So I'll be honest we simply do not do must fast food and in general American fast chains when in another country is one of no go rules.
That being said I am a fiend for onion rings. So when we saw that Turkish McDonalds has rings. The menu we sucked it up and went in. For 25 Turkish Lira or about $1.30 US we had a large container of them.
Anticipation was clearly the better experience. They basically were the same kind of a abomination that Burger King provides you that is instead of a solid ring of onion it's basically pressed and molded tiny pieces of onion, kind of like a circular tater tot. To be fair it was better than Burger King's because the batter had a bit more body to it like a traditional onion ring aside from that could barely taste the onion. It came with a side of ranch and while I'm not a huge ranch fan I have to say it did work on the onion rings
