I have to say that this particular McDonald's, which is attached to a gas station and has definitely seen better days. Not that I am in McDonald's a lot, but this place had pretty much zero ambiance, even for a fast food place. I was here at about seven thirty on a Thursday morning and there were a few people ahead of me. I placed my order and got it in an appropriate amount of time. I got the sausage biscuit and a chicken biscuit. They were what you would expect from a McDonald's. This McDonald's definitely needs a face-lift, but it serves its purpose overall. It is also just off of the highway, so that makes it convenient for people traveling the highway. I will give it three stars, but if it was for the looks I'd it, it would be one or two stars. If you are able avoid this Mcdonalds avoid it like a bad habit!! I'm sure you would rather spend your hard earned money somewhere you can at least receive decent service. This Mcdonalds is dirty and employs rude disgruntled employees that truly hate their jobs and displays their negative attitudes right in front of management without repercussions. I stood there watching the worker make a frozen coffee for a customer from what appeared to be a malfunctioning machine while continually wiping the machine with a DIRTY rag until she was able to fiill the cup and give the dirty coffee to the customer. First of all allll the worker have a really bad attitude all I can say is if you don't like your job get yourself another one. The lady I think she was the manager with the red shirt even rolled her eyes because I forgot to order something after I had said I was done ordering. This is the worst McDonald's I have ever experienced in my life! I ordered a dine in combo #3 and they managed to screw up with both, fries and a burger. My fries were unusually oily, darker than usual and soft. They also gave me only one patty instead of two in my burger. While I waited for about 5 minutes for them to add a patty of meat to the burger, I had a chat with another customer. He claimed that he is a regular to this place due to his job (the restaurant located inside the truckstop) and the crew members at this store regularly screw up orders. Whomever is working on the grill needs to be fired for this mayo burger they sold me instead of a McChicken. I ordered 4 total and asked to add cheese to all four and add ketchup and pickles to two. I received two burgers smothered in mayo and two sandwiches with only cheese and all four patties were cold- the cheese was not even melted! I also ordered a Fillet-O-Fish and it was smothered in tarter sauce and ordered a Mcdouble plain and it had everything but cheese on it. This place is ridiculous. read more

Worst customer service ever. Family and I were traveling through and stopped for a quick break. There's no urgency to get people there food in a timely manner. The associates and manager were arguing in front of customers while we waited on our food...that was forgotten about. Waited 15 minutes on a happy meal that was never accounted for. This is the worst McDonalds I've ever been too. It took 20 min to get two cheeseburgers. There was over 6 people waiting like me.

Not sure when house slippers became part of McDonalds uniform but that is what you will see here. Workers hanging out with friends around the counter when they should look around and see the dirty table and floor. I couldn't bring myself to even go back in this morning to get some much needed coffee. Just because this place is at a truck stop does not mean you can just operate any way and it will be ok. Clean this place up and show respect to the men and women getting the food you put on the table from one point to another. read more

Staff were nice enough, but they had the worst french fries that I've ever had at a McDonald's. They were overcooked, and had a terrible off taste like they hadn't changed the frying oil recently. We threw them away. They definitely need to step up their quality control. read more

I signed up for yelp just for this restaurant. They advertise 24/7 but they shut down from like 2am-5am. I have videos for McDonald's corporate if they need them. If you're a lawyer try to order during those times and compile a portfolio and sue them for false advertisement. Even if they are open wait times are stupid. They could double or triple profits with the right management as big of a truck stop that it is. I suggest going to the location on Ellis ave in Jackson (2 miles or so away) if you're hungry and don't want to wait at whatever hour it is. read more
