Hubby & I stopped in because he was hungry. The restaurant was very clean. He ordered the $5 meal (McDouble, fries, chicken nuggets & a Dr. Pepper). They brought out the food in less than 5 minutes. I sampled a bite of everything. It tasted like typical McDonald's which is about average for a burger fast food joint. We had no complaints. read more

So annoying that Everytime I've ordered food here during the monopoly game, they never give the cups, sandwich boxes or the fries packet with the game pieces on it. I've asked before if I could have some with the pieces on it and I saw them reach down where they aren't normally and hand me a few. Hmm makes me think they are hoarding them for themselves. Why aren't they giving them out like they should? read more

I have had many terrible time here they always forget something from my order and when it gets the replace ment it is made wrong and one time I applied there and he said to my face I look annoying and he's not hiring me read more

I had great service with the workers Matthew Baisden, Greyson Vensel, and Asher Mcloud. They were super nice and when they made a mistake with my order they were sorry about it and gave me a free drink for the inconvenience. If they are ever working when your there you are lucky because I would trust those guys to run the place. read more

This McDonald's is probably one of the worst I've been too and unfortunately it's the closest and most convenient. Service is terrible. Usually out of things. Forget to give you your sauce etc. Just all around unpleasant. read more

We had ordered a catering service for a crew lunch for one hundred people on Sunday 06/30/24. The original catering service called us that morning and cancelled. I was freaking out to say the least. I had one hundred workers who were getting hungry and wanted lunch. I called this McDonalds location requesting two hundred double cheeseburgers, expecting them to tell me no. It was about 10:00 am. I need them in less than 2 hours. Talking with the GM, he said we got you and the food will be ready for pick up at Noon. I hung up the phone with excitement and the fact that a location restaurant saved our day. The food was ready on time and was super fresh. This McDonalds has won a customer for life. Thank you to the whole team for saving the day and making the crew happy and full. You are the best! Keep up the magnificent work and being a great community member. read more

Its mcdonalds! Unhealthy, greasy, definitely not fast food. Service was terrible - folks act like they're being forced to work there. Wont ever go back. read more

they hung up on me every single time I called! can you even believe that? Who would do such a thing that somebody was just trying to order McDonald's? would not recommend, one out of 10. read more

I will NEVER go to McDonalds again due to this location and their complete lack of customer service! I ordered and paid for breakfast for my family and I on the mobile app and went to the drive thru to pick it up. I pull up to the drive thru box at 10:29 and give my mobile order number and the lady says," This is breakfast, we aren't making breakfast anymore." I said I ordered it on the app 15 minutes ago and it was 10:29 when I told you my order #!" She says hold on, Manager gets on intercom and says pull around and lets talk about this. I pull around and he is clearly put off and says, "well, I can see if we have any of what you ordered lying around back here." Can you believe this crap!! I told him to refund my order and that I would NEVER go to any McDonalds ever again due to their lack of customer service. McDonalds can take their app and shove it where the sun doesn't shine too. read more

Not a whole lot of interesting places to eat in Johnstown (not a fan of Rt. 62 BBQ.) And of course the kid wants fries, and no Arby's nearby, so, McDonald's it is. We went in, and it is small, with kiosks, in the new style. Clean. Service was friendly. They messed up part of our order, and put it right with a genuine smile. Sweetie had a McMuffin, Baby K had a Happy Meal. Both were happy enough. I had the spicy chicken tenders. Not spicy, of course, but a slight zip, a tasty sauce, big tenders. Pretty good, for fast food. I like being able to add a salad; it was small, but fresh, and good. I'd actually go back. We eat at McDonald's WAY more than I would choose to nowadays, so I'm glad there are more interesting food options than there were, and healthier ones. read more

The Food is pretty good, but I sometimes get old fries. The Service is very fast and i appreciate them.

I got my family nuggets from here and the nugget boxes where smashed like they just threw everything in the bag

I will NEVER go inside this restaurant. I literally saw en employee pick up the "order number" yet the tables were not wiped down. Definitely NOT a good place to come into eat. read more

Consider the previous reviews. This McDonald's is not nice. Food was pretty awful. Mud everywhere in the lobby. Piss on the floors in the bathroom. Never had a worse chicken nugget in my life and I'm not sure how. read more

The service wasn't good. The order was extremely wrong. They were out of sweet tea, sprite, coke, and straws at the self serve. One of the young employees was loud and and rude. I understand being short staffed, but it was a bad experience. Do not recommend ordering online and don't recommend going there at all. read more

Worst McDonald's ever! Everytime I've gone here they've messed up my order. All I ask is to keep pickle and onion off my sandwich and make sure sauce is in the bag if needed. Hardly ever gets it right. Usually won't even put the straw in the bag!!! I can't even with this place anymore!!! read more

Good place to eat but thay forget your food a lot ut overall it's a good place it is always clean

Terrible location that is always busy but can never seem to get it right. I just drove away because no one ever came to the window to accept my payment - something McDonalds is definitely skilled at; taking money. Avoid this location and the town of Johnstown in general if you can, this place is garbage. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Good luck getting an order correct out of this place. You wait endlessly at the drive-thru line only to get a messed up order or someone else's order. Been living in Jtown for 4yrs now and I'm YET to get an order that is right. STAY AWAY, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY. Worse McDonald's I've ever been to. Service & food are both BAD! read more

