Went thru McDonalds in LaVale Md. at 11:30 on 7/13/2025 and ordered a number 4 and what I got was just a piece of chicken with no condiments of any kind(no sauce or anything on it) and also ordered 2 cheeseburgers and the buns was very very old, employees need to make the orders correctly. Okay so too start off there was no one else in there when I got there and I had to wait in line to be ordered for over 10 minutes. and they knew I was out there because they kept looking at me, and I got a burger and the cheese was only half way on it and there was only one pickle on it. Super convenient location in Cumberland, MD right off the highway. I believe they're newly renovated so the interior is very clean and bathrooms are nice. They take appropriate measures to reduce any likelihood of COVID19 transmissions by socially distancing, closing off certain dining areas and requiring entrants to wear a mask. There's nothing else really special about this location (food is pretty standard) but I truly appreciate their cleanliness (especially during these times). read more

Went there through the drive through. Asked for sauce x4 times and still did not get any. The drive through employee seemed like he was mocking me. The workers here are EXTREMELY rude! Both girls we dealt with tonight had an AWFUL attitude when they didn't give us our sauce and locked the doors early so we couldn't even go in and get it. When we went back around the drive thru they were extremely rude and gave us the bare minimum. We got a vanilla latte and it was disgusting. We asked for extra vanilla and liquid sugar and it tasted like coffee water. It was also filled to the brim with ice to where you could barely get the straw through. read more

living in lavale, i frequent this mcdonald's often. what i've learned is check your bag. every. single. time. I still forget. For every 10 times i go there, they mess up my order 7 times. it is literally that often. small orders. just me. sometimes a passenger. last time i was there i was in a hurry and jokingly asked the window person to pinky promise it was right. Sure enough i get home and they forgot my daughters order entirely. I can't believe I'm reviewing the McDonald's in LaVale. I've only gone here for breakfast because the hotel I was staying at started their breakfast too late (7am). Their food is their absolute standard fare. One tip: If you go there to get coffee in the mornings, go to the drive-through instead of going in. When you go in, you get coffee from these very large dispensers, so there is a chance that you're getting lukewarm coffee that's been sitting there a while. If you go through the drive-through, they pour your coffee from fresh pots. read more

This is not one of the better McDonalds in the area. It is newly built and well staffed, but the food is not consistent. The location is very convenient though. I would suggest the Frostburg or Bel Air McDonalds over this one. read more

Went there at 3:30 a.m. because I'm working nights. Ordered 2 McChicken sandwiches. The sandwiches were cold when I got them, and I should have taken the clue. Ended up suffering with food poisoning for a week. Colleague went there a week later, ordered the same thing, again late at night, he took one bite and threw it out the window. Convenient location right off the highway. Everything you would expect from a McDonald's food-wise. If you're in a hurry, definitely go through the drive through. I was third in line to order inside the store and waited 20 minutes before I got my order of 20 mcnuggets. read more

This location provides as little 'amenity' as possible, make sure you verbally ask for napkins and straws and be sure and check your order if you go through the drive through. I've never been inside this particular store but the drive through definitely gives the impression that every penny is being counted. read more

Waited at the window for 7 minutes before being acknowledged the lobby was closed so they were not busy. Looking through drive thru window my order had been sitting on counter the entire time. DO NOT EAT CHICKEN HERE!!!! My 3 year old daughter got food poisoning from a ten piece from here ordered during lunch rush approx 12:00-1:00pm. You would think the food would be atleast fresh. Hell no just a rush job that has had her sick all day and puking everything she eats. This is not the first time its happened either. Both my wife and I got food poisoning on three seperate occasions from under cooked McChicken sandwiches. To clarify the first time it was just her when everyone else had a McDouble. The second and the third was the both of us and the kids got McDoubles. I repeat DO NOT ORDER CHICKEN THERE!!! I could overlook a time or maybe two but not with weeks in between. The chances are very slim that the same person was working everytime. Clearly there isn't enough being done to train or watch the employees correctly maybe both.. If you want a get out of work free card be my guest. From now on I will just shell out the extra money and go elsewhere. First of all, I am and have been an empolyee of this McDonald's in La Vale for 2 years now. There are no "dispensers" inside that give you lukewarm coffee. We use a coffee brewer (same brand, type, model, no difference) in both the drive thru AND front counter. In which the coffee is always hot, always on a burner. As for my review, as an employee, I couldn't ask for a better fast food employer. Free meal on your break, 50% off discount anytime, free uniform & uniform replacement, a raise every 6 months, offers college program aid (become a shift manager and McDonald's basically pays for your college fees), they also pay for any employee's, including crew members, college books, flexible schedule, and so much more. Most of our complaints come from people who know not what they're talking about, drives me crazy. Hope this helps someone look at things from our point of view. It's a great place, come see. read more
