A quick stop turned into 45 minutes of trying to get the order right. Items were swapped or missing. The hot cakes and bacon were great. We still missed one order of bacon. When the food was ordered, it was clearly stated a few times. A sandwich and a drink were swapped. Another sandwich was made the wrong way twice.The store manager was helpful and fixed the order. The last time I was here, I was really craving a McFlurry but sadly, their ice cream machine was down. The time before that, I ordered some beef patties while I was on the carnivore diet (just ask for # of plain quarter pound beef patties from the a la cart menu). The only thing that went well was the young girl at the drive thru speaker and at the window to pay. She was very nice and pleasant. Outside of that... they had somebody power washing the sidewalks right near the speaker making it hard to hear. The drive thru line was about 12 cars deep. Not sure if the receipt time printed is when I placed the order or paid but it took 10 minutes from paying to getting my Diet Coke and Sausage Egg McMuffin. I'm going to rant over $2.15... Ordered fries via the McDonalds Mobile app. Stood inside for over 25 minutes before giving up and leaving. Never received my order. Total waste of my time when they were clearly focused on the drive thru and not the inside customers. The order even showed completed on the app and there was nothing I could do to contest it. Called to request a refund and she said I had to physically come back in. Sorry but no. I will not be coming to this location again. Not even for a refund. Girl behind the register is slower than molasses, reminder as to why I don't come often ..the remodel looks really plain. I liked it before,, everything down to the tile is builder grade. They did sorting upgrade the chairs to some IKEA looking ones. The kids really liked their happy meals and toys though. Remember you're at a McDonalds Not a 5 star restaurant. They're all pretty much the same. So for a fast food place its OK. They added some kiosks where you can order for yourself and pay. Terrible and some absolutely rude employees, even for a McDonalds. We have a large work truck and trailer so going through the drive-thru is not an option. We parked and two of us went into the lobby to order breakfast around 8am. Nobody was at the front counter and a sign on the register said the kiosks were open. We were putting our order into the kiosks and during this time other potential customers came in, some through the door we used while others used the door on the other side. 7 total were in the lobby including me and my guy. An employee walked by and he rudely said the lobby was closed and then went to the back, he shortly returned snapping at everyone including the customers about why weren't the doors locked and how the lobby is supposed to be closed. I asked how we the customers were supposed to know that? The manager finally spoke and said they had a sign on the door. The door we used had no such sign. The employee then told us we all needed to leave and use the drive-thru. None of the customers in the lobby were happy at this point. I briefly explained that my truck and trailer were to big for the drive-thru. The employee then told me I needed to stand in line and walk up to the drive-thru window. Sorry, Im not going to stand in the drive-thru line amongst cars and walk up to the window as we were told to so by the McDonald's employee. That is obviously unsafe and a ridiculous expectation for your customers. Reading over some of the other reviews before I wrote this review shows it obvious the ownership does not care. I would be surprised if they even read the reviews. McDonald's quality and service has gone to crap over the years and its all on the ownership for allowing it to happen. This review for the McDonald's near Oakleaf, by Target. This location gets my order right 9 times out of 10 which is a really good percentage for a fast food joint. Most of my employee interactions are very friendly. The food is pretty standard. I actually only eat fries and drink unsweet tea at McD's, but my family eats the cheeseburgers and nuggets. I've only been pulled forward a few times and my food comes out pretty swiftly. I feel like at least one of the other reviews posted is for the McD's off Argyle, near Winn Dixie. IMO, the (fancy, more modern looking interior) one near Winn Dixie is not great. I always have to ask for my Unsweet tea in a foam cup and half the time they get it wrong. Was asked to pull up and wait, which is not a problem but when I had to sit there for close to 15 mins, that just seems a little excessive. This location is an "extra fancy" location with granite counter tops, flat panel TVs, a kids room with their own flat panel, wifi and well decorated. Tables were always dirty and took over 15 mins after using the kiosk to order to get a Mcmuffin meal and coffee with no one in the lobby. my food sat on the counter for 5 minutes or more before any effort to bring it to the table. Staff seems to resent the fact that they have to bring your food to the table. Definitely worse if you are a senior white male. I felt serious resentment attitude from the staff and especially the manager on duty. I tried to speak with the manager but she claimed she was not the manager and ignored me. I used to go 2 times a week but now just going the Hardees or Chik fil a who treat the customer with respect. Wendy's will start serving Breakfast in January 2020 too.I do not know who owns this location but they are losing a ton of business because the the attitude of the morning staff and manager. AVOID AVOID AVOID this location as a lot of seedy druggies types in the lobby also. Not very safe place for you or your children or grandchildren. I went to this mcdonalds and asked for a big mac with a regular bun because my daughter is allergic to sesame seeds which i specifically stated the reasons why i wanted a regular bun and it seemed funny to them to pack everything that goes in a big mac in a small plastic container WITHOUT THE BREAD!!!!!!
