD's for years. Plan on it for food & restrooms on trips from Milwaukee. Today was one of my favorites! They are doing a major remodel, including the drivethru & parking lot. Looks lile a disaster BUT it was kinda fun making our way on the obstacle course to the 1st window. Paid for our order & got a small sand timer. Huh? If your order isn't ready by the time the sand runs out you get a coupon for something. Didn't get a coupon. Got a hot Sausage Biscuit & the rest. I love those SBs but it's been years since I got one from all the other McD's I randomly visit that was not only a correct sandwich (no egg or cheese), but also HOT!!. Wow!!! Awesome! The food was great! The service was great! It's like the McDonald's that time forgot. Restaurant was clean inside and out. Employees were all in uniform and talked to the customers at the counters. They even had balloons, crayons and Coloring sheets out for the kids. This owner clearly cares and understands the value of crew retention. I didn't know fast food restaurants like this still existed. This is the worst fast food place I have ever been to. The wait is always over 10 minutes and more times than not they mess up my order. I recomend going to mings garden downtown they will have your order ready in ten minute, they never mess up the order, the cost isn't much more than McDonald's and the food is awesome. read more

I recently moved into the Waterloo/Lake Mills area and have stopped at this McDonald's lots of different times. Mostly drive-thru and usually in the mornings or later at night. EVERY time I have been there they have taken over 10 mins to give me the food and EVERY time is wrong. I have never been to this McDonald's and had my order right. My husband has the exact same experience when he goes there as well. And the worst part is there are usually very busy when I'm there. So there is no excuse for taking over 10 mins and for messing up every single order. I've called them every single time they mess up, and they always seem apologetic and say they are sending me coupons and I have never received anything. Very poor management at that location.
