Usually I steer away from fast food, but I was starving and needed something to hold me until dinner. I decided to check out the food court. After circling around twice, I settled on KFC because the Twister wrap looked good. The line was a bit confusing so I did not know where to wait to order, so that was my fault. When it was my turn, I showed the employee a picture of Twister on the menu. He then asked me in Turkish if I wanted drink and fries, I think, but I didn't really understand, so I gestured no. He proceeded with giving me a cup of soda and fries. I am not sure if the wrap comes with it, but I was thankful. The order was very quick and I said thank-you in my broken Turkish to the same gentleman.
When I tried the wrap it was delicious! The chicken was tender inside and the batter was crispy outside. I liked the combination of the dressing inside with the overall food texture. Fries were crispy and pretty light in my opinion. And soda is--well--soda. After eating, I used Google Translate to help me translate from English to Turkish and wrote a thank-you note on a napkin for the employees. I thanked them for being nice and helping me with my first Turkish KFC order. They smiled and were very happy, gave me thumbs up. read more
