Best McDonald's in Duval. Ice Cream machine is never down! Customer service is always great

Girl in front rude af for being lowkey incompetent. We had to come in twice, and wait 30 mins over an order they apparently didn't receive. They instead lied beforehand and said "we're working on your order." Then switched to "We never got it." Then we got into the car and realized we got the wrong order. Came back, got attitude, then had to show the order on our phone again. So frustrating. Please go to another location. even one star is too nice. read more

Go into this expecting McDonald's quality food and that's exactly what you'll get. Items always come out hot and made the right way (as pictured/ordered). Never had an issue with this location. What makes this location really stand out is the way they churn out the orders. Never had a long wait for lunch here! Always get my order with stunning quickness (did I go to Chick-fil-A?). Absolutely amazed at how well oiled of a machine this location's busy lunch can be. Someone is doing something right with their hiring. read more

We did a mobile order and selected the option to go inside to pick it up. It was closed inside!!! What the actual FRICK!?!!?! THAT IS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Stop blaming it on covid that we can't go inside. Covid is over. Just hire more people you idiots! However, outside the restaurant there was someone holding a shampoo bottle who tapped on our car window asking for money if he gave us the shampoo bottle. I am sure that the shampoo bottle had very healthy vitamins inside it and definitely nothing harmful. I did not realize McDonald's was tapping into new markets! Well done! read more

This is easily my least favorite McDonald's, but I was heading down town to FSCJ and we all know that this Mickey D's is the closes. Idk why I decided to walk in on this particular day but I'm glad that I did. I was greeted upon entering and every employee from the one who took my order, to the one who handed me my food and the one who made and handed me my drink had A1 customer service *SIDE EYE* I know right! I felt like I was staring in a movie and McDonald's was the producer. My iced caramel frappe with extra caramel was great even though 99% of it got wasted because I don't do coffee and my hash brown was hot and fresh (she even tried to up sell me at the register, NICE)! My order wasn't wrong but my boss placed his order 15-20 mins before me and when we pull in his order is ether not ready or given to the wrong person after which he had to wait till he told them his issue a number of times the eventually get his food but we wasted our lunch brake entirely waiting 45 mins on an order that should of been ready idk who owns this branch but clean house man your employees have no idea what they are doing we was inside the store with about 18 people all with ether wrong orders insane waits and line jumps they have no idea what to do and I feel bad for the younger people who have their first job because they gonna grow out of this job and leave it with no skills to improve later in life whoever the owner is man CLEAN HOUSE find 2 Solid managers alternate schedules boom fill in your gaps with young able bodied and willing staff that will make this store better read more

0/10 i do not recommend trusting this place with preparation on anything you are going to put in your body. My 2 year old got a kids meals , the fries were raw and mushy and they gave her expired milk. She threw up all over the restaurant and got food poisoning. read more

Came in today and order it off my app, 10 minutes later they show up with my food inside is three cheeseburgers with a sticker on each one that says no mustard and no onions, I opened up the cheeseburgers and they all have mustard on them. What the heck? They literally put the sticker on the burger that says no mustard and put mustard on it anyway. Smh. read more

The convenience of curbside pickup is negated by the fact that more often than not, burgers are undercooked. And not just at this location or even in this state. My double quarter pounder had at least 1 patty that was split in half. The burger was sitting in a troth of grease which had soggied the bottom bun, and more kept dripping out as I tried to eat it. And maybe I shouldn't have because the burger was very undercooked. I mean it was warm but the meat was red. I would not have even given this to the numerous homeless people loitering around, they have enough to deal with besides a side of gastrointestinal issues that's sure to come read more

Service is toxic. Unfriendly. Breakfast at the drive thru is "let's wait out the customer at 10:15am or 10:20am until they leave because we stop serving breakfast at 10am it seems everyday. Order is always wrong or the quality is crap. It's amazing actually how bad it is... read more

Went in was standing there for awhile the employee saw me didn't come over the other was on the phone then finally came over while still the phone and took my order the food took like 10 minutes. I went three consecutive nights... Every night they have an excuse they are not working ... cleaning fryers ... switching shifts .... wiping the floor ... and they either we are not open or wait 30-45 minutes If you are not welling to serve food ... just close the restaurant please do not waste our time driving back and forth to your place ... Waited 25 minutes for mobile app curbside service; finally went in, manager said she came out with my order, then found out she considers curbside service only the curb just beyond the drive through window - they don't even look at the parking spot number you enter in the app. This isn't the first time I've had trouble here. The Trinity FL location is the one I'm referring too. All three times I was there I ordered breakfast. All three times I waited 15 minutes to get my food. The second time, they gave my order to someone else. The third time, the drive thru was busy, however there was no one inside. We were not acknowledged for 10 minutes by anyone. The kids that work there could learn some people skills from the kids at Culver's. It's all in the training. read more