Takes forever at the drive thru. During today's visit, I ordered a medium Diet Coke. I'm not sure what I got. Instead of Diet punched on the lid, it says Other. It tastes like it's either regular Coke or Coke Zero. And NO ice! McDonalds restaurants always have the best softdrinks, which is why they are my go-to when I need to stop, but this location managed to screw even that up. read more

Unbelievable!!!! I left for my niece's cross country meet (to make an hour drive). I left my house giving myself a solid 20+ minutes to spare.I waited around 30 minutes in line!!!!! Not only that but my food was wrong, stale, dry and Luke warm at best. I missed the meet because of this. read more

Absolute shit. They put my fries in my happy meal upside down and they spilled everywhere. Chocolate milk tasted like horse shit too.

I went and the food was good and the staff was amzing especially jake, landen, and abby they deserve a raise

This McDonald's has its issues and I usually don't complain, but everytime I come through the drive thru I watch them grab my fries without gloves and their hands are always groping the whole top layer of my fries, pandemic or not that's repulsive everyone should be wearing gloves. read more

I generally stop here on my way to church. The employees are friendly enough....but it generally takes forever to get my order. And they've messed it up a few times. I only go here because its the closest one in route. NO much else I can really say except "eh....." read more

McDonald's - a mcdonald's on a cloudy day - Fast Food Near Me - Johnstown, Ohio

I go to McDonald's every where once again a McDonald's with coffee machine not up and running 2 days in a row I can see being behind one day but 2 don't mean to be mean I just want my mocha in the morning makes my whole day sorry just upset read more

This has to be the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I travel all over this country a d have eaten in almost every state, this place is awe full. There is a line around the building for the drive thru, so I thought I would just go in. There was a very RUDE lady and I use that term VERY loosely who met me at the door, and yelled" we don't have any help, the dining room is closed" and then literally slammed the door in my face. Every time I stop here is an issue. Either the food isn't made correctly, or the order isn't correct, or they are just plain rude as hell. I honestly don't know how they can keep their McDonald's franchise license. Do yourself a favor and eat ANYWHERE but there. read more

I've gotten McDonald's chicken nuggets many times and I've never seen the nuggets aligned in a perfect stack. Well they were today. Cutest thing I've seen read more

If i could give zero stars, I would. Literal worst place to get food. Ice cream machine is always down, out of everything. Slowest fast food place ever read more

We ordered the buttermilk chicken tenders. Not a bad choice, except they had either been cooked for like 30 minutes too long or they had been on the warmer all day. They were like super crunchy chew toys. They were not edible. When I took them back in and told them the problem, the looked at them like it was no big deal. I stated that those should have never been served to anyone. They started to replace them with more that were in the warmer (the were just as bad looking), when I had to insist on fresh ones. No apologies. No sense of regret for trying to feed my family chicken jerky. Nothing. I will never go back. Now that 62 BBQ has lost my business, and now McDonalds, the food selection is getting pretty slim in Johnstown. read more

The worst McDonald's on the planet. By far the slowest service and worst experience everytime I go no matter what time of the day it is. I have literally fallen asleep in the drive thru waiting on food before. HORRIBLEEEEEEEE get your shit together for real. read more

Shout out to McDonald's for giving my children coffee with their happy meals! I am not even sure how this happens. The cups were kids meal cups! Why in the world would you put coffee in there? Remodeling is going on on so there was no inside business. We were the only car in line so a hectic time was no excuse. Thank goodness we waited to serve them once home rather than in the car. read more

The realest stayed open past close for me, I called 5 minutes before close told them I was 15 minutes away and they made it happen. These people need a raise. They are the only reason this place is open read more

I went with 2 stars instead of 1 because it is McDonald's. you don't go there for quality food or service; you go for fast food cheap. Unfortunately they miss the mark almost every time on the fast scale. Last night I waited for 30 mins after I had paid for my food for me to receive it. After I had paid for my food I was stuck at the first window due to cars in front of me so I talked to the girl in the cash window. I was rather impressed by the dedication when she told me "I don't know why everyone has to complain when they wait; there are 2 other fast food restaurants in town and I am sure they don't have lines". That was impressive. I waited 30 mins for my food and when I got to the window they started to give me the wrong food for one of the many cars that pulled out of line due to the wait. I corrected it and they got me my food and it was correct. I have tried to let the owner know what is happening by filing a complaint at corporate and asking for a call but I have never received a call back from anyone. I figure that the owner not caring about this location is the reason that it is the pit that it has become. It will continue to survive in Johnstown due to the fact that there is really nothing else here but if you are in the area and want fast food, just go across the street to Wendy's and you will save yourself about 30 mins of your life. read more

McDonald's is pretty low on my list of places to eat, but even this one I give a miss unless it is breakfast and I'm jonesing for the addictive chemicals they put in the hash browns and sausage McMuffin with egg sandwiches. Like so many other reviews, it is slow service and often not correct. If you're going to drive towards Columbus, I'd recommend the McDonalds off of the New Albany road exit over this one any day. read more
