Using the Mcdonald's app to order specific things or changes has always been a gamble for me on whether it's made correctly, and this location guarantees it. Ordered food to pick up in the front. My food did not have any sauce. I said "excuse me", nicely to an older woman that works in the front. I had to repeat myself twice to try and get her attention just to find out she was just ignoring me. She didn't make eye contact with me at all, just said "wait for someone else to help you" while looking at the front ordering screen. I was shocked that someone could be so rude. They're earning excellent money, but when I said "Thank you" as the girl handed us our change, she simply ignored me... (!) Will not be stopping by for awhile. Upon my most recent visit the cashier at the window/speaker was amazing super sweet and understanding. Their speaker system needs to be repaired. It makes it hard to communicate. I got a pretty small order, two snack wraps and some double cheese burgers. After paying and pulling Forward to the window. The cashier with a purple shirt did not greet me or tell me how long I'd be waiting for my food instead she rudely drops my drink into my hands instead of giving me the chance to grab it. I mention this because I spilled some in my car but she walks away as she does this so I'm just waiting here for close to fifteen minutes she comes back after yelling at some employee bagging the food he also just kept pacing around at one point in these fifteen minutes peeking around the corner?. I get my food and she says nothing so I tell her to have a good day and she just mumbled it back to me as she closed the window behind her walking away. My snack wraps were cold as I got them. I saw no need in coming back to have a fresh one made if the one running the show is the one disrespected me. read more

It is now fancy and modern looking. It's so "awesome." Unfortunately, the important stuff had to go, like the soda machine...and condiments...and napkin dispensers... On the bright side, you get to interact with the staff to get anything, including waiting for the cashier to have time to help you in between taking orders to get a refill. I just ordered one large coke for curbside delivery and it took 15 minutes for a team member to bring it out to me and that only happened after I noticed four other cars pull in for curbside delivery after me and receive their large orders and I finally asked the last of those team members where my large Coke was. They brought out my large Coke soon after I asked for it, but that was still 10 minutes after their quoted five minute wait time. If you need a good espresso and a hearty breakfast while you're traveling, McDonald's is one of the best options you can seek out. A double shot of espresso is just over a dollar! To be honest, the quality of the coffee is higher than what you would get at Starbucks and I would even argue that the flavor of the beans they have chosen rival a number of smaller artisanal coffee shops that I've been to that charge nearly five times as much for an espresso. The crema is strong and the taste lingers in your mouth for a few minutes after you are finished your cup. Egg McMuffin and the yogurt parfait are great healthy breakfast choices. There are even some new breakfast bowls that I may try on another visit. This McDonald's location in particular is excellent for several reasons. I stopped in for breakfast on both a weekend and weekday and experienced no line. The service was so friendly; the store manager even remembered me and what I had ordered after only a single visit. The dining area is lined with windows and has beautiful views of the mountains as well as a nice flower garden right outside. The bathrooms were perhaps a little small given how many people could sit in the restaurant, but they were very clean. read more

Now this place always gets it right. Hot food when you are in a hurry. But what makes this place special is that spectacular view. You just don't see that at a Ms D. And you don't have to pay a premium price for premium seating. And I rarely think of this as a breakfast place, but they do a fabulous job of getting out a great breakfast in a hurry. I have yet to have a bad meal here. Maybe I'm lucky, or maybe I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. The Chicken has a Light seasoned batter on it. It was freshly fried. I asked for the Spicy ayoli on the side. As I had never tried it here. Which in the end I didn't like, compared to ayoli I get at other cafes. So I had the sandwich with Mayo , lettuce and tomato, and it was delicious! I just wanted to give a huge shout out and thank Sergio (general manager) of the La Quinta location. My 85 year old grandma who struggles to walk was trying to walk in to use the restroom. However, the dining area was closed. Sergio made the exception to allow her come in. He went the extra mile and even helped hold her arm on the other side to assist me. The McDonalds corporation has gone for profits in place of community support and tradition. Prices twice as high as other McDonald's and they hang up when you call. No bueno. Not coming back

Every time I order extra ice it's like it goes in one ear and out the other. They give you like six tiny little ice cubes floating on top of a somewhat cold soda. In this desert it melts and the soda is warm in five minutes. Today I sent the drink back and ask them to add extra ice so they put it in a large cup with extra ice but then they filled it up with diet Coke instead of regular Coke. So irritated. Aren't they paying these people like 14 bucks an hour now? Can we get somebody in there with a brain? Not to mention that not one word was spoken to me.