On Feb. 3, 2022, on 11900 Atlantic Blvd., Jacksonville, FL, I placed exact change on counter as I waited for Kema to stop slamming nugget basket against fryer. She came over, refused to pick up cash, saying it was "respect" to place it in her hand. I said "What?" She again refused to pick up cash on counter. I placed dollar bill, nickel and two pennies in her hand. She became impatient and left without the last penny. As I walked away, I heard her say, "old". It isn't as if stopping at McDonalds isn't already an act of desperation... This store's nice, new spiffiness conceals the fact that inside are some of the absolute worst McDonalds employees on the face of the earth. Between waiting nearly three minutes at the drive-through before hearing a lazy "Hullow?" over the speaker because NOBODY WAS EVEN PAYING ATTENTION TO TAKE ORDERS and sitting in line behind only two other cars (neither of which was handed a big order) for an additional FIFTEEN MINUTES, we pretty much burned up the stress reduction buffer I had allowed for my son to eat his breakfast at a leisurely pace before taking the SAT just a couple blocks away. I usually swing by this place early in the morning around 5 am for coffee and sandwich on my way to work. Normally only the drive through is open. Got to give props to the guys working this place during that shift. They are always professional and on top of their game in customer service. Every Sunday evening I stop by this McDonalds to get a chocolate chip frappe for my long ride. I've been there several times when I've gotten a great frappe... Most of the time the chocolate frappe has too much ice and tastes just like ice chips or no caramel... For the last month they have been out of chips. This past Wednesday 04/13 after waiting approximately 5 minutes to place my order I was told they are temporarily not selling that product even though it's on the menu. Frustrated I drove away. I then go to the McDonalds on Emerson near I95 and order my chocolate chip Frappe and have no issue, I would prefer to support the McDonalds in my own neighborhood but if you're not going to have the product nor make it right then I'll just continue to use another McDonalds... read more

So this is a 2fer. I came here for breakfast on 4/8/18 and wrote a review on how bad the service was in the drive thru and then on the inside. That time after about a 5 minute wait in the 2nd lane I thought it was broken because a couple of cars and gone through the 1st lane and ordered. Drove around to the 1st lane only to see the person behind me when I was in the 2nd lane order. After waiting for a few minutes and seeing the drive thru pay window come to a dead stop, I went inside. The kiosk was not working right, the cashier could only take cash, yet had no single bills for change. Finally was able to place the order, but it took 15 minutes for a single Egg McMuffin and had I not caught the eye of the guy making the food it might have been even longer. I can't believe I came back to this McDonald's after my last review, but I got back into town on a late flight and I was starving. Needed something to eat before getting to my hotel. Besides it couldn't be bad again could it?? OK so it could, but at least this time I had the sense to leave after the employee told me at the drive-thru that her system was down and it would be 15 minutes before I could place my order. Now after looking at the reviews, some dating back 4 years, I can't believe corporate McDonald's hasn't stepped in an taken this store away from the owner! If the reviews were for bad food I could see that it was just people complaining about "fast food" and McDonald's haters in general, but the complaints are about customer service and many about the drive thru issues like the first time I came here!! read more

Lord knows I would give this place a -10 if I could. I came at 3:50 in the morning after previously trying another mcdonalds that was "breakfast only"(which wasn't official until 4:30) and "cash only" bc the system was down (which I understand). Now I'm at the drive thru and I'm waiting. And waiting. And waiting. Finally I give up and go around the the first window. And guess what? I wait some more. Now at one point I see an older female worker walk in the back near the window and i waved out and honked the horn and wasn't acknowledged. A few minutes later a younger guy goes to the sink, wrings out some sort of rag, and looks right dead at me. Once again, waving and honking the horn. Once again, ignored. Now, I'm steady blaring on my horn and start to drive around the building. I say screw it and go home. I called 15 times. 15 TIMES. On the 16th I finally got an answer. Once the woman picked up, she was like, "who ignored you bc it wasn't me" I'm like OBVIOUSLY ONE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES she goes on to say that the system was down blah blah but that doesn't give you the right to ignore a customer you shouldve let me know instead of outright ignoring me it was extremely disrespectful. She said well I'm sorry like she really didn't care. Im so fumed. I go to say uhm ohkay well in the morning I'll be calling corporate and she hangs up on me. Hangs up. Because thats the perfect way to handle an angry customer right? Yeah just know that mcdonalds is really losing my respect you want $15 for what??
