We love this breakfast place! It not only resembles a classic 1950s diner, it serves great tasting food with good prices. Just so you know, "Everything here is made from scratch except the peas". The food here is always fresh and the specials here always come with a salad bar option. Please try a shake here, you won't regret it!! Open on Christmas Day until 4pm.

Retro diner with a classic menu. Fun jukeboxes as decor. Staff is friendly and efficient. Seated quickly, despite a full restaurant . Food is delicious.

Ham & Cheese Omelet with toast and fruit instead of potatoes

Arrived at 8 am. It wasn't busy yet. We sat down and immediately got asked if we were ready to order. I am not a regular, so I told her I needed to see the menu. The waitress came back like a minute later. I still wasn't ready. This happened quickly a couple more times. We then put in our order. The toast arrived quickly and was put down near my friend so she started eating it. Usually toast comes with your meal so it is warm. When the food came out, I didn't have any toast. Haha! I guess mine was the one my friend started eating. So she brought me some more. I didn't like the jelly packets sitting on top of my toast. Who knows who has touched the packets or where they have been and now they are on top of my toast. The food was okay. The fruit was ripe, but some were rotten. I went to pay with cash, and received more back than I needed as the waitress said they didn't have any change. Very strange!!

Reliable diner food with incredibly fast and friendly service. We tried Gus's Diner on a busy Sunday morning. We were immediately seated at the bar, and had a hot cup of coffee in my hands before I knew it. Gloria was an amazing waitress, and made sure our order was in quickly, and that we had everything we needed.

Some of the portion sizes were smaller, others large. They do have great kid options. We got a cinnamon roll, Mickey pancake, kids egg breakfast, and skillets. The cinnamon roll was good but didn't have a warm a doughy center like I really love with a fresh cinnamon roll. The other breakfasts were solid, no real notes outside of the biscuit being very dry and some of the fruit being bad. Service 5/5: our waitress was very accommodating. Our food came quickly and she overall did an amazing job. Ambiance 5/5: this place is so much fun, especially for kids. My kiddos loved watching the planes come in and land. We were in the corner, so we had a partially obstructed view, but is still such a fun atmosphere to be able to watch the planes come in and out. Overall this is more of an experience than a place to come back to for the food. The parking lot can get pretty packed, so be patient if trying to find a spot. I would absolutely make a reservation whenever you want to go here to ensure you get a table at the time you want. They are cash only, and they're transparent about that, so don't be surprised by that piece.

It is a very old diner, so everything is very dated but in a classic way. The food is a great value for the price. We both got cheeseburgers. Solid burger, a bit dry. The onion rings were my favorite. They were so crispy and delicious. I do wish they had the classic restaurant buttermilk ranch instead of the bottled stuff. The fries are on the crunchier side, but not bad. My only issue was the service. We sat at one of the tables in the back and it took almost 15 minutes before someone came over to us. We tried to wave one of the servers down, but they were busy with the other customers. We considered leaving because we thought they forgot about us. Eventually, we got the attention of the server at the bar. Unfortunately, other than taking our order, she never checked on us and didn't refill our drinks. We were also confused at the end when it came to paying. She went to another table to take their money and bill, but we waited a long time and she never came to us. We ended up walking up to the bar and paying there because at that point we were there for over an hour already. Lesson learned. We should've waited for a seat at the bar so she could have noticed us. If we were in a hurry to get to a game, this slow service would've been a bigger issue. You get what you pay for I guess. Come for the inexpensive food, not the service.

I have been going to their cafe on Wednesday afternoons for years now. I have never once had a bad meal. With an ever-changing menu and the dedicated student volunteers, you will always be able to have a unique experience. I can't say enough about their farm-to-table philosophy, utilizing the most local ingredients available. The continually strive to educate people on the benefits of local food and communicate where all of their food comes from. This integrity of this concept also draws in many guest chefs, giving them a platform to share a unique menu with the community. Not only is the food amazing and the premise solid, but the meals are very inexpensive. This allows more people to take part. And for those that cannot afford it, they started a pay-it-forward option. If you are able and inclined, you can pay for an extra meal to help cover the meals for those less fortunate. How do you beat good food, a commitment to the local community, and the dedication to be available for everybody? To be honest, I'm not sure you can.
