Son playing, me watching intently. The service was quick, and the food was warm and to the usual KFC standard, and quite cheap for what we demolished. There ends the positivity. I despise when staff turn their back on you. Granted, there was a big wait for food coming through from the back, but rather than say that and apologise, all 3 people serving at the tills turned their back and chatted to each other in front of the queue, some people who hadn't even ordered yet. Infuriating. Also, when a deal states that regular gravy is part of the contents, INCLUDE THE GRAVY. BBQ sauce IS NOT GRAVY. I never got my gravy, is the underlying theme there. The tables around us were a bit of a state too, given the fact that the staff had time to chat to each other (and people they knew at the back of the queue in some cases) they could surely have cleaned off a couple of tables? In any case, people - put your own rubbish in the bin on the way out of fast food restaurants! I do it! It's not rocket science. Rubbish = bin! I had chicken strips that were so moist and tender - definitely cooked to order - and tasted like nothing I've ever had at KFC..... And, it didn't hurt one bit when the nice manager gave me a big smile and said "you have a lovely accent." :) Hey... by the way.... KFC also stands for Kilmarnock Football Club - GO KILLIE!!!

Daughter and her friends love the donner meat as The Village Hut uses a special variety only available from that establishment. Daughter says munchie boxes and pizzas are brilliant.
